POTD: Special Forces at Melrose Air Force Range

Photo Of The Day: Photojournalism is the process of storytelling using the medium of photography as your main storytelling device. While a journalist will use their pen and paper to tell stories, a photojournalist will use their camera to capture the visual representation of a story. Above you see a special forces unit member as he provides coverage during an exercise at Melrose Air Force Range, N.M. This happened ten years ago, in 2012, but some photos age well. The range is one of Air Force Special Operations Command’s premier training facilities and is utilized by multiple agencies and branches of the armed forces.
