The Trump Organization can keep running a public golf course in the Bronx, a judge ruled Friday, saying New York City offered a baseless rationale for canceling the Trump Organization’s contract to run the course after the Capitol Riot on January 6.
The ruling sends the matter back to the city ‘for further proceedings.’ It wasn’t immediately clear what those might be; a request for comment was sent to city officials.
The Trump Organization declared the Ferry Points Links decision a victory for the company and ‘a win for justice’ and New Yorkers.
In a statement to DailyMail.com, a spokesman said: ‘We would like to thank the court for its well-reasoned decision based on law and facts. As we have said since the beginning, the City’s efforts to terminate our long term license agreement to operate Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point Park were nothing more than a political vendetta.
‘Former Mayor Bill de Blasio used his position to weaponize the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation and the New York City Law Department all in an effort to advance his own partisan agenda, score political points and interfere with free enterprise.
Like a good communist, de Blasio cancelled all contracts with President Trump’s businesses in January 2021 after baseless claims about the President being involved in violence at the Capitol on Jan 6. We reported on the former mayor at the time.

Daily Beast, The Atlantic, Rolling Stone and NBC contributor Thor Benson bragged on Twitter last night after he harassed an Asian man at a bar in New Orleans.
Thor Benson thought the Asian-looking man was Andy Ngo. So he went up and told him he was a “garbage person.”
Thor Benson, a writer for a variety of left-wing media outlets, including The Daily Beast, The Atlantic, Rolling Stone, NBC News, and Business Insider, mistakenly believed he had encountered The Post Millennial‘seditor-at-large Andy Ngo in a bar in New Orleans and harassed the Asian man until he left.
“I just ran into Andy Ngo at a bar in New Orleans,” Benson reported to Twitter. “I politely told him he’s a ‘garbage person.’ Lol.” The man was not Andy Ngo.
Ngo, a Portland, Oregon, native, was not even in New Orleans, nor Louisiana, at the time Benson approached the stranger and harassed him until he left.
Ngo reached out on Twitter to ask The Daily Beast‘s editor-in-chief Tracy Connor if she supports their contributor harassing strangers in bars simply because that contributor mistakes them for someone else. Connor also could not answer the question of whether or not she thinks Benson would have been correct to harass the man had he been Ngo.

There’s more to the verdicts yesterday in the FBI’s alleged plot to carry out a kidnapping of Michigan Governor Whitmer. Much more…
TGP reported yesterday on the verdicts in the Whitmer kidnapping case in Michigan. Of the four defendants, two were found not guilty and the other two had a hung jury.
The Governor Whitmer kidnapping case, which we now know was comprised of virtually all FBI agents and informants took another devastating hit in August. Michael Hills, an attorney for Brandon Caserta, one of the six defendants, produced text messages showing an FBI field agent telling an informant to lie, frame an innocent man and delete text messages.
This is why federal prosecutors are refusing to hand over text messages and laptops from FBI informants in the Whitmer kidnapping case. The FBI actually hatched the plot. paid for the plot, ran the plot, and set up the innocent men in their immoral scheme.
The FBI’s top informant behind the kidnapping scam was later arrested after he beat his wife following a swingers party.
We now know that the not gulity verdicts came despite the judge not allowing much of the evidence that would exonerate those charged. For example, we now know that 6 defense witnesses weren’t allowed to testify. In addition, shenanigans by the FBI were never admitted into the trial. Despite this the jury saw through this for what it was — a set-up by the FBI on innocent Americans.
The split verdict calls into question the Justice Department’s strategy, and beyond that, its entire approach to combating domestic extremism. Defense attorneys in the case, along with observers from across the political spectrum, have argued the FBI’s efforts to make the case, which involved at least a dozen confidential informants, went beyond legitimate law enforcement and into outright entrapment..
…But the most striking thing about the closely watched 15-day trial might be what the jury never got to see.
Both before and during the trial, prosecutors went to extraordinary lengths to exclude evidence and witnesses that might undermine their arguments, while winning the right to bring in almost anything favorable to their own side. As a result, defense attorneys were largely reduced to nibbling at the edges of the government’s case in hopes of instilling doubt in the jurors’ minds, and to making claims about official misconduct with vanishingly few pieces of evidence to support them.
Over and over during the course of the trial, the prosecution objected to any attempts by defendants to provide context for the often shocking soundbites and text messages shown in court — objections sustained by a judge who agreed that such material risked confusing the jury.
The result was, at least from the defense’s point of view, a stunningly one-sided presentation that left the preponderance of evidence out of court and gave jurors precious little to balance against the Justice Department’s claims…
…Whether they crossed the sharply defined line into entrapment is a matter of legal definitions. But the tactics employed by the FBI to develop its case against the defendants — despite the Justice Department’s best efforts to keep those tactics secret — conform to a growing popular conception of government overreach.
Today most Americans are aware that the FBI is biased and will set you up in an effort to arrest you for crimes you never committed.
According to the DOJ, 24-year-old Sterling Carter has plead guilty to stealing public funds.
Carter managed the payroll for Dem Congressman Brad Schneider’s office and used his position to inflate his own salary.
According to case documents “between November 2019 and January 21, 2021, in the District of Columbia, CARTER fraudulently filled out, signed, and submitted unauthorized [bonus pay forms] causing [the House of Representatives Office of Payroll and Benefits] to pay CARTER approximately $80,491.67 in unauthorized payments.”
Schneider’s office says Carter was let go on January 13th, 2021.
A former Capitol Hill staffer who served under Rep. Brad Schneider (D-Ill.) has pled guilty for fraudulently stealing around $80,000 from the federal government.
The staffer, 24-year-old Sterling Carter, “pleaded guilty today to theft of public funds in connection with his scheme to fraudulently inflate his salary and bonus payments, thereby paying himself more than he was legitimately owed,” the Department of Justice (DOJ) said in a press release.
According to the DOJ, Carter was responsible for managing the payroll in Schneider’s office, and he used that position to give himself unauthorized payouts from public funds.
Idaho Supreme Court temporarily blocked on Friday the implementation of a recently signed Texas-style bill that outlaws abortions after six weeks of pregnancy.
Last month, Idaho Governor Brad Little (R) signed a bill that prohibits abortions after six weeks of pregnancy and is set to go into effect on April 22. The new bill was modeled after the Texas “heartbeat” abortion law.
Idaho Supreme Court Chief Justice G. Richard Bevan granted a motion to reconsider in response to a petition filed by Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawaii, Alaska, Indiana, and Kentucky.
Why it matters: The law, which was signed in March and set to go into effect on April 22, will not be enforced while the court considers the case. The legislation was modeled after Texas’ six-week abortion ban, which encourages private citizens to sue any health professional who has provided an abortion.
Details: Idaho’s law does make exceptions for cases of rape or incest, but a person must have reported it to law enforcement and shown a police report to the abortion provider to qualify for an exception.
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins died Saturday morning after he was struck by a dump truck in South Florida.
He was 24 years old.
“I am devastated and at a loss for words with the unfortunate passing of Dwayne Haskins,” Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said in a statement. “He quickly became part of our Steelers family upon his arrival in Pittsburgh and was one of our hardest workers, both on the field and in our community. Dwayne was a great teammate, but even more so a tremendous friend to so many. I am truly heartbroken.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Kalabrya, and his entire family during this difficult time.”
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins died early Saturday morning after he was struck by a dump truck while he was walking on a South Florida highway. Haskins was 24 years old.
Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson Lt. Indiana Miranda said Haskins was pronounced dead at the scene.
“He was attempting to cross the westbound lanes of Interstate 595 when there was oncoming traffic,” Miranda said in an emailed statement.
She didn’t say why Haskins was on the highway at the time. The accident caused the highway to be shut down for several hours, and Miranda said it’s “an open traffic homicide investigation.”
Haskins was training in South Florida with other Steelers quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers.
The Gateway Pundit’s Joe Hoft was on Italian television live on Canale Italia on Friday evening. He responded to questions involving Joe Biden and Ukraine from an American conservative point of view.
Joe Hoft from the Gateway Pundit was on Italian TV on Friday night. He provided the following responses to questions being raised.
In response to what Americans think about Joe Biden, Joe responded at about the 15:00 mark in the video below:
Joe Biden’s popularity is really one of the lowest in recorded history. He’s not well liked in the United States at all at this time. There’s various reasons for that. We had an election which many people believe, I believe a majority of Americans believe was stolen by Joe Biden.
Then his policies have been destructive to America. We’ve got a border in the South, along the Texas border that’s wide open. We’ve got Afghanistan where we gave $84 billion to the Taliban, this evil group there that bombed us on 9-11.
In response to Joe Biden’s reactions to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Joe shared:
…We don’t really know who’s running Biden’s Administration because he’s not! That’s very clear. He doesn’t have the ability. So it’s either China, Barack Obama or perhaps George Soros. Who Tony Blinkin, Joe Biden’s Secretary of State, his parents are connected to Soros. So his policies don’t make any sense. But we don’t know that he’s really behind those, again.
After discussing that Biden might like a war with Ukraine because it would take the focus off of the failing economy in the US, Joe shared:
Americans don’t want war and we don’t trust Biden in the Ukraine. The Biden family made millions of dollars in the Ukraine as well as other politicians and so we don’t really trust them.
Joe shared that Putin would not have done this with Trump in office and we know this because Putin didn’t do this when Trump was in office. As far as running again, we know that Trump has a 96% approval rate among Republicans in a recent poll and he’s beating everyone in any polls at this time for the Presidency.
