‘Justice For J6’ Rally Organizer: Ashley Babbitt And The Political Prisoners Deserve Justice And We Are Going To Get It For Them

As legitimate terror threats fester overseas, hundreds of patriots who are deemed domestic terrorists and insurrectionists by the Biden administration and mainstream media.  These Americans continue to languish in jail for protesting the fraud-ridden 2020 election on Capitol Hill on January 6.

On Saturday, over 700 patriots are expected to gather in the nation’s capital and peacefully demand the political prisoners be released.

Biden’s Justice Department will continue to strong-arm the will of the American people and disregard the rule of law, until We The People draw the line, Matt Baynard, organizer of the “Justice for J6”  rally, told the Gateway Pundit in an exclusive interview.

“We are holding the rally to bring attention to the hundreds of political prisoners that are being held by this administration – who are being charged with things like trespassing or parading and engaged in no violence on January 6, destroyed no property,” he said. “Yet, they are being held in prison for nine months without the opportunity for bail. They have been abused, they have been beaten, they have been denied medical care. They have been denied access to their attorneys. They are routinely abused verbally, physically. It’s dire.

“But they are hanging in there and we are going to do everything we can to bring public pressure for them to be released. At the very least, on bail, because most of them have not been charged with anything violent and still they sit in prison. Many of them are military veterans, many of them have clean records.

The 700 plus patriots attending the rally are also demanding justice for Ashley Babbitt, the unarmed Air Force veteran who was killed by Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd on Jan 6.

“It is wrong for a police department to clear itself in the shooting of an unarmed citizen. We believe there needs to be an investigation into all the decisions that led to that officer pulling the trigger and killing Ashley Babbitt,” Baynard argued. “She deserves justice and that’s what we are going to get for her.”

Trump supporters and family members of the January 6 political prisoners have told the Gateway Pundit that they are reluctant to take to the streets in Washington, DC after the government’s conspired effort to incriminate protesters in January.

Many who are struggling to make ends meet as their husbands suffer in jail fear the government may conspire an event on Saturday that could result in their incarceration, a risk parents of small children cannot take.

But the masses must unify to stand for justice, or the government will continue to shred the constitution, argued Baynard, former Trump campaign’s former director of data and strategy and founder of the non-profit organization Look Ahead America.

Baynard assures he has coordinated with law enforcement ahead of the event to prevent any situation like Jan. 6 from remotely transpiring.

“Some will not go. Some will go. We have many family members who will be speaking from the stage, testifying to the travesty inflicted upon their family members. We are going to do everything we can to keep our people safe. We have been cooperating with all the different police departments in the area,” he said. “We have our own security team there as well and we have a slew of volunteers who are also going to keep everybody safe. We are going to say in large groups. We are going to leave in large groups. That’s our plan to keep everybody safe.”

While the Department of Justice guns hard for January 6th “rioters,” BLM and Antifa “protestors” – not so much.

Every Trump rally in Washington throughout 2019 to 2020 involved violence by Antifa and Black Lives Matter – whether it was the “Demand Free Speech” rally on July 6, 2019,  the closing night of the Republican Convention at the White House on August 27, 2020, or the “Million MAGA March” on November 14, 2020.

The events on Jan. 6 resulted in approximately $1.5 million worth of damage to the Capitol, The Washington Post reports. Following the death of George Floyd, BLM and Antifa riots and looting resulted in over $2 billion in property damage, according to The New York Post.

The American people, even Democrat voters, are beginning to see the double standard, Baynard explained.

“Historically, people engaged in exactly the same kind of behavior and were arrested and released the same day – maybe they were issued a thirty or forty dollar fine. We saw this when Alexandria Ocasio Cortez stormed the Speaker’s office and led a sit-in. We saw this during the Kavanaugh hearings, where protesters stormed the Senate office building and continually interrupted the business of government during the hearings. Again, they were hit with small fines, at worst, and released,” he said. “Nearly a majority of Americans agree with us. We have to continue to push that number up. We are continuing to make the public aware. The more they hear about it, the more they realize they are on our side.”

“Protesting is one of the tools that we have. We must pressure our national legislators to take action against the Department of Justice. By going to the Capitol, and continuing to raise public awareness of this issue, we will succeed. These people have been turned into domestic terrorists, had their lives destroyed – lost their homes, lost their savings, gone into bankruptcy. What’s the difference? They did exactly the same thing as the others. They are being persecuted, not because of their behavior, because of their political beliefs.”

According to a Rasmussen poll published Tuesday, “49 percent of Likely U.S. Voters agree that protesters arrested during the January 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol are being held as ‘political prisoners,’ including 30 percent who Strongly Agree.”

Notably, 45 percent of Democrats agree that the more than 500 arrested are political prisoners.

The mainstream media, in lockstep with Democrat leadership, are crafting a façade around Justice for J6 protest outside the U.S. Capitol on Saturday. Subsequently, the US Capitol Police are reinstalling perimeter fencing around the Capitol.

Additionally, Capitol Police said in a statement Monday that its board “issued an emergency declaration, which will go into effect about the time of the demonstration and allow the Department to deputize outside law enforcement officers as the United States Capitol Police Special Officers.”

“They are trying to discourage people from going. They are a part of the left-wing institution, the leftwing ruling class that dominates this country. To them, what we are attempting to do on Sept. 18 is worse than what they ever imagined.” Baynard said. “What they fear is an America First right, organized, orderly, peacefully exercising their First Amendment rights to petition the government for justice.  What they’d like to see is some idiot doing something violent because you can just send the FBI after them and spear an entire movement with it. What they are terrified of is what we are doing – peaceful protests.”

The rally will take place from 12:00pm est to 1:15 pm est at Union Square in Washington, DC located between 1st and 3rd Streets NW/SW.

Look Ahead America will also be hosting rallies to free the political prisoners at state capitols across the country throughout September.
