The new Democrat talking point: $3.5 trillion = zero
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday falsely claimed the Democrats’ $3.5 trillion tax-and-spend spree will cost “zero” dollars.
“It’s not about a dollar amount…the dollar amount, as the president said, is zero,” Pelosi told reporters.
There is a $3.5 trillion spending bill stalled in the senate and a $1 trillion bill making its way through the House.
This is on top of the $2 trillion Covid bill Biden signed earlier this year.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said the exact same thing during Tuesday’s briefing when confronted about Biden’s $3.5 trillion spending bill.
Psaki claimed after everything shakes out, the $3.5 trillion spending bill will cost zero dollars.
Joe Biden on Tuesday canceled his planned trip to Chicago on Wednesday to try to save his $3.5 trillion spending bill.
Biden was going to travel to Chicago as part of his Covid vaccination campaign, but he will stay in DC to try to salvage his $3.5 trillion green new deal disguised as ‘infrastructure.’
Democrat Senators Joe Manchin (WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (AZ) both said they will not support the $3.5 trillion spending bill (even though it really costs zero dollars).
