NYT Contributor Tweets Out that Colorado Springs Shooter Was on FBI’s Radar Following Bomb Attack – Then Quickly Deletes It

Benjamin Ryan is a far left reporter who contributes at The New York Times, NBC News, the Guardian, and other leftist outlets.

Ryan is obviously interested in leftist causes and smearing anyone who does not believe in the dangerous woke agenda. His tweets today contain slurs against anyone who does not support sexual grooming of young children.

Following the shooting this morning at a Colorado gay club, Benjamin Ryan tweeted out that the killer was on the FBI’s radar.

Then he quickly deleted it.

As Kristinn Taylor reported this morning, Colorado Springs police identified the suspect detained in the overnight mass shooting at gay nightclub Club Q as Anderson Lee Aldrich, a 22-year-old male. The shooting killed five people at the club and injured at least 18.

No motive for the shooting has been reported as of yet. Aldrich was taken to a local hospital with unstated injuries according to police, however police said they did not shoot Aldrich.

Police found two firearms at the scene. Aldrich used a long rifle in the shooting.

Last year Aldrich was arrested for a bomb threat against his mother.

Here is video of the incident on June 18, 2021.

Aldrich never should have had a gun for his gay club attack.

It is likely that Aldrich was on the FBI watch list since he was arrested for a bomb threat on his mother’s home.

It is also likely he was not allowed to own guns following his arrest.

But Ben Myers deleted his tweet. It’s hard to blame conservatives when we know the shooter was most likely on the FBI watch list — like all the others.

We reached out to Ben Myers for comment.
