101 police officers have been shot across the country so far this year. That’s a 43% increase over last year.

The left declared war on the police and law and order back in 2020. The Democrats called to defund police in city after city and they got their wish.

Now we are seeing the fruits of their efforts.

FOX News reported:

The National Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), the world’s largest organization of law enforcement officers, has counted 101 officers shot in the line of duty as of April 1, including 17 fatally, so far in 2022.

The latest figure marks a 43% increase compared to the number of officers shot at the same time period in 2021 and a 63% increase compared to 2020, FOP reports.

“We are in the midst of a real crisis. The violence directed at law enforcement officers is unlike anything I’ve seen in my 36 years of law enforcement,” National FOP President Patrick Yoes said in a Friday statement. “Last year was one of the most dangerous years for law enforcement, with more officers shot in the line of duty since the National Fraternal Order of Police began recording this data.”

Mark Wahlberg and Mel Gibson are out with a new movie this week, “Father Stu”.

Former NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio attempted to terminate the Trump Organization’s contract to run the Ferry Point Golf Course.

He cited January 6th as the reason for the cancellation — saying that the golf course’s image was tarnished as a result.

Mayor Bill de Blasio today announced that the City of New York is taking steps to terminate three Trump Organization agreements with the City after last week’s deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.

The Administration will be notifying the Trump Organization that the City will begin the process to cancel its agreements to operate the Central Park Carousel, Wollman and Lasker skating rinks, and Ferry Point Golf Course in accordance with the steps outlined in the contracts.

“The President incited a rebellion against the United States government that killed five people and threatened to derail the constitutional transfer of power,” said Mayor Bill de Blasio. “The City of New York will not be associated with those unforgivable acts in any shape, way or form, and we are immediately taking steps to terminate all Trump Organization contracts.”

A judge in New York just ruled that the contract was canceled illegally.

Eric Trump blasted De Blasio for canceling the contract, saying “De Blasio did this for his own political theater.”

The New York Post reported:

A state Supreme Court judge ruled Friday that the city did not have the right to cancel Trump’s contract to run the Ferry Point Golf Course. Mayor Bill de Blasio had nixed the deal after the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot, arguing that Trump would not be able to attract golf tournaments.

In her decision and order filed on Friday, Justice Debra James said there was nothing in the contract that required a tournament — only that the city would share in any proceeds. That means either Trump gets to continue to run the course, or the city needs to pay him to leave. Trump’s son Eric said they’ll stay.

“The judge didn’t buy their nonsense and this is a well-reasoned and appropriate decision and we look forward to running the best golf course for years to come,” Eric Trump said.

The incident occurred after Jorge Torrico, a member of the TJ Alumni Action Group attended a TJ PTSA meeting. Jorge interacted with the student government president, a high school senior during the meeting. After the meeting, Jackson took to Twitter and accused him of grooming behavior. Jackson’s lawyer Marina Melvin wrote this about the case:

Harry Jackson is being unconstitutionally prosecuted for the allegedly offensive content of his tweets and a YouTube video – criminal persecution in violation of Dr. Jackson’s First Amendment rights. Dr. Jackson is accused of voicing concerns about an adult who sought to spend time alone with minors at a local school.

Jackson was facing four Class 3 Misdemeanor charges over the accusation. Now this: the motion to dismiss the case with prejudice was granted:

The judge did not reach the constitutional issues of the statute that was used to charge the “grooming” words.
