Elon Musk To Attend Twitter All-Hands Meeting To Field Employee Questions

Elon Musk is set to speak to Twitter employees this week for the first time at a company-wide meeting since launching his takeover bid of the social media giant.

The virtual meeting will take place on Thursday. Musk will answer questions from Twitter employees, a source told Business Insider, citing an email to staff from Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal.

Business Insider first reported the meeting.

The announcement comes after Twitter said last week that it anticipated a shareholder vote on the final sale sometime in early August.

Twitter employees have expressed concerns that Musk’s intentions could destabilize the social media company’s business and hurt it financially. Project Veritas recently exposed Twitter’s bias with an undercover video of an employee admitting they censored conservatives, which Musk intends to correct.

In April, Agrawal handled employee anger during a company-wide meeting where staff demanded answers to how managers planned to manage a potential mass exodus prompted by Musk’s takeover.

Earlier this month, Musk indicated he might back out of his deal to buy Twitter if it failed to deliver data showing the number of spam or fake accounts on the platform. Twitter’s leadership claims spam and fake accounts make up less than 5% of the platform’s users, but Musk believes the figure is much higher.
