Nigerian Study Shows The Use of Ivermectin Alone to Treat COVID-19 is as Effective as Using Hydroxychloroquine, Azithromycin, and Ivermectin Combined

A recent study in Nigeria shows that using Ivermectin-only (IVM) to treat COVID-19 patients is equally as effective as using the HIA triple therapy (Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, and Azithromycin Combination) in all inflammatory, virological, and respiratory endpoints.

This study was set up to compare Ivermectin with Ivermectin plus HCQ+IVM (HIA).

The study design was a single-blind, randomized, parallel-group study of 2 groups of COVID-19-positive Nigerian patients with 30/31 subjects in each treatment arm.

Thirty patients received ivermectin 200 mcg/kg daily for five days and thirty-one patients received HIA triple therapy. What referred to us HIA triple therapy is the use of Hydroxychloroquine 200mg per day for three days, Ivermectin 200mcg/kg daily for five days, Azithromycin 500mg per day for three days. None of the patients had been vaccinated.

This was a relatively small sample size but it found that both therapies showed significant reductions in inflammation.

The ecacy of ivermectin (IVM) against SARS-CoV-2 has been demonstrated in vitro, while several clinical studies suggest that it is ecacious and safe in reducing morbidity and mortality. Hydroxychloroquine HCQ, IVM and azithromycin AZM (HIA therapy) are being used in several low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) where more expensive medications such as remdesivir are out of reach. In this study, we set out to compare the ecacy of IVM monotherapy with HIA combination therapy.

Methods: This was a single-blind, randomized control trial of 2 parallel groups of COVID-19-positive Nigerians. Thirty patients received ivermectin 200 mcg/kg daily for ve days, while 31 patients received HIA triple therapy. The viral cycle threshold (Ct) at pretreatment baseline and days 2, 5 14 and 21 were measured for the E- and N-genes. SPO2 was assessed on a daily basis, while inammatory markers erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C-reactive protein, and D-dimer and neutrophil/lymphocyte ratios (NLRs) were assessed at baseline and day 7. Clinical status was self-assessed daily on a Likert scale.

Results: Two-way repeated measures analysis of variance (RAMOVA) did not show any difference between the two groups. However, there was a signicant time effect (improvement over time) for SPO2, Ct N-gene, Ct E-gene and clinical status in both groups and signicant reductions in inammatory markers by day 7. (P<0.0001).

Conclusions: AZT + HCQ may be a redundant adjuvant in COVID-19 therapy. Improvements noted are likely due in large part to ivermectin virucidal and anti-inammatory actions.

DISCUSSION:

The clinical, virological, inflammatory, and respiratory (SPO2%) comparative assessments, which are hard end points of our randomized controlled study, did not show a significant difference between IVM monotherapy and HIA triple therapy in RT-PCR-positive COVID-19 patients. This finding indicates that a combination of AZT + HCQ did not confer any additive benefit to IVM in virucidal action against SARS-Cov-2. The results, however, confirm and extend our earlier results on the anti-SARS-CoV-2 efficacy of ivermectin alone4.

In this study, we demonstrate further that ivermectin alone or with HIA rapidly increased the cycle time (Ct) of the N-gene (nucleocapsid) and the E-gene (envelope) of SARS-CoV-2 and achieved significant COVID negativity on day 7 on RAMOVA (see Figures 3 and 4).

IVM and HIA were both associated with significantly reduced pro-inflammatory markers CRP, ESR and D-dimer (Figures 6–8), indicative of antithrombotic and cytokine reduction effects of ivermectin via STAT-3 inhibition, as we have previously suggested4.

Possible side effects of ivermectin: As noted above, there was an overall decrease in the number of complaints by day 5. This suggests that the dose of ivermectin used in this study is safe and efficacious.

In conclusion, there was no significant treatment difference between IVM monotherapy and HIA triple therapy, thus suggesting that AZT + HCQ may be a redundant adjuvant in COVID-19 therapy in Nigerians and elsewhere. There was a highly significant time effect (P< 0.0001 RAMOVA), indicating that the improvements in SARS-CoV-2 N and E-gene Ct, as well as the SPO2%, are likely due in large part to ivermectin virucidal and anti-inflammatory actions.

Hypothesis:

Null hypothesis (H0): A combination of ivermectin and HCQ+A is not more ecacious in the treatment of patients with virology-proven COVID-19 disease than ivermectin alone.

Alternative Hypothesis (Ha): A combination of ivermectin and HCQ is more ecacious in the treatment of patients with virology-proven COVID-19 disease.

The latest lefty to succumb to the false assurances from Biden and his team of medical mediocrities is Academy Award Nominee and Emmy Award-winning hair and makeup designer/stylist, Marc Elliot Pilcher. He was only 53.

He was not grotesquely obese nor, according to the NY Post, afflicted with the co-morbidities that have been fatal to hundreds of thousands.  Was it the maskless Emmy Ceremony that he attended recently that did him in (See Cristina’s post here)? The initial reports of his death by Covid were mute about his vaccination status. Now we know. A guy with two vaccines still got Covid – and then died.

That is not how a genuine vaccine is supposed to work. If you take the vaccine for measles, polio or smallpox you do not get measles, polio or smallpox. But the number of people getting Covid notwithstanding having a couple of jabs is growing and it is alarming.

Pilcher’s death should not be treated as a statistical anomaly. Just look at the recent stories posted at Gateway Pundit highlighting the death or serious illness of vaccinated people:

Israel and the UK, two of the countries with the greatest percent of vaccinated citizens, are battling a new wave of Covid infections. Most of these new cases are people with jabs.

Contrast what is happening in the UK and Israel with India. Only 18.2% of Indians are fully vaccinated. But India has not been ravaged by a new wave of Covid infections. One of the big reasons is the widespread use of Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine. India is not known for great sanitation, clean drinking water or social distancing. The VAERS data is a flashing red light that should alarm health care professionals (VAERS is the acronym for Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System)

  • Almost two times as many people have died from Covid affects world wide in the last eleven months as died from all other vaccines in the 31 years that VAERS data has been collected (14,925 vs 9,001).
  • There have been 701,561 adverse reactions to the COVID vaccines in eleven months. All other vaccines combined since 1990 reported 820,671.

You can no longer trust U.S. Government health care “experts” to tell the truth about the vaccines. How many deaths from an adverse reaction must we toll until the political leaders come out of their self-induced coma and start dealing with actual science? My wife and I are firm–no more jabs.

Back in May 2017 The Gateway Pundit first reported on the 2017 David Brock Media Matters Playbook that was accidentally discovered and leaked online.

The Soros-funded Media Matters revealed in their post-election playbook that they have access to the raw data of numerous social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Google.
They also admitted they have the connections and power to influence their understanding on what is and isn’t “fake news.”
Then they went to work.

Inside the 2017 playbook Media Matters admitted they  already secured access to raw data from the tech giants.  For some reason Republicans ignored this.  

“Media Matters has already secured access to raw data from Facebook, Twitter, and other social media sites. We have also put in place the technology necessary to automatically mine white nationalist message boards and alt-right communities for our archive.

We will now develop technologies and processes to systematically monitor and analyze this unfiltered data.”

Media Matters goes on to describe how they found a way to manipulate these social media platforms into thinking that they need their help. In fact, the following excerpt from the #BrockGate document speaks to this concern with precision:

“Out lets that push fake news are completely dependent on Facebook to spread their lies, and ad networks like Google to fund them.

Media Matters has unique insight to help fix the problems in this part of the media landscape.

After Facebook responded to our campaign by acknowledging the problem of fake news and agreeing to do something about it, we began a dialogue. It became clear form these conversations that Facebook needed our help in fully understanding the problem and identifying concrete solutions. Further, it also became clear that we had information and insight that they didn’t have that was helpful in educating them on the full scope of the problem. For example, Media Matters had a detailed map of the constellation of right-wing Facebook pages that had been the biggest purveyors of fake news – as well as insight into the food chain of fake news and how it was moving through the Facebook ecosystem.

Similarly, after Google revised their terms of service in order to prohibit so-called fake news sites from using their advertising network, it was Media Matters that had the information necessary to identify 40 of the worst fake news sites to which this policy applied.”

Facebook then went to work against the top Pro-Trump websites on the internet with tremendous success.

GOP leaders are oblivious to this fact TO THIS DAY — That the tech giants, with guidance from far-left groups,  eliminated much of the conservative content online today.

In February of 2018 Facebook launched a new algorithm to ensure that conservative news would not spread on their social media platform.

The algorithm change caused President Donald Trump’s engagement on Facebook posts to plummet a whopping 45%.

In contrast, Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) and Bernie Sanders (I-VT) did not appear to have suffered a comparable decline in Facebook engagement.

Top conservative Facebook pages with daily traffic in the millions saw 75% to 95% drop in traffic since the 2016 election.

Many of these top conservative and Pro-Trump Facebook pages from 2016 ARE GONE today.  The rest were censored and had their traffic decimated.

Many of these websites shut down. This is what the left wanted.  It was part of their plan.

Facebook uses Soros-funded Poynter to fact-check on their platform — The same group that listed EVERY prominent conservative publisher as fake news.

Facebook has been shutting down traffic to conservative websites since the 2016 election.

In March 2017 Columbia Journalism Review published a study of the 2016 election that found conservatives had abandoned the liberal mainstream media in 2016 and went online and to social media to get their news.

Harvard University published a similar study months later.

After this study was published Facebook went to work and started censoring conservative content through a series of algorithm changes.

By the Summer 2018 this is what the Facebook influence map looked like.

Facebook was on a mission to delete traffic to conservative websites.

Most prominent conservative publishers from the November 2016 election were hit hard or eliminated.

This is something President Trump’s former campaign manager Brad Parscale and the Republicans never took seriously.

Facebook with the guidance of far-left groups wiped out President Trump’s top supporters on their platform.  They did this years ago and got away with it.

Today the top conservative influencers with millions of page views-a-day are gone.  And Republicans did nothing.

Pastor Marva Peschier of Trinidad and Tobago mourned the loss of her son who died after taking the COVID-19 shot. She already lost another son before.

According to Pastor Peschier, her son took the vaccine on September 17th.  He then suffered a massive stroke and experienced an internal hemorrhage of the brain on the same day.  Her son was rushed to Mt. Hope Hospital and was pronounced dead on September 18th.

On September 18, Pastor Peschier took a live video on Facebook and expressed her outrage. Facebook has taken down the video on its platform.

According to a report, health officials decided to meet up with pastor Marva Peschier after her viral video.

Health officials will be meeting with pastor Marva Peschier this week after the woman went live on Facebook and declared that her son died days after being vaccinated against COVID-19.

Commenting on the matter, Chief Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram said there was a similar incident at a Regional Health Authority (RHA) which he was careful not to identify.

He said the clinicians sent a preliminary investigative report and further noted that they were instructed to meet with the family and disclose the findings.

Dr Parasram went on to state that a final report will be handed over to him and then Minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh.

Peschier went on to urge government officials to stop vaccinating members of the public against the viral contagion.

However, it has not been confirmed that the vaccine caused or contributed to the cause of death.

In one of the more egregious poaching cases in recent years, two Arkansas game wardens arrested five poachers after a troubling discovery at a suspected poacher’s home: A garden of some-30 buried deer skulls and heads from illegally-taken whitetails. The bizarre “Garden of Skulls” poaching case was closed in 2016, but it was not widely publicized at the time. The Arkansas Game and Fish released details on the case last week as reminder to helpful citizens that reporting suspicious activity to your state’s poaching hotlines can help catch poachers, even if those tips don’t produce immediate results.

Such was the case with residents near Jonesboro, Arkansas, who filed numerous complaints ahead of the bust. Sgt. Jeff Dalton and Cpl. Bret Ditto of the AGFC had fielded reports from all over Craighead County, including complaints of shots fired in the night, unknown or suspicious vehicles, and out-of-season kills. Deer carcasses or parts of deer were being left in fields and ditches. As the complaints intensified and remains of dead deer continued to turn up, the officers concluded that a poaching ring was to blame. A break in the case came when officials received a tip about multiple heads and antlers in stacks of tires at one suspect’s home. Dalton and Ditto obtained search warrants and called on their fellow wildlife officers to help them conduct a search of the property.

As with most poaching cases, a call from a concerned citizen finally gave officers the break they needed to make a case that would stop most of the night-hunting issues in this poaching case. AGFC

During the course of the next few days of interrogations, searches, and evidence seizure, the game wardens discovered what they described as a garden of skulls by one of the suspect’s residence. According to the AGFC, “all of the deer heads were neatly ‘planted’ in a row with antlers protruding from the ground.” Officials suspected the poachers responsible were trying to use a low-maintenance method of making European mounts by burying fresh skulls and allowing insects and bacteria to pick the skulls clean. In all, 30 deer heads and portions of poached turkeys were recovered. Officers also discovered the talons of an owl and hawk, which are illegal to possess.

Other items confiscated as evidence included 14 guns, three bows, and night-vision goggles. Ultimately, five suspects pleaded guilty to 122 charges including night hunting, deer hunting out of season, turkey hunting out of season, over limit of deer, hunting from a public road, prohibited methods for taking turkey, taking of raptors, big game checking requirement, big game tagging requirement, and an aiding and abetting a violation. Each man received $11,250 in fines, six years of hunting and fishing license suspensions, two years of probation, and 160 hours of community service. The court also ordered all individuals to successfully complete a hunter education course.

“This time of year we get a high increase in night hunting cases,” says Randy Zellers, AGFC’s assistant chief of communications. Zellers noted that the “Garden of Skulls” poaching case was never widely publicized in 2016, but that it’s a good example of why poaching tips are so important. Diligent reporting of suspicious hunting activity can help game wardens identify a pattern of illegal behavior and attempt to catch the offenders in the act of poaching, such as by staking out a robotic deer decoy.

“Someone calls about a night-hunting case and a wildlife officer comes out there an hour later, when it’s too late. So people get discouraged and don’t report again,” Zellers says. “But even if it’s too late that time, it’s one more record that our guys have to work with.”

In fact, the FBI recently admitted that they don’t keep track of violence from the radical left.

During the misnamed “Summer of Love,” riots, looting, vandalism, and political violence was carried out by radical leftists under the (often literal) Antifa and Black Lives Matter banners. The violent leftists besieged federal property, private businesses, law enforcement, and private citizens with costly, deadly, and devastating outcomes.

Joe Biden and other Democrats turned a blind eye to the violence for political reasons in a stunning show of hypocritical double standards. In too many cases, Democrats even encouraged more leftist violence. As it turns out, the Federal Bureau of Investigation turned a blind eye to those carrying out the riots and looting too.

In a congressional hearing last week titled “Confronting Violent White Supremacy (Part VI): Examining the Biden Administration’s Counterterrorism Strategy,” FBI Assistant Director of Counterterrorism Timothy Langan said that the Bureau doesn’t consider Antifa to be an “organization,” and as such does not have specific information on the group’s activities.

New York’s largest healthcare provider, Northwell Health, fired 1,400 workers for refusing to get the Covid jab on Monday.

We’re in the middle of a ‘historic pandemic’ and the Marxists are firing healthcare workers in record numbers.

“Our goal was not to terminate employees,” Northwell Health spox Joe Kemp said. “Our goal was to get people vaccinated.”

Reuters reported:

New York State’s largest healthcare provider, Northwell Health, has fired 1,400 employees who refused to get COVID-19 vaccinations, according to a spokesman, Joe Kemp.

As with other healthcare companies that have recently terminated workers for not complying with vaccine mandates, the fired employees represent a small percentage of Northwell’s workforce of more than 76,000, all of whom are now inoculated.

Northwell announced its vaccine mandate in August, weeks before the state requirement. The company’s mandate extended to both clinical and non-clinical workers.

Kemp said the terminations will have no impact on patient care at Northwell’s 23 hospitals and other facilities.

Anti-vaccine mandate protesters marched through New York City on Monday.

The protesters chanted “F*ck Joe Biden and De Blasio!” and “My body, my choice!” as they crossed the Brooklyn Bridge.

The Biden Regime is targeting political opponents and using the might of the federal government to abolish the First Amendment by classifying dissent as “domestic terrorism.”

US Attorney General Merrick Garland has instructed the FBI to mobilize against parents who oppose Critical Race Theory (CRT) and Covid mandates, citing ‘threats.’

Merrick Garland’s letter to the FBI follows the National School Board Association’s request to classify protests as “domestic terrorism.”

“Threats against public servants are not only illegal, they run counter to our nation’s core values,” wrote Attorney General Garland. “Those who dedicate their time and energy to ensuring that our children receive a proper education in a safe environment deserve to be able to do their work without fear for their safety.”

Curiously, Garland’s letter didn’t actually specify any credible threats.

“Citing an increase in harassment, intimidation and threats of violence against school board members, teachers and workers in our nation’s public schools, today Attorney General Merrick B. Garland directed the FBI and U.S. Attorneys’ Offices to meet in the next 30 days with federal, state, Tribal, territorial and local law enforcement leaders to discuss strategies for addressing this disturbing trend. These sessions will open dedicated lines of communication for threat reporting, assessment and response by law enforcement.” the DOJ’s press release read.

The DOJ will be creating a task force “consisting of representatives from the department’s Criminal Division, National Security Division, Civil Rights Division, the Executive Office for U.S. Attorneys, the FBI, the Community Relations Service and the Office of Justice Programs, to determine how federal enforcement tools can be used to prosecute these crimes…”

This ambush was reminiscent of prior episodes.
A few years back, the left needed a Senate vote to prevent Brett Kavanaugh from being confirmed to the Supreme Court so they organized George Soros connected insurrectionists to invade the US Capitol and to ambush GOP Senator Jeff Flake on an elevator.

This past weekend the left needed another US Senate vote, so they ambushed a different Arizona Senator, this time Senator Kyrsten Sinema, who was ambushed Arizons State University on her way to the bathroom.

Only one day later and we now know who was behind it. The Daily Mail reported:

An activist who filmed herself heckling moderate Democrat Senator Kyrsten Sinema as Sinema used a bathroom at Arizona State University has defended her actions in a Facebook rant, saying that she would not allow the ‘tone police’ to criticize her.

‘I will speak about the controversy regarding following Senator Sinema into the bathroom when I have the time. None of you have the right to tone police my desperate demands for labor protections after what I have endured as a human trafficking survivor due to the f**ked up gig economy,’ Sophia Marjanovic said in a Facebook post, FOX reported.

Marjanovic was in the group of activists who filmed the Arizona Sen. inside a bathroom in ASU, where she teaches, even recording while the lawmaker was using a private stall.

Apparently, the actions of those harassing the Arizona Senator may have been illegal:

It also appears that the instigators of the Sinema attack are connected to George Soros. 

Breitbart reports:

On Saturday, Sinema was hounded and followed by illegal alien activists with the group Living United for Change in Arizona (LUCHA), demanding amnesty for the 11 to 22 million illegal aliens living in the United States.

LUCHA is listed as a partner of the Center for Popular Democracy which is funded to the sum of millions of dollars every year by Soros’s Open Society Foundation.

In 2019, alone, the LUCHA-tied Center for Popular Democracy was granted nearly $2.3 million from Soros’s Open Society Foundation. In 2018, the Soros organization spent more than $2.1 million on grants funding projects for the Center for Popular Democracy.

Not a surprise – the Soros hacks are out in force to promote the massively destructive Democrat spending bill.
