POTD: The K9 Sniper – Do NOT Pet!

Today’s location is the Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We see U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Jordan Courtney, 378th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron K9 handler, training with Mirco, her military working dog.

The Prince Sultan Air Base is a military air base located in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was built during the Gulf War in the 1990s and is one of the largest air bases in the region. It serves as a key hub for the Saudi Arabian Air Force and is also used by the United States and its allies for military operations in the Middle East. The air base is named after Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who served as the Crown Prince, Defense Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.
