President Trump is under constant attack from the media, Big Tech, the Democrats, foreign nations, and the leadership of the GOP. Despite this, he charges forward sharing the truth about the 2020 Election steal and the catastrophe of the Biden administration.
As a result, the GOP and a super-majority of Trump-backed candidates won back the US House in the 2022 election.
Can you imagine how hard it must have been to see your election get stolen, to be silenced and then be told to accept the steal? This is what President Trump has faced. But he has persevered, held rallies, and has spoken openly about what happened.
After constant negative press and the leadership of his own party doing all they could to prevent him from winning the Presidency, President Trump was poised to win in 2020. He crushed Biden in attendance at rallies. Trump signs were widespread and there was little enthusiasm for Biden.
Yet despite President Trump winning millions more votes than any President, or any Republican ever, the election was awarded to Joe Biden even though there was ample evidence that the results of the election in swing states were not certifiable.
What did President Trump do?
President Trump persevered and began backing candidates he thought would put the America before the party.
Joy Overbeck shared at Townhall:
The Trump magic is clear in the Midterm numbers – 92% of Trump’s endorsees won their primaries, as did 86% of his general election picks. The nay-sayers claiming his 2020 coattails were toxic in 2022 – even though he had no coattails because he wasn’t on the ballot – are simply wrong. In total, Trump’s candidates won 224 of 241 primary races and 208 of 254 general-election ones, according to the Trump-hating Washington Post. People obviously like to vote for the candidates Trump likes. Rather than waning, his influence is on the rise. (https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/11/21/trump-republicans-elections/)
Also – if the usual suspects are using the 2022 election to condemn Trump’s 2024 presidential run, why shouldn’t they give him credit for winning back the House? And for the really big news that Republicans actually beat Dems in the popular vote by about 3.5 million ballots?
The Trump-floggers can’t have it both ways.
According to The Washington Times, Republicans’ 3.5 million (3%) Midterm popular vote win over the Democrats should have translated into a net gain of about 25 House seats, giving the GOP a firm 230 seat majority. What went wrong wasn’t a Trump hangover, but that Republicans won votes in districts which were already overwhelmingly Republican, instead of the races where those ballots were sorely needed to score seats. But we can still toss back some champagne because in 2022 citizens gave the Democrats about 10.3 million fewer votes than their 60.7 million votes in the 2018 Midterms which resulted in their 235-219 House majority now thankfully over.
Overbeck goes on to report that President Trump increased support from nearly every ethnic group.
President Trump has faced unimaginable headwinds from corrupt politicians, a corrupt justice system, corrupt judges, and corrupt government workers from almost every government entity. Yet he perseveres.
The American people know the 2020 and 2022 elections were broken and stolen. President Trump knows it as well. This is why Americans are still behind President Trump.
