Pelosi Tells Boebert and Greene to ‘Shut Up’ — Boebert Responds

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters that Reps. Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene should “shut up” in response to their heckling at Joe Biden’s State of the Union address.

Pelosi quoted the reaction from Sen. Lindsey Graham, who reportedly told them to “shut up” at the time.

“Let me just say this. I agree with what Sen. Lindsey Graham said: ‘Shut up.’ That’s what he said to them. I think they should just shut up,” Pelosi said at a press conference on Thursday.

While Biden was discussing veterans getting cancer from being exposed to toxic burn pits, Boebert had shouted that he put U.S. service members in coffins, referring to the soldiers killed during his botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

“…A cancer that would put them in a flag-draped coffin,” he said.

“You put them in, 13 of them!” Boebert shouted.

Boebert remains unapologetic for calling him out.

“When Biden said flag draped coffins I couldn’t stay silent. I told him directly he did it. He put 13 in there. Our heroic servicemen and women deserve so much better,” Boebert tweeted that evening.

Boebert also replied to Pelosi’s press conference, declaring that she will not “shut up.”

Boebert and Greene also shouted “build the wall” while he discussed border security.

Pelosi did not say if there will be a push for formal sanctions against the America First lawmakers.
