Rock River Arms has made AR-15 rifles for many years, and continues to do so. Their newest release is the Ascendant series.
[SHOT 2023] New Ascendant Rifles From Rock River Arms
The Ascendant ATH (All Terrain Hunter) is designed as a precision hunting setup. RRA already makes an ATH, and this is a related development. It will be available in three calibers, 5.56 NATO (technically .223 Wylde, but both .223 and 5.56 are safe to fire), .350 Legend, and .450 Bushmaster. All models are equipped with TriggerTech Diamond triggers, and fixed-stock guns have the Magpul PRS Lite. Options also include a Vortex Strike Eagle or Viper optic along with a Rock River cantilever.
One feature that RRA stresses is the accuracy of their rifles. Rock River guarantees 3/4 MOA with all stainless barrels. All Ascendant models include a bead blasted stainless steel barrel and that same accuracy guarantee. The 5.56 model also has a fluted barrel to keep weight down.
RRA also had a new DMR Operator model on display at their booth. It is a 20″ gun with an extended free float handguard.
One other interesting item in the RRA booth was a prototype 50 BMG rifle. RBG-3XL is advertised as a precision rifle, and a .753″ 3-round group was displayed with the gun. RRA estimates an MSRP of $8,940 and hopes to release it this year.
All RRA rifles are made in the USA from American metal. Check out their website for more details and to see when these models become available.
