A man was slashed across the face at a subway station in Manhattan on Monday.

According to reports, a 27-year-old man was slashed across the face after getting into an argument with the suspect.

The victim was treated at the scene by emergency responders.

The suspect is still at large.

WABC reported:

A 27-year-old man was slashed across the face after getting into a verbal dispute with a suspect at subway station in Manhattan.

The incident happened just before 3 p.m. Friday inside the 14th Street Union Square subway station on the N/Q/R train platform.

Police say the suspect removed the victim’s backpack and fled from the scene after the slashing.

The victim refused medical attention.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20’s, approximately 5’3”.
