Sunnyvale, California – A retired middle school teacher was arrested on Monday for raping a child back in 2009.
Sunnyvale police officers arrested retired Cupertino Middle School teacher Anthony James Phillips for the rape of one of his students.
“James retired from teaching three years ago but is currently a volunteer softball and basketball coach at Fremont High School in Sunnyvale, CA” – Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety revealed in a press release.
Anthony James Phillips was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, forcible penetration with a foreign object and forcible penetration with a foreign object upon a child.
Kamala Harris on Tuesday traveled to Pennsylvania to attend a labor rally in South Philly.
Harris was joined by Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh.
Harris affected a bizarre accent as she delivered remarks at the Sheet Metal Workers’ International Association.
“Unlike for some of us, the thing of Encyclopedia Britannica is a thing of a long time ago – and now the kids need to be online to help get their homework done,” Harris said cackling.
“Broadband wire. Why do we care about that? We’re gonna lay it across the country because we know that our seniors might need the benefit of telemedicine…” she added.
A first-grade transgender teacher at Brooke Charter School in Roslindale told kindergarteners that doctors guessed babies’ gender when they were born and claimed, “sometimes the doctor is wrong” and “makes an incorrect guess” when assigning gender.
Ray Skyer, a trans teacher in Boston, Massachusetts, posted a video clip of his zoom session with a group of kindergarteners regarding “identity share” last year.
“So when babies are born, the doctor looks at them, and they make a guess about whether the baby is a boy or girl based on what they look like. And most of the time, that guess is 100% correct. There are no issues whatsoever,” Skyer claimed.
“But sometimes the doctor is wrong. The doctor makes an incorrect guess. When a doctor makes a correct guess, that’s when a person is called cisgender. When a doctor’s guess is wrong, that’s when they are transgender,” Skyer argued.
“I’m a man, but when I was a baby, the doctors told my parents I was a girl. And so my parents gave me a name that girls typically have and bought me clothes that girls typically wear, and until I was 18 years old, everyone thought I was a girl. And this was super, super uncomfortable for me because I knew that wasn’t right.”
The text accompanying Skyer’s longer Facebook video of the Zoom call is titled “BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN??” It reads as follows:
Whenever there are bills introduced targeting trans youth, we always hear the argument that these laws are “protecting” their peers and “preventing confusion.” At this point, I’ve had many conversations with many young children (I’m a 1st grade teacher) about what being transgender is and never once have I been met with any fear or confusion. I’ve even been the recipient of a group hug! Children just get it, it’s as simple as that.
This is a video from an Identity Share I did yesterday over Zoom with many of our kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students. When I opened up my classroom’s Zoom room immediately after, here are some things my students said:
“Great job, Mr. Skyer!” “I think my family is a lot like yours!” “How did you grow a beard?” (My answer was just that I grew up!) “Where are you in those pictures?” “Your brother is taller than you AND has a bigger beard!” (Thanks, friend.) “Who is the homework leader for today??”
Learning about and embracing differences is something that comes naturally and is exciting to children. Let’s follow their lead.
Julie Kelly from American Greatness went on The War Room and dropped several bombs on the FBI and Deep State’s actions before, during and after the January 6 protests.
The FBI under Chris Wray is still hiding hundreds of thousands of requested documents related to January 6 and uploaded them to a sharable platform so defense attorneys can have access to the documents. Meanwhile, the trials of the hundreds of men and women who attended the January 6, 2021 protests are ongoing.
Julie Kelly: (FBI) agents were deployed to Capitol grounds EARLY on January 6th. Well, what were they doing Steve? I’ve seen all sorts of videos and photographs from January 6th. I don’t see people walking around in big FBI jackets! I don’t see any FBI agents trying to stop the crowd. We still can’t get Jill Sanborn, the head of Counter-Terror at the FBI who was asked under oath if FBI agents or informants incited or were involved in any violence on January 6. She couldn’t answer the question. And we still have no clarification four months later after her testimony. And furthermore, Steve, I’ll say this in conclusion, the FBI still has not uploaded hundreds of thousands of pages of FBI records related to January 6th. Still have not uploaded it to a sharable platform so defense attorneys who are defending January 6 platforms can have access to these records.
That is a huge injustice by our Justice Department. The Founders are rolling in their graves watching the absolute lawlessness of the leftists and bureaucrats and their shameless attacks on ordinary patriotic Americans!
Joe Biden on Tuesday traveled to Menlo, Iowa to deliver remarks on his infrastructure law and his plan to lower costs amid rising inflation.
The US inflation rate soared to 8.5% in March under Joe Biden – inflation is likely over 20% but the Regime is claiming it’s 8.5%
Instead of taking responsibility, Biden blamed Vladimir Putin: “We saw today’s inflation data. 70% of the increase in prices in March came from Putin’s price hike in gasoline.”
“Your family budget, your ability to fill up your tank, none of it should hinge on whether a dictator declares war and commits genocide a half a world away,” Biden added.
He was slurring his words then out of the blue introduced himself and he even struggled with that.
“Now as I was campaigning here in Iowa and made that commitment, I don’t think anyone heard me, but we’re back, we’re back and I – uh, my name is Joe, Joe Biden and I work for Congresswoman Axne…” said Biden.
Moderna said on Friday that it was recalling one Spikevax lot in Europe. The batch contains 764,900 doses made by CDMO Rovi that were deployed across Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden between January 13 and January 14.
Moderna recalled the shots because of a “foreign body” found in one vial of the batch made at Rovi’s site in Spain, the partners said in a release. Many have already alerted the public that “foreign bodies” can be found in many of the “vaccines” being forced on the public right now.
The company says it’s performing the recall out of an “abundance of caution.” Moderna said it’s working closely with health authorities as it runs its investigation, adding that it and Rovi are “committed to working transparently and expeditiously with regulators to address any potential concerns,” according to a report by Fierce Pharma.
Horrifyingly, more than 900 million doses of its mRNA-based shot have been administered around the world so far, Moderna said. The company doesn’t think the problems with the solo vial pose a risk to others in the lot, nor does it believe the issue “affects the significant benefit/risk profile of the vaccine.”
Simultaneously, Kyodo News reported that Moderna’s Japanese vaccine partner, Takeda, had halted the use of 1.63 million Spikevax doses. An investigation by Rovi ultimately concluded that the particulates found in the Japanese vials were stainless steel.
Other than Reuters, this recall is hardly being mentioned by the mainstream media. Moderna did not disclose what the “foreign body” found in the “one” vial was, but we have some idea. We’ve seen several images from scientists and doctors who have looked at these “vaccines” under microscopes. What was found was horrifying.

We get a lot of questions on ham radio and what people should buy for survival purposes, so we are going to start looking at everything from the basics on up to everything you need to build your own emergency preparedness communications infrastructure to keep you going should things go really bad.
There are
a ton of prepper websites that talk about Ham Radio, but when looking at that
information and the radios that they recommend I want you to really be careful
who you listen to. Ham Radio is a complicated subject, and most radios require
a certain amount of knowledge to use them correctly.
Unfortunately, most of what is out there on the internet is just copy and paste stolen from other sites or reviews pulled directly off of Amazon. I’ve been a Ham Radio operator for over 30 years, so whenever I talk about a radio or emergency communication on this site it is coming from my own personal experience.
Radio communication, Antenna Theory, and electronics are complicated subjects – I will be the first to admit that I don’t know everything, so if you are looking to get into Ham Radio or buying a radio for emergency communication purposes, please take the time to at least understand how the radios work, how to set up antennas, and the basics of ham radio and emergency communication.
Today we are going to look at a radio that is part of our personal setup for short-range local communications, the dual-band Yaesu FT-65R.
I personally use this radio – it’s actually sitting on my desk monitoring stations as I write this review – so everything in this review is coming from my own personal experience. That being said, and in the honor of full transparency, I did not buy the radio. I actually won it in a Raffle at the Ham Radio Reception during the NAB Show in Las Vegas. But damn am I glad I won!
The Yaesu FT-65R is a small, handheld, Dual Band Ham radio that covers the 2 Meters (144 MHz to 148 MHz) and 70CM (430 – 450 MHz) radio bands. It comes with a 1950 mAh Li-Ion battery pack that gives you about 8-9 hours of operating time.
It can usually be found for around $100…

Now before we jump into the radio review, I’m going to jump off-topic a bit for a moment, because on almost every other prepper site, you are going to see people with very little ham radio knowledge recommending the Baofeng UV-5R. I WILL NOT BE DOING THAT!
Listen, I own the radio, I use the Radio, and I experiment with the Baofeng radio – it is part of my Ham Gear, but I own it for the hobby sake of owning it and being able to experiment with a cheap ass radio that I don’t have to worry about killing. If you want to use it to experiment with and learn from, have at it! But from a preparedness standpoint, I am not going to trust my life to some $30 Chinese piece of crap that may or may not be a knock off, depending on where and who you bought it from! Rant over!
Now back to The Yaesu FT-65R
This is one solid little radio; something that I feel I can depend on even if it takes a beating. I have no problems throwing it into a bugout bag, keeping it inside my Truck, or using it during bad weather conditions.
From a performance standpoint, at this price point you will be hard-pressed to find a better handheld dual-band radio. Now I’m going to warn you, you are probably going to see some reviews from people who bought radio bitching about reception and transmission — it’s a HANDHELD RADIO not a high-power vehicle mobile rig or a home station that can pump up the power and utilize better antennas. If you understand that, and you have a basic knowledge of setting up antennas, this radio will do the job!
RANT – Most of these people probably are not Hams, many don’t understand how repeater offsets work so they will never be able to send or receive anything on any radio, and I doubt many of them can build their own Antennas – RANT OVER!
Anyways, this is a great little starter radio for those just getting into Ham Radio, one that can also serve as a primary hand-held Emergency Radio.
Here are a couple of the things we liked about the Yaesu FT-65R radio:
It’s easy to program both simplex and repeater frequencies in the field, even without a programming cable.
Solid construction – The IP54 Rating for Dust and Water protection, and the MIL-810-C,D and E standards make this a great radio for those who plan to be in hard environments.
Battery life, even with the stock battery is pretty damn good out of the box!
Not a lot of frequency error, as we’ve seen in a lot of radios under $100.
The price point isn’t bad for a starter radio.
What we don’t like about the Yaesu FT-65:
It’s not the Yaesu FT-60R!!! Hey, we are going to be honest with our reviews and given the choice of the older FT-60 or the Newer FT-65, we are going with the older Yaesu FT-60R!
In our opinion, Yaesu is trying to hard to compete with the Baofeng and should have stuck to the FT-60 design and features. Yes, the FT-65 is a hell of a lot better than a Baofeng, but when compared to the FT-60, which could be one of the best HTs ever built, it just doesn’t stack up.
That being said, if you are on a strict budget the FT-65 is cheaper, easy to use, and will make a great first radio!

Recommended Accessories:
For the most part, the radio should be good to go right out
of the box. That being said for emergency preparedness purposes we do recommend
having these add-ons.
Antennas
The stock antenna provides decent performance across both bands; but like with any other handheld radio we recommend upgrading the antenna to something like the MFJ 1717sf quarter-wave antenna.
Hopefully, you already have a higher power mobile rig in your vehicle (these give you more power and better performance than a handheld radio), but if not, I recommend at the very list having a mobile mount antenna that you can then hook this handheld up to while you are driving for better transmission and reception. We recommend something like an MFJ-1729 Magmount antenna.
Cables
The radio is actually pretty easy to program, but it’s even easier to program with the RT Systems Programming Software and USB-55 Cable . This software gives you a spreadsheet layout that interfaces with things like the RFinder-Worldwide Repeater Directory to program all of your local repeaters – it also allows you to quickly reprogram the radio if you plan on traveling or bugging out to a new location.
If you are part of a group, or family that plans on using multiple radios to communicate with each other during an emergency, then we also recommend getting the Yaesu SCU-36 Cloning Cable – this will allow you to clone all of your radios so they have the exact same frequency setups and channels designations. During a SHTF situation, you can easily just tell your group to head over to a certain channel instead of having to give away what frequencies you will be communicating on!
JetBlue will be canceling additional flights – after a weekend of cancelations – due to staffing shortages.
“Given we anticipate continued industry challenges and heavy demand into the summer, we are planning more conservatively and trying to be proactive where we can with cancellations due to disruptive weather and air traffic control events,” JetBlue said.
JetBlue has announced plans for additional flight cancellations as it faces ongoing staffing shortages.
The New York City-based airline said that following a number of canceled flights over the weekend it will also make “a small schedule adjustment” for the rest of April, citing a “challenging staffing situation.”
“Despite hiring more than 3,000 new crew-members already this year, like many businesses, we remain staffing constrained,” the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
Additional cuts are planned from May through the summer, it said, even as it continues to bring on new employees.
The hearing for Senate Bill SB418 to require proof of identity, residency and citizenship in order to vote in NH was held on 4/8/22. The room was swamped with opponents of the Bill who want NH elections to be open to anyone in the world.
The Prime Sponsor of SB418 is NH State Senator Bob Giuda. He testified before the House Election Law Committee on 4/8/22:
“Every living breathing person on the planet is not entitled to vote in NH. But under current law, any living breathing person on the planet can come here and vote. Think about that. I can come here and sign a piece of paper that says ‘I’m a citizen’, or ‘I live here’.
We’ve had over two and a half million people come across the southern border of the United States in the last few years, and more are coming. How do we know whether or not they’re here voting? We don’t.”
SB418 & SB328 are two “sister bills” that (if signed into law) will prohibit unqualified people from voting. Together, they will address what Senator Giuda calls “a gaping loophole”.
SB418 will ensure that only votes cast by qualified voters will be counted in an election’s certified results.
SB328 will move the date of NH’s primary to ensure there is enough time between the primary election and the general election in order to meet the requirements of SB418 and federal voting laws to ensure our military will have enough time to submit their votes for the subsequent general election.
Problem solved! But political opponents want unfettered access to vote in NH – and they showed up in force to oppose SB418. They presented unfounded FUD talking points (fear, uncertainty and doubt) to derail the legislation.
Over and over, they raised concerns that overseas military personnel would not have enough time to vote… but that concern is addressed with sister-bill SB328.
Over and over, they expressed concerns that SB418 may violate the NH Constitution… which is why Senator Giuda worked with State Rep Bob Lynn to write the Bill. Rep. Lynn is a retired Chief Justice of the NH Supreme Court. When I asked Rep. Lynn for his thoughts, he confirmed his belief the Bill is Constitutional. He should know!
There were concerns that implementing SB418 would be too confusing. The President of the League of Women Voters New Hampshire said the laws are getting more complicated, “Not for you and me, we understand what these laws are. But for the average voter, this threatens to make those eligible voters not vote.”
That’s nonsense. The Bill is clear. People will still be able to sign an affidavit on election day and vote – even if they forget to bring any of the three basic forms of documentation:
Proof of Identity: a government-issued photo ID, i.e. a license or passport.
Proof of Domicile: a license or a utility bill with their address on it, etc.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship: a passport or birth certificate.
THE ONLY DIFFERENCE is that SB418 will REQUIRE those who did not provide proof of their identity and/or domicile on election day – to do so within 10 days AFTER the election. Those voters will be given a pre-paid, pre-addressed overnight envelope that will be delivered to the Secretary of State’s office. That’s it. Trust but verify!
If that proof is not received by the NH Secretary of State within 10 days after the election, their votes will be deducted from the election day totals before the election results are certified. The Bill has mechanisms in place to retain every voter’s confidentiality similar to those that are currently in place for absentee voting.
Recently retired Secretary of State Bill Gardner and current Secretary of State Dave Scanlan both worked with Senator Giuda on this Bill.
SB418 brings integrity to NH elections that is sorely missing. If you believe that only qualified votes should be certified in every NH election, then contact the members of the House Election Law Committee ([email protected]) and respectfully ask them to support SB418 and SB328.
For too long, many people voting in our state elections have been able to register to vote and vote without proving their domicile and showing that they live in their city or ward before voting.
This is ludicrous. The majority of Granite Staters, when registering to vote, show proof of domicile. Something that shows we live where we say we live: a driver’s license, an electric bill, a rental agreement or a motor vehicle registration or another commonsense piece of evidence that proves you live where you say you do.
But many people neglect this important step and refuse to show they are domiciled here and leave, on election day, with their vote counted regardless of whether or not they actually consider the state their domicile. They sign the state domicile affidavit without showing any proof of where they live and continue on their way.
This is called the domicile loophole. This loophole leaves our elections in New Hampshire vulnerable to fraud and abuse.
Together, SB418 and SB328 will fix that loophole. Both Bills have passed through the Senate and only need to be approved by the House in order to be sent to the Governor’s desk for his signature. If you care about free and fair elections in NH, then show your support for the Bill to counter the massive coordinated opposition who want to keep NH elections as open as the U.S. Southern border.
Only NH residents who prove they meet the legal qualifications should be allowed to cast a vote. Please email the Committee now and respectfully ask them to support SB418 and SB328: [email protected]
