YouTube sensation turned pro boxer Jake Paul took a direct swipe at President Biden over the weekend, calling him out for his failures and issues as the country’s leader.
Paul has roughly 4.3 million Twitter followers and took to the platform on Saturday to express his disdain for the President. He listed Biden’s “accomplishments” in the post. Among those achievements by the President were record-high gas prices, surging inflation, falling cryptocurrency values, rising rents, and creating a “new incomprehensible language.”
“If you’re reading this and voted for Biden and you still don’t regret it then you are the American problem,” he concluded.
The post has now had more than 25,000 re-posts and was liked by more than 120,000 users. Paul’s influence on the Millennial and Gen Z age group is far-reaching. He boasts more than 20 million subscribers to his YouTube channel and millions more who follow him on various social media sites.
His tweet follows milestones of the past week. Gas reached more than $5 per gallon nationwide, and inflation reached a 41-year record high of 8.6% for the nation.
Paul previously spoke about his own distant bid for the White House. He told Overtime last year that he and his older brother, Logan, plan to run for President in 2032.
“I’m running for president, but I’m not even 35 yet,” he said, noting the Constitution-prescribed minimum age limit. “My brother and I are running for President in 2032. That’s when we’ll be eligible.
“We’re still figuring it out. I might be President, he might,” Paul continued. “I think we’re gonna flip a coin and see who gets to be the president versus vice president.”
