In this episode of TFBTV, James Reeves and Ryan brutalize a Mossberg MC2sc micro-compact pistol. Mossberg’s MC2sc entered the already-crowded micro-compact market relatively late with its 9mm 11+1 doublestack micro-compact pistol, so it’s been relatively low-profile, especially considering that Mossberg is more popularly known for its shotguns. Is the durability of the MC2sc on par […]
According to our most recent count (coming courtesy of Nomura). about 373 million people in 45 cities (including Shanghai, China’s the financial and economic heart of China’s economy) are now under full or partial lockdown, comprising less than 20% of China’s population but roughly 40% of China’s GDP.
And as Beijing scrambles to do everything in its power to protect the country’s fracturing economy – which is rapidly becoming (or rather, has already become) a serious problem not just for the CCP, but for the world, as IMA Asia’s Richard Martin claimed during an early morning interview on CNBC’s “Street Signs” on Tuesday – the central banking wunderkinds over at the PBOC are once again stepping into the breach.
In an announcement that seemed to imitate the Fed’s favorite “bazooka” rhetoric (or, perhaps more like Mario Draghi’s infamous “whatever it takes” moment), the PBOC said Wednesday that it was waiting and ready to (yet again) cut banks’ reserve requirement ratio and/or use other monetary policy easing measures “at proper time,” according to a state television report sourced to a State Council meeting chaired by Premier Li Keqiang, China’s most powerful political leader after only President Xi himself. Keqiang’s announcement follows his latest warning about the direction of China’s economy by about a day.
CHINA’S CABINET: WILL USE POLICY TOOLS, INCLUDING RESERVE REQUIREMENT CUTS IN A TIMELY WAY – STATE MEDIA
CHINA’S CABINET: WILL TAKE MEASURES TO BOOST CONSUMPTION- STATE MEDIA
CHINA STATE COUNCIL VOWS TO USE RRR CUT WHEN NEEDED: TV
As we have noted before (indeed, many times before), central banks are ill-equipped to fix structural problems in the economy spawned by the fact that millions of consumers are being kept from work (no matter how hard Beijing tries to “target” its “zero COVID” crackdown, they can’t seem to reconcile the fact that essential workers at ports and factories can’t be both under quarantine and together at work at the same time without seriously hampering productive capacity (although lord knows they have tried). In fact, Credit Suisse’s Zoltan Pozsar has even touched upon this issue in some of his recent writings about the threat to the dollar’s monetary dominance – if only tangentially.
Of course, easing isn’t the only policy change that the CCP has been scrambling to make in this all-important year for President Xi, who is expected to be anointed to lead for a nigh-unprecedented (since Chairman Mao) third term as China’s supreme leader during the upcoming quinquennial party congress in November.
The NYT noted earlier that as President Xi and the Politburo Standing Committee do everything in their power to kick-start economic growth, Xi’s “common prosperity” crackdown on China’s technology industry (along with private tutoring, video games, and other alleged drivers of “inequality”) has been postponed because of its anti-growth properties. As it turns out, cracking down on the industries that are the biggest drivers of your country’s economic growth and prosperity can be bad for the all-important GDP numbers (goalseeked though they are).
To Beijing, ensuring the economy is stable and growing is paramount this year, an all too important one for Mr. Xi. As he prepares to claim a third five-year term later in the year, he has sought to portray China as more prosperous, powerful and stable under his rule. Officials have scrambled in recent months to try to reverse a slowdown in growth, made worse by surging global oil prices, uncertainty over the war in Ukraine and lockdowns in China to contain an unrelenting surge of coronavirus cases.
“Common prosperity is still here, but the growth situation is quite challenging,” said Huang Yiping, deputy dean of the influential National School of Development at Peking University, in an interview. “The top priority is really to stabilize growth.”
The delay is more of a tactical retreat than a wholesale abandonment of Mr. Xi’s plans, which the party continues to describe as a long-term goal. Mr. Xi’s “common prosperity” campaign is a pledge to shrink the country’s wide wealth gap and build up a middle class that can drive domestic consumption and reduce the country’s reliance on debt-fueled growth. It also serves political aims: to shore up public support for Mr. Xi’s leadership and champion the Chinese political system of centralized control as superior to the West.
Meanwhile, President Xi doubled down on the lockdown policy Wednesday, telling state media that China will not relax its “dynamic” COVID lockdown policies until the COVID outbreak has been defeated (although the CCP will continue to do everything it can to minimize economic blowback).
Last month, western investment banks including Goldman Sachs declared Beijing’s growth target to be “quite challenging” under current conditions. Since then, lockdown measures have only tightened, with the vampire squid projecting that the CCP could trim one percentage point off of growth for every four weeks of “targeted” lockdowns.
As far as a stimulus is concerned, the floodgates have now been opened. Remember, the lockdowns are about more than just the economy now, they’re about something bigger: the very legitimacy of the CCP’s policymaking apparatus.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Protesters are gathering in the streets in Grand Rapids, Michigan following the release of video footage showing the fatal shooting of a Black man by a police officer on April 4.
100 Percent Fed Up reports – The newly-released videos were played at Wednesday’s news conference, showing the entire series of events leading up to the death of the young man, Patrick Lyoya, 26.
At the conference, the city’s police chief, Eric Winstrom, refused to name the officer who shot Lyoya because he has not been charged with any crime. The officer, however, is on paid leave pending the investigation.
The videos – from the police car’s camera, the camera worn by the officer, a neighborhood home surveillance camera, and the passenger’s phone – show Lyoya and another passenger being pulled over in a residential neighborhood. After the police car and the car Lyoya is driving come to a stop, Lyoya exits the vehicle despite the officer yelling at him to “stay in the car” repeatedly.
Lyoya, remaining outside of his vehicle, persistently asks the police officer what he did wrong. The officer informs him that “the plate does not belong on this car.” The officer then asks if he has a license, and asks Lyoya to get it from the car, and he opens the driver-side door and asks his passenger to get it for him. However, before the passenger can give him his license, Lyoya shuts the door and begins to walk away from the officer.
The officer follows Lyoya, and tries to restrain and handcuff him, but Lyoya starts fighting him and then tries to run away. The officer runs after him, eventually catching him and pinning him on the ground, yelling at him to “stop resisting” and to put his hands behind his back.
After gaining control of the situation, the police officer tries to bring Lyoya over to the police car but is again met with a struggle. It seems that the officer pulls out his taser, which is then grabbed by Lyoya. You can hear the officer repeatedly demand him to “let go of the taser,” which Lyoya doesn’t appear to listen to.
He pins Lyoya again, who then grabs the officer’s taser. As this is taking place, the passenger of the vehicle has gotten out of the car and is recording on his cell phone.
The officer then fires his gun at Lyoya’s head, killing him. On the surveillance footage from the officer’s body camera, the camera was deactivated before the shooting.
Stills from bodycam footage showing the struggle between Patrick Lyoya and the police officer for the taser
Carmine Sabia reminds his Twitter followers that a taser is a deadly weapon and that civil rights leaders should be advising others to “stop fighting with police officers and start cooperating.”
After this footage was released, hundreds of people gathered outside of the Grand Rapids Police Department to protest the shooting of Lyoya, chanting “Black Lives Matter.”
The “non-violent” protesters threw eggs at the front doors of the Grand Rapids Police Department as police officers attempted to exit through the doors. They were forced to go back inside as unidentified items were being thrown at them from the “protesters.” Unlike the January 6th protesters who were actually mostly protesters, these “protesters” will likely not be arrested or placed in solitary confinement for their behavior.
Protesters filled the streets of Grand Rapids shouting the name of Patrick Lyoya.

I stumbled across a video of Dr. Philip Karber, a former U.S. Marine and founder of the Potomac Foundation, briefing West Point cadets in April 2018 on the war in the Donbas and Russian capabilities. It is remarkable and worth your time because it lays out in stark terms the delusion of the American military and the harsh reality of Russian military capabilities.
Andrei Raevsky (aka The Saker) provides a helpful summary of Karber’s key points:
Russia has the most advanced and dense, data-linked air defense on earth.
In a war against Russia, U.S. army cannot expect much air assistance for at least the first several weeks. Even stealth aircraft will not be of much use because of the distance they must fly in order to reach targets in Ukraine and/or Russia.
Russian EW (electronic warfare) is much more advanced and more ‘combat-ized’ than in the U.S. RF utilizes it in combat squads whereas U.S. barely has any and only at the divisional level
Russian EW shuts down all communications in huge areas along the front, no cellphones, military radios etc. They break GPS links with drones, making them useless and can even fry the fuses on artillery shells midflight.
U.S. army produces 10x the frequency emissions of a Ukrainian brigade, which would make it extremely visible to all sorts of Russian EW, drones, advanced weapons.
Russia has far more artillery than U.S. and far greater variety of munition types.
Remember, these are the items Karber identifies as key. This is not Raevsky’s opinion. The video is unnerving in part because it is four years old yet predicts the kind of war Russia is now waging inside Ukraine.
Go to the 17:40 mark in the video and listen as Karber describes the Russian Operations Plan for Invading Ukraine. Even though this video is four years old it is still relevant. More so than ever. Here is the map of the proposed 2014 Russian invasion plan. Look familiar?
Important to note that Russia made some significant alterations to this plan. Their axis of attack from the north through Chernobyl was not on the 2014 plan.
Karber’s two most salient conclusions from his briefing should scare the hell out of U.S. military commanders.
First, from the last year of WW II until now the US has always fought with air superiority and never faced a comparable air force. Russia changes that calculus. Not only does it have a robust combat air capability that rivals anything the United States or NATO can put in the air, the Russians have the largest interconnected air defense system in the world. Five systems that are all data linked according to Karber. And this was the status quo from four years ago. Russian has made additional significant technological gains on this front.
One of the most important developments is Russia’s dramatic expanded use of drones/UAVs. Russian tanks have capability to operate a UAV from the tank to obtain intelligence and launch an aerial attack.
The second, and far more concerning Russian advantage is its formidable Electronic Warfare capabiltiy–i.e., they can listen, jam communications and hit targets emitting an electronic signature. The US Army, by contrast, does not have a competent, organized EW capability. Compounding the threat is the U.S. Army’s over reliance on computer systems to gather and disseminate intelligence and other essential military communications. This means that U.S. command posts and units will be easier to target and destroy.
Another ominous observation from Karber concerns use of thermobaric weapons. Karber describes them as “Napalm on steroids.” The Ukrainian soldiers dug in at fortified positions are discovering this horror first hand. These bombs give Russia the ability to devastate company and brigade sized units. It eliminates Russia’s need to send troops against a fortification and risk incurring thousands of casualties.
The war in the Donbas has been going on for eight years. Until now, Russia did not fully engage its full military capabilities. Whatever success Ukraine enjoyed prior to the launch of the special military operation is now a distant memory. If Dr. Karber is to be believed, the Ukrainian Army posed a more serious threat than any army that NATO could field. In other words, the last six weeks represent a proxy war between Russia and NATO and NATO is losing.
Democrats LOVE open borders. Last year Democrats released nearly 2 million illegals on the streets in America. This year we are looking at at least 2.5 million illegals in America. And we all get to pay for this.
Democrats hate borders. They hate the cops. They are out to destroy civil society and they are doing a masterful job.
In a recent episode of Star Trek: Picard the crew goes back in time and beats up ICE officers, hijacks a bus of illegal aliens, and releases even more illegals into America.
This is Hollywood’s dream — as long as they don’t have to live in the communities they destroyed.
A couple recent episodes of the Paramount+ series Star Trek: Picard featured Starfleet crew members traveling back in time to present day to beat up U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, free a busload of illegal immigrants on their way to be deported, and lecture that racism just “took off a hood and put on a suit” in the early 21st Century.
Traveling back to 2024 Earth to help save the future of humanity in season two, episode four of the show, titled The Watcher, the crew specifically heads to downtown Los Angeles to achieve their mission. After Captain Cristobal Rios (Santiago Cabrera) becomes injured, the Hispanic character finds himself at a medical clinic that specializes in treating illegal immigrants and others, like him, who lack identification.
Caught up in an ICE raid on the clinic, Rios is detained and brought to a detention facility to await processing and deportation. When fellow crew mates Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan) and Raffi Musiker (Michelle Hurd) show up at the medical facility looking for Rios, a nurse tells them: “Yeah, he was here. The doctor patched him up before ICE officers raided us….You know those assholes.” Seven chimes in: “Yeah, I feel like I do.” The nurse ominously adds: “But your friend, I hope you find him soon. Before ICE makes sure you never do.”
Continuing their search for Rios at a nearby LAPD precinct, Raffi yells at an officer: “God dammit, you’re law enforcement for the city, right?! Why else would I be here? Listen, my friend was taken by ICE officers, you must know something. You can’t just kidnap people!”…
…The episode cuts to Rios in ICE detention, with him sneering at sign on the wall displaying the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance: “I pledge allegiance to the flag.” He remarks in Spanish to a fellow detainee: “They make you swear allegiance? That is hard core.”
JAN. 6 VICTIM OF POLICE BRUTALITY AND PROSECUTORIAL MISCONDUCT: DC JAIL DENIES ACCESS TO EVIDENCE AND PUNISHES THOSE WHO KNOW TOO MUCH
Despite the fact that I did not attend the President’s speech on The Ellipse on January 6th, did not march to the Capitol, and was not at the Capitol the day of the Capitol riot, The Washington Post, The New York Times, CNN, MSNBC and others have sought to baselessly link me to the illegal acts at the Capitol that day. Even the Washington Post reported that three different sources confirmed that I was not in a “War Room” in The Willard Hotel that was allegedly operating on January 6, but these legacy media outfits still want to accuse me of wrongdoing.
The main tactic that these fake news outlets have utilized to try to falsely tie me to the January 6th riot at the Capitol is “guilt by association.” The fact that I know and speak to President Donald Trump and that I have come into contact with members of either the Proud Boys or the Oath Keepers, proves nothing whatsoever.
Although I was subpoenaed by the January 6th Committee of the U.S. House, I responded to that subpoena by invoking my Fifth Amendment right not to answer questions or provide documents. I did this not because I have anything to hide, know anything about the illegal actions that day or have done anything wrong, but simply because I have first-hand experience with the House Democrats’ ability to take statements made under Oath that are innocuous, immaterial or irrelevant and twist them into a crime.
Because of this relentless effort to smear me, many of my own advisors and lawyers have urged me to remain silent about the injustices and lack of due process that those who have been arrested have been subjected to. With the level of physical abuse, lack of medical attention and treatment, and inhumane conditions the January 6th detainees are victims of, I cannot remain silent.
Lawsuits across the country are settling for millions of dollars in cases of police brutality during the summer riots in 2020. $14M jury award for protesters, dozens more still pending.
How quickly we forget that in our very own District of Columbia, during a presidential transition just one election cycle earlier, in 2017 a mob of leftists who during President Trump’s inauguration threw acid at citizens, bricks at police officer’s heads, and—armed with crowbars—organized to ‘disrupt the peaceful transition of power’ — were awarded $1.6M in damages for pain and suffering caused by both federal and DC police. This is just another example of the two-tiered justice system in which those on the left commit atrocious crimes but are not prosecuted while those on the right are prosecuted, vilified by the fake news media, and denied fair trial.
Yet these same brute police tactics were used against hundreds of American citizens on January 6th—igniting the chaos of the scene with flashbangs, rubber bullets, mace and batons against peaceful protestors that ultimately resulted in six citizens dead.

Rather than demanding equal justice and full investigations into the violence on Jan 6th (instead of Donald Trump’s phone records, please), weak Republicans and easily misled moderates across the spectrum have capitulated to the far left’s retributive “Let them Rot” zealotry which went from rewarding anarchists four years ago to today defending police violence for “Our Democracy.”
In fact, even though at least 20 internal reviews are being conducted by law enforcement agencies behind closed doors to determine whether excessive force was used on January 6th, the mainstream will not discuss the facts of the brutality that catalyzed most of the self-protective events that occurred in those chaotic hours on Capitol grounds.
In February, the Department of Justice issued a memorandum regarding the status of discovery stating that defendants would not be provided access to highly sensitive materials, including “allegations about officers’ use of force or complicity with riots.” This is a clear-cut example of the violation of due process.
The same prosecutors in McGrew’s case submitted still images to the court in an attempt to say that he was part of a group “violently assisting” to move a ladder in the direction of police, when the video those images came from clearly show he didn’t even touch the ladder. He was actually 3-4 feet away from it. Prosecutors later admitted, in a correction to the court, that they hadn’t watched the video.

(In one court filing, his counsel chided, “Is it too much for a defendant to ask – and a Court to expect – for the government to recite facts accurately as reflected in Affidavits submitted by government agents?”). Those making such an assertion deserve to be disbarred.
The prosecution is now—across too many cases to ascribe to plain incompetence—aiding and abetting in the cover-up of excessive police force, which is a crime punishable by law that Federal juries are responding to favorably for victims across the country.
Here is a compelling letter that McGrew wrote to his mother:
My name is James McGrew, I am a January 6th defendant, United States Marine, and Wounded Combat Veteran. This is my testimony and plea to all Patriotic Americans.
On January 6th 2021, I went to the Stop the Steal rally in Washington D.C. in support of Donald J. Trump, my Country, and the Constitution which it was founded. It was my Honor to walk down Constitution Avenue towards the United States Capital alongside millions of Patriotic Americans and Veterans alike, to allow for our voices to be heard by Senators and Congress men and women whom we voted in office to represent us, a protected act in the Constitution of the United States under the 1st Amendment.
This was done with zero malicious intent on my heart at the request of the 45th President of United States, who I knew as the Commander in Chief from my time as a Combat Marine. President Trump said we should peacefully go down to the Capitol and cheer on our Representatives and allow for our voices to be heard. I did so willingly and with an open heart. Dr Martin Luther King Jr can be quoted as having said, “One who breaks an unjust law must do so openly, lovingly, and with the willingness to accept the penalty. I submit that an individual who breaks the law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for the law.”
How true these words would burn in my heart on January 6th and peacefully standing up to injustices would be my cause. I truly had no idea at the horrific acts of violence upon American Citizens, by the Metropolitan Police Department and Capitol Police, I would be met with. Approaching close to the United States Capitol the sights and sounds ever so familiar from my combat service to my Country as a United States Marine would be ever present and forever present in my mind today.
The sounds of explosions one after another after another, my eyes fixated on the plumes of smoke that rose in all directions atop the United States Capitol and its hallowed grounds. These sights and sounds would become quickly evident as I entered into the panicked crowds thousands of American Citizens, Elderly, and Children begging for help as many gasped from the toxic fumes from deployed gas canisters. These canisters had been indiscriminately shot and tossed into the crowds of peaceful rally-goers—men, women, elderly, and children alike. Quickly and instinctively my training as a Marine would kick in as I found myself running to the front lines of this combat zone to try and peacefully persuade Metropolitan Police Officers and Capitol Policemen to stop injuring and inciting violence upon peaceful, patriotic, American families. The Marine Corps motto “Once a Marine Always a Marine” echoing in my mind.
I watched dozens of officer’s spray thousands of gallons of pepper spray into crowds filled with elderly and children, not caring or even giving second thought to who they hit. I watched them deploy gas canister after gas canister and rubber bullets filled with chemical deterrents shot from weapons in an effort to not disperse crowds, but to inflict pain and carnage. These weapons were used in such a quantity that even a trained combat veteran as myself wondered at times if I might die from respiratory distress. I was hit with so much of these toxic chemicals, I can remember looking at the sky and thinking it was raining and that the rain may never stop. I watched an Officer, who I now know as Metropolitan Police Officer Thai run to the front of the police line and blindly shoot five different tasers into the crowd never offering any commands merely inflicting carnage. I witnessed many in respiratory distress begging Metropolitan Police and Capitol Police to help them only to be met with the repeated strikes of shields and batons. I have heard many stories of horrors and atrocities in Tiananmen square. This was America’s Tiananmen square.
For my actions in helping my fellow Americans on January 6th, many whom I now call my friends and family, I am held captive in the District of Columbia, Department of Corrections, Gulag, quite literally by all accounts a Prisoner of War. As a combat veteran I use this most sacred of war terminology sincerely and respectfully, from my heart to never take away from the past men and women who suffered so very many atrocities during their time as POWs. Myself and our Country are forever indebted to their distinguished and Honorable service to their Country.
Since my illegal detainment, I have been held in deplorable conditions in a depilated facility. Cells with mold and feces on walls, plumbing that overflows as wastewater soaks floors and living spaces regularly, then forced to clean up flooded living quarters barefoot or in flip flops. Wastewater soaking our feet and legs splashing onto our bodies as the puddles are swept into showers covering the basins and splashing onto the walls. Exposed wiring in showers from lights that have been busted out, rodent infestations that you can quite literally count the mice and rats as they scurry across the floor in the middle of the night, until you fall asleep.
I have not been allowed to see my family for 10 plus months, not for lack thereof repeated request by myself and family.
I have been subjected to 23 and 22-hour-a-day lockdowns for the vast majority of my captivity, even as the Supreme Court has ruled in past cases this is cruel and unusual punishment for death row inmates. Why is this treatment considered fair by the Department of Justice for me? Why America?
I have been given inadequate and in most cases non-existent medical care, before my illegal detainment I was only a few weeks removed from a Department of Veterans Affairs Hospitals Intensive Care Unit and today suffer from severe pain from an ailment that goes untreated. I have been in this pain since before my captivity all well documented upon grievance forms and medical request here at the District of Columbia Gulag.
I have been subjected to diet that I could not by all means serve to my enemies in Iraq, who upon being detained I treated as I would want to be treated with respect and dignity. However, this is far from the motto of staff here at the Gulag.
I believe their motto is more along the lines of the hate speech that spewed from the mouth of the Gulag’s Deputy Warden Landerkin on her twitter account saying she hates all white men and they should be exterminated. This has been more in line with the treatment of myself and others January 6th Captives.
As an American Patriot and Veteran who loves his Country the United States of America deeply my heart bleeds at the slow strangulation and attempted murder of her values and as a member of the Armed Forces I cannot stand ideally by as my God given and Constitutional freedoms are trampled upon.
President Biden recently can be quoted as saying “he stands in the breach.” I am here to say the American Patriot also stands in this breach against your tyrannical regime and We The People, are the bedrock and founding pillars of the United States Of America. We The People, will no longer be silenced to the Injustices of tyrants. We are the breach that stands in the way of Communist and Marxist ideology.
I was recently heartbroken at the news of the death of Matthew Perna, an American Patriot and Hero. His pain echoes in my heart and mind daily. It infuriates me that our government, supposed democracy, and inherently unfair justice system let this young man down, as it also let down the families of Ashli Babbitt, Roseanne Boyland, Ben Phillips, and Kevin Greeson.
Roseanne Boyland was brutally beat to death by Metropolitan Police Officer Lila Morris.
Ashli Babbitt was shot in cold blood by Michael Byrd who has profited thousands of dollars from her death.
Ben Phillips was hit in the head with a concussion grenade and the District of Columbia Medical examiner would have you believe he died of natural causes.
Kevin Greeson was hit by a concussive chemical irritant grenade District of Columbia Medical Examiner would also like you to believe he died from heart disease.
These are the facts America and there are thousands of hours of video and witness testimony to back this up.
In Matthew Perna’s obituary his family said “many were quietly supportive of him.” While I am very thankful Matthew had this support, I am here to tell you it is not enough.
STAND UP AMERICA!! Stop being quietly supportive. Vocalize your support to the world, get involved. If not for us, for American values, for your faith, your community, your children’s education for our flag, our Country, and most importantly stand up for the God Given Rights of all people.
America Your Country Needs you, Stand up and Fight Go Peacefully and Wholeheartedly into the World.
James McGrew is an American war hero who has been unjustly incarcerated for 313 days, withheld necessary medical treatment (in the wake of a 10-day stint in ICU for complete renal failure, and other issues cascading from battle-sustained injuries), and denied bail despite every legal and moral indication that it should be granted.
Although the courts have overlooked plain police violence, prosecutorial misconduct, and the bounds of legal process, McGrew’s writing from the confines of a 6×9 cell speak of a love for his country.
The abuse of the January 6th detainees, which is in direct violation of the Geneva Conventions, must be exposed and rectified.

Jay Chen, a Democrat candidate running for Congress in district 45 in Orange County, California, (currently occupied by Communist Katie Porter), mocked GOP Rep. Michelle Steel’s accent.
Michelle Steel represents district 48 in Orange County, a wealthy coastal area in Southern California.
Michelle Steel is a Korean-American and Jay Chen mocked her accent.
“You kind of need an interpreter to figure out exactly what she’s saying. The more she speaks, the better for us,” Jay Chen said of Michelle Steel.
VIDEO:
Michelle Steel’s spox condemned Chen’s comments, according to Fox News:
“America is a country built on immigrants,” the spokesperson said. “Michelle Steel is a first-generation Korean American who speaks English as her third language, and these despicable, racist comments from Jay Chen have absolutely no place in our community. Chen owes everyone an explanation, particularly following recent reports he continues backing the Chinese Communist Party’s Confucius Institutes in our educational system.”
District 45 represents the following cities in Orange County:
Irvine, Tustin, North Tustin, Villa Park, Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, and Rancho Santa Margarita, parts of Anaheim, Orange, Laguna Woods, Mission Viejo, and Trabuco Canyon.
Recall, Orange County, a traditionally conservative enclave in Southern California turned all blue after Democrats found hundreds of thousands of votes post election day in 2018.
Orange County Republicans Young Kim (District 39) and Michelle Steel (District 48) flipped two congressional seats red in 2020.
Delta Airlines announced they had dropped a $200 per month surcharge on unvaccinated employees’ health insurance as the company moves to treat Covid-19 as seasonal flu, AP reported.
On Wednesday, CEO Ed Bastian announced this policy reversal on a call with experts and reporters.
“We have dropped as of this month the additional insurance surcharge given the fact that we really do believe that the pandemic has moved to a seasonal virus,” Bastian said.
“Any employees that haven’t been vaccinated will not be paying extra insurance costs going forward,” CEO Bastian announced. “Any employees that haven’t been vaccinated will not be paying extra insurance costs going forward.”
In an interview with Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Bastian said if the federal mask mandate for public transportation will be lifted, Delta will not require passengers or employees to wear masks.
When asked if he’s concerned about another surge, Bastian responded, “Not at all. We look at hospitalizations as the key measure.”
Back in August, Bastian announced that unvaccinated workers would pay monthly premiums on their health insurance because “it is not just costing lives, it is costing as financial resources as well.” The policy would also require them to get weekly Covid-19 tests.
Meanwhile in the 3rd world Democrat hellhole of Los Angeles…
Roving gangs are following wealthy people to their homes and stealing their designer handbags and jewelry.
“According to Capt. Jonathan Tippet, who spearheads the task force, police have identified at least 17 gangs, most based out of South L.A. and operating independently, that are involved. There were 165 such robberies in 2021 and 56 so far this year, he said, including several over the weekend.” the Los Angeles Times reported.
LAPD said in many cases the thieves are released shortly after being arrested to go on and commit more crimes.
On April 11, 2022, around 12:02 p.m., the victim was at a jewelry store in the Jewelry District of Downtown Los Angeles when she was followed by suspects in a silver colored Dodge Challenger. As the victim approached the intersection of 8th Street and Francisco Street, a suspect exited the Dodge Challenger, approached her vehicle, and with an unknown hard tool, shattered her driver side window. The victim attempted to drive away but was unable due to heavy traffic. When her vehicle stopped, the victim exited her vehicle and ran westbound on 8th Street seeking help. The victim attempted to flee on Francisco Street, but the suspects continued to chase her. She returned to 8th Street and ran westbound. At this time, the suspects continued to follow the victim in their vehicle, accelerating and striking the victim as she fled westbound on 8th Street. Once on the ground two suspects emerged from the Dodge Challenger, one armed with a handgun. Victim immediately removed her watch and threw it on the street. The suspects retrieved the watch and drove away.
Both thieves, simply described as males wearing ski masks, were armed with handguns.

In 2010, New York State Republicans nominated former Congressman Rick Lazio for Governor in their state convention. State party leaders worked feverishly to deny Buffalo businessman Carl Paladino the nomination at the Republican State Convention. Paladino subsequently traversed the state’s arcane and difficult petitioning process to successfully challenge Lazio in the Republican State Primary. Paladino’s petitions were legally challenged by Republican Party lawyers but the petitions were upheld. State Republican Chairman Ed Cox was widely criticized for the party’s attempt to avert a primary. Among those most critical of Cox was then Erie County Republican Chairman Nick Langworthy. Republican voters overwhelmingly selected Paladino as their standard-bearer in the primary.
Ironically, Paladino’s campaign collapsed when he accused New York State Assembly leader Sheldon Silver of being a criminal, accused New York State Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos of corruption, and accused New York Governor Andrew Cuomo of engaging in sexual harassment against women. Silver died in prison weeks ago, Skelos was sentenced to more than four years in prison for corruption, and Andrew Cuomo was forced to resign as Governor in the wake of substantiated sexual harassment charges against him.
Now, Langworthy, who has become New York State Republican Committee Chairman, is repeating the same mistake as his predecessor. On March 1st of this year, the Republican State Convention selected Long Island Congressman Lee Zeldin, for whom I have a high regard, as the endorsed Republican candidate for Governor. Former Trump White House Aide and son of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Andrew Giuliani (see https://nyforgiuliani.com/), has filed a sufficient number of signatures, again traversing the state’s arcane and difficult ballot access requirements, to ensure and compete in a Republican Primary for Governor. Now, Chairman Langworthy and the state Republican apparatus seek to challenge those petitions to avert letting the Republican voters of New York select their candidate for Governor.
Why are New York Republicans acting like Democrats? Why do party bosses object to Republican Party voters choosing their candidate for Governor? Andrew Giuliani has more than established his credibility as a viable candidate for Governor. Why not let Republican voters decide?
With New York City in the grips of a growing crime epidemic caused by New York State Democrats enacting bail reform laws that allow hardened criminals who are arrested back on the streets within hours of their arraignment and with New York City public school children still being required to wear masks and the continued requirement that New York City employees, including the police and firefighters being required to submit to mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations, as well as hapless New York Governor Kathy Hochul’s chosen Lieutenant Governor being arrested for corruption, the stage seems set for a Republican resurgence in the 2022 statewide election.
That is why it is essential that New York State Republicans nominate their strongest possible gubernatorial candidate. There is no better test of a candidate’s skills and resilience than a vigorous Republican Party Primary contest. Party leaders would be wise to drop their challenge to Andrew Giuliani’s petitions and let Republican voters decide.
