POTD: Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry Mentor Ukrainian Forces

Photo Of The Day and we have some images from the Canadian CF Combat Camera group. We see soldiers from Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry mentor Ukrainian recruits during live-fire exercises in the United Kingdom.

Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry is one of the three infantry regiments in the Regular Force of the Canadian Army of the Canadian Armed Forces. The unit was formed in 1914 and is named after Princess Patricia of Connaught, who was the daughter of Canada’s Governor General at the time. There are 2,000 soldiers in the regiment, which is made up of three battalions.

To the best of my knowledge, the firearm is a Type 56 in 7.62×39mm, but you’re welcome to correct me in the comments section.
