Boom! Even Leftist Jeff Bezos Goes After Joe Biden for Spreading Lies and Not Understanding Cause of the Failing Economy

Late Saturday, the billionaire founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, called out Biden for his propaganda and lies related to the surging gas prices impacting every American.

On Saturday, Biden shifted his blame of gas prices from Putin to the owners of gas stations nationwide.

Biden posted, “My message to the companies running gas stations and setting prices at the pump is simple: this is a time of war and global peril. Bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you’re paying for the product. And do it now.”

The call for the price reduction is simply ridiculous when gas station owners make from 2¢ to 7¢ for a gallon of gas sold. That number is far less than what the government makes on each gallon of gas. Biden is deflecting blame away from his own policies and poor administration and blaming anything he can for the record-setting gas prices this year.

Bezos had a simple message for Biden on Saturday and called him out for spreading misinformation and lies.

Bezos even implied that Biden might not understand how the markets work.

“Ouch. Inflation is far too important a problem for the White House to keep making statements like this. It’s either straight ahead misdirection or a deep misunderstanding of basic market dynamics,” Bezos posted on Twitter.

The response by Bezos drew a lot of attention from users across Twitter. Many pointed out that Biden consistently worked to find someone new to blame.

This was not the first time Biden blamed gas station owners in recent weeks, calling on them to give up their profits to lower the gas prices by mere pennies. Biden made the same declaration in a speech regarding Ukraine and the economy.

“To the companies running gas stations and setting those prices at the pump, this is a time of war, global peril, Ukraine. These are not normal times. Bring down the price you are charging at the pump. Do it now,” Biden said.

Bezos pointed out the misinformation related to the recent inflationary surge impacting America. Inflation occurs when the money supply for a nation outpaces the quantity of goods. This is precisely what has happened in America since Biden took the helm in 2021. The $1.9 trillion stimulus package was just the start. But the government has worked hard to divert attention away from their own responsibility for hurting American’s financially.

Famed Economist and Nobel Prize winner Milton Friedman said in a speech more than 40 years ago that this is the very strategy Washington employs, blaming everyone else when they are the reason for the problem.

He notes that Washington will blame “greedy corporations” or “grasping unions” or, worse yet, “spendthrift consumers” who cause inflation to surge. He then says that they will shift to blaming foreign governments and rulers.

He says, “Only Washington has that little printing press in their basement that can turn out those little green pieces of paper we call money. And therefore, only Washington can produce inflation.”

Congressman Thomas Massie recently pointed out that since the beginning of the Biden administration, the leaders in Washington were aware of the coming financial doom if they continued to produce money. And, even in early 2020, well before Putin and gas station owners, lawmakers were looking to hide from responsibility and avoid being held liable for the crisis.

In referring to the COVID bailouts, Massie said, “The stimulus package that just passed is the biggest wealth transfer from common folks to the super-rich (Wall Street and bankers) in the history of mankind. Done in the name of a virus with $1200 checks as the cheese in the trap. This will be obvious in short order.”

It is clear now these words were an accurate prediction of the state of today’s economy.
