Blazer Brass is generally pretty affordable training ammunition that many people use to train and plink with for fun. As you can probably tell, the new 30 Super Carry cartridge has been getting a lot of attention on the ammunition side and now those who were early adopters of 30 Super Carry pistols will have new CCI Blazer Brass ammunition. Like many other offerings, this new Blazer Brass 30 Super Carry offering will come in a 115-grain FMJ projectile type and is rated for 1150 fps out of a 4-inch barrel.

New CCI Blazer Brass 30 Super Carry Ammunition
The new CCI Blazer Brass will feature reloadable brass cases, standard boxer-type primers, and “primer pockets that make reloading easy.” Blazer Brass is usually favored for its less expensive pricing over other ammunition making it more affordable to train with. The new cartridge will feature a 115-grain Full Metal Jacket flat nosed bullet and will come in 50-round boxes. I can only assume that down the road we will see bulk packs of this stuff coming out as well as is common with Blazer’s ammunition lines.

At the time of writing none of this ammunition is currently in stock on the CCI Ammunition website and I’m not sure if this is due to people picking it up so quickly or if this is just a “soft launch” of the new cartridge offering so that CCI/Blazer can ramp up production to provide the product in sufficient quantities to online customers. According to the press release by CCI Ammunition, if you’re looking for some of this ammo, you should start checking with your local ammunition suppliers for availability.
As always we’d like to hear your thoughts on this new cartridge offering. Does the price of CCI Blazer Brass 30 Super Carry make it appealing enough to train with on a frequent basis? Let us know what you think down in the comments.
