Two days ago a massive crowd of civilians blocked the runway of a #USAF C-17A (s/n 02-1109) with Afghan refugees onboard.
Afghan civilians flooded the runway chasing the C-17 down the runway.
Two #USArmy’s AH-64E attack helicopters were called in to disperse the crowd. But several civilians grabbed landing gear doors of the C-17A and were killed after the plane took off from the runway.
The Taliban said one of its leaders and co-founders, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, had returned to Afghanistan after 10 years.
