Pro-abortion protesters are planning to protest at the homes of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and Chief Justice John Roberts Wednesday evening in the wake of an assassination attempt on Kavanaugh by an armed man who told police he traveled from California to kill Kavanaugh. The man got out of a taxi in front of Kavanaugh’s Maryland home after 1 a.m. Wednesday but walked away when he was spotted by U.S. Marshals. He was arrested after he called 911 and said he was armed and planned to kill Kavanaugh but was also suicidal.
The announcement for protests at homes of Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Kavanaugh gives the address of a neighborhood grocery store as a meeting place.
“Tonight we peacefully (different than quietly 🤣) rise together to say, “Not today, Fascists!” You in?!”
The group swears the protest will be peaceful and that they coordinate with law enforcement, “Just to quintuple reiterate that everyone involved in the “justices” protests are FULLY & UNEQUIVOCALLY dedicated to NON-VIOLENCE. Bad actors will try to conflate PEACEFUL PROTESTS with anything bad that happens. DO NOT BUY THE LIE…We have always been and will always continue to be both IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH and FULLY COOPERATIVE with law enforcement- both on the ground at events and leading up to them.”
“Thankfully we’ve never had a single participant at our events make this necessary, but we absolutely have a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for anyone behaving, threatening, or even joking about violence. They will either be asked to leave or handed over to law enforcement.”
Former Bush 43 press secretary Dana Perino called on Attorney General Merrick Garland to enforce federal law barring protests at the homes of federal judges and justices.
Another pro-abortion group, Ruth Sent Us, reiterated their plans for protests at the homes of conservative justices, including Kavanaugh, “Fundamentalists want us to cower in fear of their armed attacks of our homes, schools and clinics. They expect us to go high when they go low. We refuse. We’re committed to non-violence. Our protests are peaceful and joyful. Protest #SCOTUS6 with
@OurRightsDC @downrightimp”
Justice Amy Coney Barrett is next on their protest list:
