Jill Biden will undergo a procedure Thursday at Walter Reed Medical Center to remove an “object lodged in her foot.”

According to Jill Biden’s spox: “Last weekend, prior to her two official events in Hawaii, Jill Biden stepped on an object on the beach which became lodged in her left foot. She will undergo a procedure today at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to remove the object. Joe Biden will join her.”

Jill Biden spent the weekend in Hawaii where she promoted vaccines and visited Waipahu High School on Oahu which served as a vaccination clinic.
