Michigan Democrats moved to expedite new gun control laws in the state following the MSU mass shooting on Monday night.
Shooter Anthony McCrae, the Michigan State murderer may have been a convicted felon previously convicted of breaking gun laws. If so then it was illegal for him to carry a gun.
As Ben Wetmore reported on The Gateway Pundit on Tuesday:
Reporters for a variety of national outlets are camped out on a quiet dead-end street in north Lansing, Michigan, trying to get details of the MSU shooter, reportedly 43-year-old Anthony McRae. McRae killed himself after killing three people at Michigan State University in East Lansing, and seriously injuring five others who are recovering.
McRae lived with his father Michael McRae in a small house on Owens Ave. Michael is a church-going man widowed within the past two years.
Oddly, MSU Shooter Anthony McRae had previously lived in Bear, Delaware, 2.2 miles away from one of the men accused and convicted of ‘kidnapping’ Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Barry Croft. Bear, Delaware is a small rural town in the state with 19,000 residents.

From social media, the shooter was obsessed with exorcisms and his social media profile was filled with such images and imagery. His Facebook account has since been deleted. The shooter worked at a Meijer grocery store warehouse.

Shooter McRae was also potentially a convicted felon from 2019, having been found with a loaded gun in his vehicle, which could have been a sentence of up to five years in state prison. McRae was allowed to plea down to a misdemeanor and serve only probation.

College campuses are ‘gun free zones’ where no one is allowed to carry a weapon, including Michigan State.
Criminals will always break gun laws. Robbing law-abiding citizens from their constitutional rights will not fix the situation.
UPDATE: Killer McRae may not have been a convicted felon but may have been legally prohibited from owning a gun. TGP previously reported that he was a convicted felon. Records are unclear on whether he was legally prohibited from owning a gun but this may be the case.
