Fans left Halsey’s concert in protest after her controversial pro-abortion speech during her “Love and Power Tour” concert in Phoenix, Arizona, last weekend.

Halsey, a Grammy-winning artist whose real name is Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, spoke out against the Supreme Court’s recent decision to overturn Roe v. Wade during her concert.

According to Billboard, the 27-year-old singer and activist urged her fans to be politically involved in the topic.

“Here in Arizona, you guys got to promise me that you’re gonna do that work so that the person to the left of you and to the right of you has that right for the rest of their lives,” Halsey said.

Many of her fans were angered by Halsey’s statement. She also said on stage that they might leave the performance if they disagreed with her.

“If you don’t like it, you can go home right now — I don’t care.”

“If you don’t like it, I don’t know why you came to a Halsey concert because I’ve never been shy that this is how I feel,” she continued before chanting, “My body!”

A Twitter user said that a large number of people left Halsey’s concert after she delivered a statement on the “right” to abortion.

Halsey, who goes by she/they pronouns, addressed the fans who left her show in Arizona, saying, “downside of doing outdoor venues: no door to hit them on the way out.”

She also tweeted that people lack the critical thinking to understand that music’s rhetorical power doesn’t always serve escapism.

The woke singer did the same thing on her show in Texas and gave a speech for reproductive rights.

Halsey then wrote an article in Vogue where she claimed that she had suffered three miscarriages in the past.

She then said something ridiculous about how her abortion gave way to her son.

That’s gross.

“My abortion saved my life and gave way for my son to have his. Every person deserves the right to choose when, if, and how they have this dangerous and life-altering experience. I will hold my son in one arm, and fight with all my might with the other,” she wrote.
