According to analysis from the New York Times, $1.2 trillion will be spent over 8 years and $550 billion will go to roads, bridges, rail lines, electric vehicles, water systems and other programs.
Billions of dollars will also go to Marxist pet projects to fight so-called climate change.
Wednesday’s vote to proceed to debate the bill is just one of many steps before the senate will ultimately pass the bill.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer gloated Wednesday night.
