In firearms competitions like USPSA and IDPA, even a slight increase in capacity can save your bacon on a course of fire you’ve missed a few shots on. Strike Industries is proud to introduce their latest offering for Glock pistols, the EMP or Extended Magazine Plate for the Glock 17 and Glock 22 pistols. The Strike Industries EMP will be compatible with Glock Factory OEM double stack magazines and will fit within the USPSA 140mm Race division limit for magazine length.

Strike Industries EMP (Extended Magazine Plate) For Glock 17 and 22
The new Strike Industries EMP series will be machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum and finished off in three different anodized colors including SI BLACKLINE, REDLINE, or FDELINE. Each extended magazine plate will include an aluminum locking plate to keep the magazine extended base pad from slipping off during quick reloads and drops from a pistol.
The Strike Industries Aluminum Extended Magazine Plate for GLOCK™ G17 (9mm) / G22 (.40 cal) was designed to provide smoother magazine reloading through a slow drag / no snag design while maintaining maximum magazine capacity. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, this Extended Magazine Plate (EMP) adds plus 5 9mm or plus 4 .40 cal rounds to compatible OEM double stack GLOCK™ magazines. Following the success of our EMP systems for pistols, the form factor and unique geometric design gives a unified and aggressive aesthetic look to your GLOCK™ G17. Included is an aluminum plate which adds extra locking security. Give your GLOCK™ pistol the extra rounds it deserves with the Strike Industries Aluminum Extended Magazine Plate (EMP) for GLOCK™ G17 (9mm).
Even if competition isn’t your main goal, when circumstances allow an extended magazine could provide you with an added layer of comfort knowing you’ve got an additional 22 rounds of capacity in reserve or even loaded in your pistol. Strike Industries has also made these new Extended Magazine Plates compatible with their patent-pending EMP pocket clip which directly mounts to the EMPs via set screw so that they can be carried in the pocket without the need for a dedicated magazine carrier.
Each Strike Industries Extended Magazine Plate for Glock pistols will cost $38.95 regardless of color and is shipped directly from Strike Industries. Let us know if you think these extended magazine plates would be useful in your firearms equipment lineup down in the comments below!
