The Guardian Publishes Wildly Inaccurate Comparison of “Fanatical Supporters” in Brazil to American J6ers

Supporters of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro have been peacefully protesting in cities across Brazil since the election was miraculously awarded to his opponent, Lula da Silva.  Da Silva was previously convicted of corruption but later exonerated by the Supreme Court of Brazil, which allowed him to legally run against Bolsonaro.

The Gateway Pundit has previously reported on the incredible protests supporting President Bolsonaro, who is often referred to as the “Trump of the Tropics”.

Yesterday, The Guardian published an article titled “Bolsonaro Supporters Try to Storm Police HQ in ‘January 6-Style’ Rampage,” complete with a photo of couple of burning cars and a video of a burning bus.

The subtitle says “Cars and buses torched after violence erupts following ratification of Lula’s election victory.”

Fanatical supporters of Brazil’s outgoing president, Jair Bolsonaro, have torched cars and buses and tried to storm the federal police headquarters in the country’s capital in what one commentator called a botched attempt to spark a January 6-style turmoil.

The violence erupted on Monday evening after the leftwing politician who defeated Bolsonaro in October’s historic election – former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva – had his victory officially ratified by Brazil’s electoral court.

The political commentator Thomas Traumann tweeted his condemnation, saying: “Bolsonarismo has gone from being a popular far-right movement to being a terrorist cell.”

“It’s an attempt at [replicating] the Capitol,” Traumann added in reference to the storming of the US legislature by hardcore Donald Trump supporters on 6 January 2021. “It won’t work but it’s an attempt.”

The Guardian publishing this comparison is a willful attempt to defame the protesters who attended the events in DC on January 6th.  Perhaps The Guardian was confusing January 6th, 2021 with President Trump’s inauguration on January 20, 2017 when there was actual fires set and property destroyed.  217 rioters were arrested for setting DC ablaze and destroying government property.

All 217 were held in solitary confinement for over two years without bail and in horrendous conditions.  They were charged with misdemeanors which served as legitimate grounds to raid their homes and charge them with further crimes based on the invasive warrants’ findings.

Just kidding.  They were all let go within a couple of days.  This could be a big time 14th Amendment violation and equal application of the law by the Courts.

The Guardian had the opportunity to compare Brazil’s alleged “destruction” to an equally, if not more destructive series of events in the United States.  Those events that occurred on Jan. 20, 2017.  Or the May 30th “insurrection” that took place in DC and forced the President to retreat to a bunker in the White House.  The Mockingbird Media and “comedians” who wear blackface and diminish women by drooling over them jumping on trampolines in mini skirts and sports bras thought it was hilarious.

Once again, the media completely ignores a years long struggle for local municipalities trying to get the democrat darlings of ANTIFA’s destruction under control while Mockingbird Media “news” outlets, late night pundits, and even politicians supported the burning down of local communities and looting small businesses, many that would never recover from the damage and destruction of the ANTIFA thugs.

But Mockingbird Media outlets like The Guardian continue to slander those on January 6th who didn’t set fire to a single structure, building, or vehicle.  Not even a small fire to keep warm on the chilly January day.

If The Guardian wanted to be accurate, they knew exactly what the small factions of protests in Brazil were comparable to.  Even if the perpetrators were actually, at least in part, convicted felons dressed as Bolsonaro supporters and acting like the FBI agitators embedded in the crowd on January 6th.

UPDATE:  And now we know the violence in Brazilia on Monday night was by felons likely paid by the communists loyal to Lula de Silva.
