This week gas prices have reached new record highs, with the average price at the pump reaching $4.97 per gallon Thursday, something that Senator John Kennedy is not willing to overlook.
On Tuesday, the Louisiana Senator took a swipe at Biden and the economy, expressing his comical response to the surging fuel cost across the nation while appearing on Fox News’s Jesse Watters Primetime.
During his interview on the show, Kennedy said, “The price of gas is so high that it would be cheaper to buy cocaine and just run everywhere— Biden is about as popular as a SINKHOLE.”
The average price for a gallon of regular gas in the United States is the highest recorded average in the nation’s history, almost $2.50 higher than the average price a year ago.
According to analysts, the current cost of a gram of cocaine is about $96, which allows an addict to hit the drug about 25 times per gram, potentially a better “mileage” per dollar than the current economics of gasoline.
