It didn’t take long for Joe Biden to stab Boris Johnson in the back.
Joe Biden participated in a bilateral meeting with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Tuesday in the Oval Office.
Boris Johnson unexpectedly answered three questions from British reporters while Biden’s handlers shouted down the press.
American reporters tried to ask Joe Biden questions but they were blocked.
The White House Press Pool on Tuesday launched a “formal objection” to Joe Biden refusing to take questions.
“Johnson took 3 questions. White House aides shouted down U.S. attempts to ask questions. I asked Biden about southern border and we couldn’t decipher what he said,” CBS reporter Ed O’Keefe said.
It goes against protocol to have an uneven distribution of representatives allowed to ask questions.
CBS reporter Ed O’Keefe on Wednesday confronted Psaki about Biden’s refusal to answer questions from American journalists and she threw Boris Johnson under the bus.
“I think our relationship with the United Kingdom and with prime minister Johnson is so strong and abiding, we’ll be able to move beyond this,” she added. “But he called on individuals in his press corps without alerting us to that intention in advance.”
Psaki offered up a snooty response after another reporter asked if Biden felt upstaged by Boris Johnson.
“I think the president has not spent a moment worrying about it,” Psaki said.
