Broward County School Board Joins with Elections Supervisor to Launch Voter Registration Drive for 16-Year-Olds Who Are Ineligible to Vote

Broward County Supervisor of Elections Joe Scott launched his High School Voter Registration Drive this month.

With the help of Joe Scott, Broward County Supervisor of Elections, the Broward County School Board is seeking 16-18 High School students to register to vote.

The Broward County Elections twitter page is promoting the early registration for 16-year-olds. The 16-year-olds are not eligible to vote for two years.

Why not just sign them up when they’re 14 or 12?
