Republican Congresswomen Lauren Boebert was reported to the FBI on Sunday after she posted a simple response to Biden’s latest speech on her Twitter account.
“We need to terminate this presidency,” she wrote, adding: “End quote. Repeat the line.”
She was mocking Biden, who said “presidency” instead of “pregnancy” last week when referring to a 10-year-old child’s abortion rights.
“Ten years old and she was forced to travel out of the state to Indiana to seek to terminate the presidency and maybe save her life,” the president said on Jul 8, referring to a now questionable tale of a child who was allegedly forced to travel from Ohio to Indiana for an abortion.
The comments came in a speech after Biden signed an executive order aimed at protecting certain abortion rights and medications.
Soon after Biden’s speech, Boebert said on Twitter that the presidency must be “terminated.”
Social media users reported the tweet to the FBI, the Secret Service, and the Justice Department.
One user tagged both the FBI and the Secret Service. They said, “This person continues to threaten the life of the president after taking action on Jan 6 to overthrow a valid election and government… Please take action.”
Another said, “Calling to have the President of the United States Terminated seems very dangerous!”
While yet another posted to Twitter, saying, “Hey @fbi @January6thCmte @DOJPH you might want to interview this person, sounds like a threat to me.”
This hasn’t been the only time Boebert’s public comments have drawn ire from leftists. She was widely criticized after saying she prays for Biden’s demise at an event on Jun 11.
“I do want you to know that I pray for our President. Psalm 109:8 says, ‘May his days be few and another take his office.’ Hallelujah! Glory to God,” she had said.
