Noreen Firearms have introduced a pistol version of their single-shot bolt action ULR .50 BMG Rifle and yes, it is also chambered in .50 BMG! Sounds like a wrist breaker, doesn’t it? Well, Noreen Firearms claim that the muzzle brake their ULR .50 BMG Pistol comes with helps to drastically relieve shooter stress, and easily make this pistol an all-day shooter at the range.

The video below proves the company’s claim.
Besides the muzzle brake, the weight of the pistol (16.5 lbs) and the front grip definitely aid in the recoil management too, but it’s still amazing how controllable a .50 BMG pistol can be.
The barrel length of Noreen Firearms ULR .50 BMG Pistol is 16.5″ which should make it possible to turn this pistol into a rifle by adding a stock, without a need to SBR it. The pistol comes with a Timney Sportsman trigger that has an adjustable sear engagement, overtravel and pull weight (2-4 lbs). It also features Picatinny rail sections on top of the receiver and on the bottom portion of the underbarrel receiver extension. The pistol is available in black color or in a camouflage pattern.
Noreen Firearms ULR .50 BMG Pistol has an MSRP of $1500 and will be made in limited numbers. These pistols are made to order with a current lead time being eight weeks.
I can’t imagine any application a hand cannon like this can be useful in other than having fun at the range. Maybe it can be used as a howdah pistol for dinosaur hunting? Sidearm for a Ma Deuce operator? CQB anti-materiel gun? Flamethrower? Flashbang? If you can think of an actual practical use for this gat, sound off in the comments section.
