House Democrats along with Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger voted on Wednesday to censure Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) and strip him from his committee assignments. Gosar is the second Republican that Democrats have removed from their assignments.
The resolution passed with 223-207 votes. Republicans Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger joined 221 Democrats in this unprecedented move.
Three Republicans did not vote.
This came after Democrats voted in February to remove Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from her committee assignments — an unprecedented move by a majority party. 11 Republicans supported that move including Adam Kinzinger.
On Wednesday afternoon MTG went off on the GOP leadership who support RINOs who vote with Democrats but toss her and Dr. Paul Gosar under the bus.
Re. Greene did not shy away from her disgust with weak-kneed Kevin McCarthy who is supporting the 13 RINOs who voted with Democrats to pass Biden’s infrastructure bill. But McCarthy is afraid to counter Democrats in their unprecedented move to silence Republicans.
What a disgrace.
In case the media clips my comments, here’s what I think about my conference’s lack of defense for members like me and @DrPaulGosar and the lack of action against the unlucky 13 who handed over their voting card to Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden. pic.twitter.com/kAtzGFYNFH

Rep. Greene is not one to hold back.
The leadership in the @HouseGOP wouldn’t fight to keep me on committees, won’t fight for @RepGosar, but sure as hell protects 13 Republican traitors who help pass Biden’s communist agenda.
Unbelievable.
