Actor Sean Penn may go to Ukraine to fight Russian forces.

The 61-year-old Oscar-winning celebrity has reportedly been working on a documentary for Vice about escalating tensions in the country since last year, and flew to Ukraine in February to get a firsthand look at the war.

After returning from the warzone in February, the Ukrainian embassy praised Penn’s effort to film the documentary in Kyiv.

“Sean Penn demonstrates the courage that many others, especially Western politicians lack. The more such people in our country now, true friends of Ukraine, who support the struggle for freedom, the sooner it will be possible to stop Russia’s treacherous attack,” the Ukrainian embassy told Newsweek in a translated statement.

Now the actor is contemplating whether to go back to Ukraine to “take up arms against Russia.” 

“Look, my intention is to go back into Ukraine. But I’m not an idiot, I am not certain what I can offer,” Penn told Hollywood Authentic magazine in an interview published Saturday. 

“If you’ve been in Ukraine [fighting] has to cross your mind,” he said. “And you kind of think what century is this? Because I was at the gas station in Brentwood the other day and I’m now thinking about taking up arms against Russia? What the fuck is going on?”

Penn continued: “The only possible reason for me staying in Ukraine longer last time would’ve been for me to be holding a rifle, probably without body armor, because as a foreigner, you would want to give that body armor to one of the civilian fighters who doesn’t have it or to a fighter with more skills than I have, or to a younger man or woman who could fight for longer or whatever.”

The left-wing Hollywood star, who played an Army sergeant in the 1998 Terrence Malick movie The Thin Red Line, said his curiosity about the effects of psychological warfare is also compelling him to fight Russian forces.

Pope Francis’ love affair with liberal journalists may be coming to a close with the pontiff sharply rebuking their claims that the Vatican is quietly in support of Vladimir Putin.

A number of journalists have attempted to claim that Pope Francis’ refusal to directly name Vladimir Putin is evidence that the Holy See is implicitly supportive of the Russian regime. In a letter to Argentinian journalist Gustavo Sylvestre, Francis described the ‘ideologized journalism’ plaguing newspapers around the world.

“Always in that information are some of the sins that journalists tend to fall into: disinformation, slander, defamation, coprophilia. And I’m told some article authors get paid for this. Sad! A vocation as noble as that of communicating is soiled in this way,” wrote Francis.

Coprophilia is the sexual obsession with feces and defecation.

Francis has previously described journalists as suffering from the sin of coprophilia, writing in 2016 that, “the media should be very clear, very transparent, and not fall prey…to the sickness of coprophilia, which is always wanting to communicate scandal, to communicate ugly things, even though they may be true.”

The shift in rhetoric from the Vatican follows closely behind recent moves to honor journalists who have been covering the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine where Francis stated that journalists on both sides of the conflict were working for “the common good” and those who fall on the battlefields “were courageous.”

“I would like to express my condolences for your fallen colleagues, whatever side they were from,” he said. “Your job is a job for the common good. They have fallen in service of the common good of information. Let’s not forget that they were courageous. I pray for them, I pray that the Lord rewards their work.”

While he has not directly blamed the war on Putin, the pope has made clear his position that the bloodshed is a needless war between brothers, likening it to Cain slaying Abel.

Former Green Beret Jeremy Brown refused to be an informant for the FBI on Jan. 6 — So they imprisoned him for attending the rally.

On Thursday afternoon, September 30th, at 3:45 PM Eastern the FBI raided Jeremy Brown’s home and arrested Jeremy. They charged Jeremy, a Green Beret, with trespassing on the US Capitol Grounds. Jeremy broke the invisible boundary around the US Capitol on January 6th along with tens of thousands of fellow Trump supporters. The boundary was not marked and the protesters were not warned that they were inside the invisible no-go zone.

The Gateway Pundit was notified by his family and an attorney of his arrest in September. Jeremy is still sitting behind bars for standing outside the US Capitol on January 6th. Democrats and Liz Cheney call this “justice.”

Jeremy Brown’s actual crime was refusing to be an FBI informant on January 6th.  So the Feds arrested him months later.

The FBI sent 20 vehicles for his arrest. DHS and Pinellas County law enforcement were also present. The FBI was in Jeremy’s home for 5-and-a-half hours looking for evidence. We were told the FBI did not read Jeremy his rights.

As we reported months ago, Jeremy Brown refused to be an informant for the dirty FBI — They wanted him to be one of their operatives at the Jan. 6 Trump rallies. He refused.

In October the judge overseeing Jeremy’s case refused to grant him bail. 

Wednesday was Jeremy’s 196th day at Pinellas County Jail.

Jeremy remains in good spirits despite a flurry of recent legal activity. The court denied Jeremy’s court-appointed lawyer’s dismissal, forcing Jeremy to argue his own case while the court-appointed lawyer was directed to the back seat. Jeremy also believes that on April 21st, the government may bring 3 new charges against him. All this is happening as we approach his D.C. status conference on April 26th.

When talking through the J6 cases from a bird’s eye view, Jeremy advised the American people to monitor the patterns of prosecutors and defendants in upcoming case events. As an expert in psychological warfare, Jeremy believes the government is still allowing the actions of agent provocateurs and its own agencies to define what happened on January 6th. As a retired Green Beret, Jeremy is no stranger to the methods used by the United States government to achieve monopolistic dominance over the American people’s freedoms and liberties.

Whatcom Middle School’s Gender Sexuality Alliance club (yes, for 10-12 year olds) came up with the idea to host the “Drop Dead Gorgeous Drag Show.”

Totally normal.

But don’t worry because the school insists the drag show will be “behaviorally appropriate,” KGMI reported.

Word of a drag show at Bellingham’s Whatcom Middle School has raised some eyebrows, but the district says it’s not what some have portrayed it as.

The Drop Dead Gorgeous Drag Show was conceived by Whatcom’s GSA student organization as part of Bellingham Schools’ Think BIG Challenge.

It’s one of seven student clubs that are receiving grants of $1,000 to $2,500 for ideas ranging from science, the environment, student transportation, even crochet.

The money is not coming from the district but is a grant from the Bellingham Public Schools Foundation, the district’s non-profit partner.

The event hasn’t been scheduled yet but will be extracurricular and will happen outside of school hours.

Judicial Watch reports on Mexican drug cartels that are running the US border.

Mexican drug cartels have conducted more than 9,000 drone flights into U.S. airspace in the last year to surveil American law enforcement and security operations in the southern border region, a senior Homeland Security official told Judicial Watch this week. The drones are observing federal, state, county, and city agencies near the Mexican border, including the U.S. Border Patrol, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas National Guard, county sheriffs and local police. The Border Patrol, which operates under Customs and Border Protection (CBP), has captured about a dozen of the drones, and accessed the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles’ (UAVs) guidance and memory systems to gain intelligence information, according to a high-level official at the agency.

Judicial Watch learned about the Mexican cartel drone incursions during a recent visit to the southern border and specifically while interviewing federal officials at the CBP Rio Grande Valley sector in Texas. Judicial Watch is further investigating the matter and has filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with CBP, the 60,000-member agency charged with keeping terrorists and their weapons out of the U.S., for all records regarding the use of drones by criminal organizations operating along the U.S.-Mexico border for the purpose of surveilling U.S. law enforcement officials or otherwise facilitating illegal activity. The federal public-record request includes, but is not limited to, all information depicting the known or estimated number of instances of the use of such technology, as well as all reports, intelligence assessments, analyses, or similar records related to their use.

Federal officials on the ground tell Judicial Watch that the cartels use the UAV surveillance flights to facilitate human smuggling and drug trafficking. Specifically, they help identify gaps in border coverage and assist the cartels in overwhelming certain areas to create a diversion for moving sensitive or high value loads through alternate border locations. The data analyzed from the confiscated drones has also provided U.S. authorities with other law-enforcement sensitive information that cannot be made public, government sources said, adding that drug cartels started using the devices a few years ago. Brandon Judd, the president of the union representing the nation’s 20,000 Border Patrol agents, told Judicial Watch the drones are also used to smuggle small amounts of drugs into the U.S. “They are dropping fentanyl,” Judd said this week. “They fly into certain locations, drop them to the ground and fentanyl is taken off of them and they take back off into Mexico.” The drones are not military grade, Judd confirmed, but rather “run of the mill” that can be purchased anywhere.
