Witness: Police Stood Outside the School While Mass Murderer Salvador Ramos Went on Killing Spree – Armed Police Pinned One Man to the Ground (VIDEO)

A viral video making rounds online showing anxious, angry parents pleading to the police to go inside the school while mass murderer Salvador Ramos went on a killing spree.

On Tuesday, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced that 19 students and 2 teachers were killed in a mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.

18-year-old Salvador Ramos opened fire at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday and also shot his grandmother in the face. Senator Roland Gutierrez said the grandmother is still alive but in critical condition.

According to multiple reports, the deranged shooter spent more than 40 minutes inside as loved ones and onlookers begged the police to charge into the building.

Javier Cazares, whose daughter died in the attack, urged the bystanders to “rush in because the cops aren’t doing anything like they are supposed to. More could have been done. They were unprepared.”

A viral video showed armed police pinning one man to the ground as the bystanders yelled at them to go in.

More from Fox News:

Officials say the shooter “encountered” a school district security officer outside the school, though there were conflicting reports from authorities on whether the men exchanged gunfire.

After running inside, the gunman fired on two arriving Uvalde police officers who were outside the building, said Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson Travis Considine. The police officers were injured.

The shooter then went inside a classroom and began killing.

The gunman wasn’t killed for the better part of an hour until a Border Patrol team tactical unit arrived and shot him. Border Patrol agents were in the area because Uvalde is near the Mexican border.

A person who spoke on condition of anonymity said Border Patrol had trouble opening the locked door and a staff member had to get a key.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that the deranged shooter was shot and killed by an off-duty Customs and Border Protection agent from an elite tactical unit (BORTAC) who responded to a law enforcement request and rushed into the school, DHS’ assistant secretary of public affairs, Marsha Espinosa, confirmed on Twitter.

“U.S. Border Patrol Agents responded to a law enforcement request for assistance re an active shooter situation inside Robb Elementary School in Uvalde. Upon entering the building, Agents & other law enforcement officers faced gunfire from the subject, who was barricaded inside,” Espinosa tweeted.
