Top Ukrainian Official Challenges Biden to Come to Kiev During CNN Interview — ‘If You Are Brave’ (VIDEO)

A top Ukrainian official has challenged President Joe Biden to visit Kiev while he is in Brussels for a NATO summit next week.

Ihor Zhovka, the Deputy Head of the Office of the President, was appearing on CNN when he invited Biden to come meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, adding “if you are brave.”

While Biden has not agreed to enforce a no-fly zone over the nation and spark World War III, he has been sending them billions of taxpayer dollars.

Zhovka was discussing Zelenskyy’s disappointment that the US has not agreed to go to war for their country and asking for more free weapons.

“If NATO is not able to provide us with a humanitarian no-fly zone, please provide us with fighter jets, please provide us with anti-missile air defense systems,” Zhovka said. “So, my president will keep doing this. He spoke about this in the U.S. Congress. He’s talking about this on a daily basis.”

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked what Ukraine’s expectations are when it comes to the upcoming NATO meeting.

“Will he try to meet, though, in person with President Biden when President Biden is in Europe next week?” Blitzer asked.

“Well, you know, just this week, three prime ministers of three friendly nations – Poland, Czech Republic, and Slovenia – visited, personally, Kiev, and they met personally with President Zelensky,” he replied. “So why [doesn’t] President Biden come to Ukraine to meet with the president?”

“That would be pretty dangerous though, don’t you think?” Blitzer pointed out.

“Well, definitely it is dangerous when you have a war against my country, a war in Europe,” Zhovka said. “So, one should not be afraid to – if you are brave.”

“We’ll see if the president of the United States accepts that invitation from the president of Ukraine,” Blitzer concluded.
