RINO Paul Ryan Continues Out of Touch Anti-Trump Diatribe On Varney & Co.

Former Speaker of the House and dedicated RINO Paul Ryan joined Stuart Varney on Varney & Co. Tuesday morning to display, once again, how truly out of touch he is with Republican voters.

During the interview, Ryan displayed how little he understands today’s Republicans and the power of the MAGA movement.

During the interview, Varney asks Ryan, “Is Trump electable in 2024, bearing in mind that you have a history with Mr. Trump.”

Ryan replied, “Bear in mind, yeah, I do have a history….everyone knows I have a history with…everyone knows my….our feelings towards each other I guess I’d say. My point is, we are going to want to win so badly, we’re going to wanna beat Biden and the Democrats in 2024 that we won’t nominate Donald Trump because we want to win.”

“That new swing voter in American politics is the suburban voter, and it’s really clear the suburban voter doesn’t like Trump, but they like Republicans, so I think anybody not named Trump I think is so much more likely to win the White House for us.”

“And it’s sort of like what the Democrats did….they went from Dean to John Kerry in ’04.  They went from Bernie to Hillary on ’16. They went from Bernie and Elizabeth Warren to Joe Biden to win in 2020, I think the same thing is going to be for us. We are going to want to win the White House so badly and beat the Democrats, and we know we’re so much more likely to lose with Trump because of the fact that he is not popular with suburban voters that we’ll want to win.”

“And that’s why I think we have a stable of great candidates, any of whom are really capable, of not just getting the nomination, but winning the general election.”

Varney pressed Ryan, “Are you a DeSantis guy?”

Ryan,”I like all of them…look I’m not one of these things…I like Ron, I like Glenn Youngkin, I like Mike Pompeo, Nikki Hailey, Mike Pence, you name it. Any one of these candidates would make a fine president and wine the White House…and why would we want to risk giving the nomination to someone that we know—we haven’t lost…my party hasn’t lost this much this fast than we have with Trump. We lost the House, the Senate and the White House in a span of two years. I don’t want to repeat that, and I want to win. And that’s why I think we are going to nominate somebody that can win.”

Ryan went on to discuss the GOP prospects for a Red Wave in the November election.  While touting his belief that Republicans will take back the House and Senate, he somehow failed to acknowledge the strong GOP candidate pool in the general election is largely due to Trump endorsements that propelled them ahead of RINO Ryan-type candidates in the primary.

Trump’s success rate for endorsing candidates in the 2022 primaries  is more than 90 percent.

Clueless.
