Malcolm Nance, a left-wing MSNBC intelligence analyst, minimized Thursday’s suicide bombing outside Kabul’s airport, which reportedly killed 13 US service members, stating to his nearly one million Twitter followers to “deal with it.”
At the time of Nance’s post, it was reported that 4 Marines were killed.
“U.S. officials said 11 Marines and one Navy medic were among those who died. They said another 12 service members were wounded and warned the toll could grow. More than 140 Afghans were wounded, an Afghan official said, AP News reported.
While the attacks near the airport are resulting in many fatalities and pushed most media members to prepare for the worst, Nance remained unfazed by the terror incident.
“20 YEARS- FYI there have been terrorist suicide bombers killing civilians nearly DAILY in Afghanistan. This ain’t new. It’s why we are leaving,” Nance tweeted before adding the hashtag “#DealWithIt,” Nance wrote in a now deleted post.
Nance, a former US Navy officer, was quickly blasted for stating that people should “deal with” the loss of life.
“Imagine not just thinking this, but feeling so beyond shame and perspective that you tweet it publicly,” Fourth Watch editor Steve Krakauer responded.
You are a soulless coward. https://t.co/STtogS5rnH

“Malcolm, this is a sh-t take,” journalist Siraj Hashmi wrote.
“Deal with” with American casualties, this absolute jackass says. Just #dealwithit you guys.
OMG. What WON’T leftists do to cling to this worthless president’s policies?
This is disgusting. https://t.co/n3uTBagjQo

“Can’t think of anything witty to say here but maybe if your tweet about a suicide bombing includes ‘hashtag dealwithit’ it’s not a good tweet,” journalist Jack Crosbie responded.
This guy….he just doesn’t stop. This is a Joy Reid and Jen Rubin-like take.
“Eh, people are dead. It happens.” https://t.co/nKL8l95oak

Nance, who has a prolonged history of pushing conspiracy theories and outright lies, was a key proponent of Russia-related conspiracies on MSNBC throughout Trump’s presidency. He often appears on the shows of hyper-partisan broadcasters such as Joy Reid and Lawrence O’Donnell, and he has long maintained that former President Trump was a “asset” of the Russian government.
Nance Plays The Race Card For Being Called Out
“AFGHANISTAN: We have lost 4 of our servicemembers. The reality is this is terrible. The cost could be greater if we don’t complete this mission. For the Racist assholes who are writing & calling me a “N*gger” you disgraced their loss & the other 2,372 of our brothers & sister,” Nance wrote to Twitter.

Nance made headlines in 2017 when he tweeted that the Islamic State terror organization should carry out a suicide assault on Trump Tower in Istanbul. According to The Federalist, he removed the tweet but did not apologize. He also said that any soldiers who backed Trump lacked honor because of Trump’s comments about the late Sen. John McCain.
He also asserted that his MSNBC colleague Reid’s controversial Florida blog, which included homophobic remarks and other unpleasant writings, was the work of hackers months after the strange claim was debunked.
