POTD: National Guard & Reserve Forces in Live-Fire Battle Drills

Photo Of The Day here at The Firearm Blog with U.S Army Soldiers from Active Duty, National Guard, and Reserve forces conducting live-fire battle drills during the 254th Regional Training Institute’s Infantry Advanced Leaders Course 22-02 on Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey earlier in 2022. The “drone view” above is pretty unusual but works well in my opinion.

The Advanced Leaders Course is a branch-specific course that provides Soldiers selected for promotion to Staff Sgt. an opportunity to enhance leadership, technical skill, tactical expertise and experience needed to lead squad-size units.

It looks like the weather could have been improved upon, but any day at the shooting range – especially with machine gun training – is better than a day at the office. Don’t you agree?
