Marxist Los Angeles DA George Gascón will NOT Bring Felony Charges Against Knife-Wielding Man Who Attacked Dave Chappelle

Soros-backed Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón will not bring felony charges against the knife-wielding man who attacked comedian Dave Chappelle at the Hollywood Bowl.

As TGP’s Kristinn Taylor reported, Dave Chappelle was attacked on stage Tuesday night during a performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles at the Netflix Is a Joke Fest. A man rushed the stage and lunged at Chappelle in an effort to take him down.

According to TMZ, the attacker was armed with a replica handgun with a knife attached.

“Law enforcement tells TMZ, the attacker actually pointed the gun at Chapelle as he rushed him. We’re told the gun was not real, it was a replica of a semi-automatic. It also weirdly had a knife attached to the gun…We’re told Dave was ok but the attacker was injured and taken by stretcher to an ambulance. We’re told he’s currently in the hospital. LAPD sources tell us, the man was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.”

The Soros DA will not pursue felony charges against 23-year-old Isaiah Lee.

“After reviewing the evidence, prosecutors determined that while criminal conduct occurred, the evidence as presented did not constitute felony conduct,” the DA’s office said in a statement. “The District Attorney’s Office does not prosecute misdemeanor crimes within the city of Los Angeles.”
