There were reportedly two objects shot down over the weekend – one in Alaska and one in Canada. Today it’s being reported that both were small balloons.

One report over the weekend was that a US fighter jet shot down an object over Canada. According to Canada’s Defense Minister, US and Canadian jets were called in and a US F-22 shot down the object.

TGP didn’t report on the Alaska object but another report that TGP did report on was related to the FAA closing Montana air space for NORAD activity. Two F-15s were reportedly sent off to that area of Montana and nothing was shot down.

China also reported identifying an object over the weekend near its border. Nothing more has been reported on this since China first reported it.

The unidentified “objects” the U.S. shot down over Canada and Alaska are were both believed to be balloons carrying a payload, a senior U.S. official confirmed to Fox News on Sunday.
Details regarding the over Canada object were scarce throughout the weekend, but U.S. officials now describe it as a “small metallic balloon with a tethered payload,” the official told Fox. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer also said he received a briefing on the issue Sunday and was told that the device over Alaska was also believed to be a balloon.
The devices were “much smaller” than the Chinese spy craft shot down last week, however, Schumer told ABC’s This Week.
Last week a Chinese spy balloon was able to fly all the wary across the US and Americans were livid that Biden allowed that to happen. Now, this weekend Biden and Trudeau are claiming to be great defenders of North America.
