Joe Biden on Friday blamed high inflation rates on Vladimir Putin in remarks at the House Democrat Caucus Conference at the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing.
“Democrats didn’t cause this problem. Vladimir Putin did,” said Biden. “Make no mistake, inflation is largely the fault of Putin.”
Biden insisted spending more than $6 trillion on his American Rescue Plan and other Covid funding with money printing “didn’t cause inflation.”
“I’m sick of this stuff! The American people think the reason for inflation is government spending more money. Simply not true!” Biden shouted.

Joe Biden also lashed out at oil company executives on Friday and blamed soaring gas prices on their greed.
