LEAK: ‘Key Witness’ Who Moved Mar-a-Lago Boxes on Trump’s Orders Identified

0

Another day, another leak to the Washington Post.

A Trump employee told the FBI he moved boxes of documents at Mar-a-Lago on the former president’s orders, according a report published by the Washington Post late Wednesday.

Apparently only Trump isn’t allowed to take possession of his own presidential records.

Barack Obama was never harassed or accused of violating the Espionage Act for storing highly classified documents at a warehouse.

TRENDING: BREAKING: January 6 Committee Unanimously Votes to Subpoena Trump

According to The Post, the claim from Trump’s worker is corroborated by security footage.

Trump’s worker was told to move the boxes after the former president received a subpoena in May for classified documents.

According to WaPo, this worker initially denied handling Trump’s documents, but in the second interview with the feds, he admitted he moved some boxes for Trump.

Now this…

The ‘key witness’ who moved Mar-a-Lago boxes on Trump’s orders is a former White House employee and Navy veteran.

The Washington Post identified the key witness as Walt Nauta, a 39-year-old who worked valet for Trump and served as a personal staffer at Mar-a-Lago.

The Washington Post reported:

A key witness in the ongoing Justice Department and FBI investigation of Donald Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents is a Navy veteran who followed the former president to Florida after serving as a valet in the Trump White House, people familiar with the matter said.

Walt Nauta is the witness in question, according to these people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation. The 39-year-old worked as a valet for Trump in the Oval Office suite, according to former White House staffers, and served as a personal aide at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s residence and private club in Florida.

Nauta is originally from Guam, according to public records. He enlisted in the Navy and eventually became a cook in the White House mess, a small dining facility run by the Navy in the basement of the West Wing. In 2013, he entered a military culinary competition, part of a team representing “presidential food service.”

Nauta frequently served as a kind of gofer, fetching any items the president might need throughout the day and tidying up the room, the former staffer said. When Trump left the Oval Office for the night, it was Nauta who brought his coat. Their daily proximity meant that the two developed a close professional relationship, and Trump “trusted him completely,” this person added.

As part of his valet responsibilities, Nauta also moved boxes containing papers for Trump between the Oval Office and a private study, as well as a private dining room that Trump used as an informal office, the former staffer said. Trump routinely took classified documents to that dining room, mingled with newspaper articles and other papers, according to multiple former White House officials who have said Trump never strictly followed the rules and customs for handling sensitive government material.

Trump’s spox Taylor Budowich blasted Joe Biden’s corrupt Justice Department in a statement to the Washington Post.

“The Biden administration has weaponized law enforcement and fabricated a Document Hoax in a desperate attempt to retain political power,” Taylor Budowich said in a statement. “Every other President has been given time and deference regarding the administration of documents, as the President has the ultimate authority to categorize records, and what materials should be classified.”

Budowich also accused Joe Biden’s corrupt DOJ of leaking “misleading and false information to partisan allies in the Fake News.”

JUST IN: 82-Year-Old Democrat Senator Patrick Leahy Hospitalized

0

Democrat Senator Patrick Leahy, 82, was hospitalized on Thursday evening after not feeling well.

Leahy will remain in the hospital overnight, according to the Vermont Senator’s office.

Reuters reported:

U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy, 82, was taken to a Washington area hospital “as a precaution” on Thursday after not feeling well at his home in Virginia, his office said.

TRENDING: BREAKING: January 6 Committee Unanimously Votes to Subpoena Trump

The Democrat from Vermont was expected to undergo tests and “remain overnight for observation,” Leahy’s office said in a written statement.

No further details were released on the senator’s condition. The statement said his office would release updates as they became available.

Leahy was elected to the United States senate in 1974 and serves as the president pro tempore of the senate.

Recall, Leahy was taken to the hospital last year after presiding over the opening of the sham impeachment trial against Donald Trump.

Leahy presided over the sham impeachment trial since Chief Justice John Roberts opted out.

The corrupt Vermont senator last year announced he would not be seeking reelection in 2022 after holding the seat for 8 terms.

“It is time to pass the torch to the next Vermonter who will carry on this work for our great state. It’s time to come home,” Leahy said.

MUST SEE: Buccaneers Head Coach Todd Bowles Asked About His Blackness by Woke Liberal Reporters – Delivers Humiliating Response

0

Todd Bowles, head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, spoke to the press about the Bucs upcoming game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Bowles has an extensive football career by any measure. He was signed by the Washington Redskins as an undrafted free agent player in 1986 and played in the league for seven years, including Washington’s Super Bowl XXII winning team.

His coaching career spans both college and the NFL and includes:

  • 1997 Morehouse College- Defensive coordinator & secondary coach
  • 1998-1999 Grambling State- Defensive coordinator & secondary coach
  • 2000 New York Jets-Secondary coach
  • 2001-2003 Cleveland Browns-Secondary–nickel package coach
  • 2004 Cleveland Browns-Secondary coach
  • 2005–2007 Dallas Cowboys-Secondary coach
  • 2008-2011 Miami Dolphins-Assistant head coach & secondary coach
  • 2011 Miami Dolphins- Interim head coach & secondary coach
  • 2012 Philadelphia Eagles-Secondary coach
  • 2012 Philadelphia Eagles-Interim defensive coordinator & secondary coach
  • 2013-2014 Arizona Cardinals-Defensive coordinator
  • 2015-2018 New York Jets-Head Coach
  • 2019-2021 Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Defensive coordinator
  • 2022 Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Head Coach

TRENDING: BREAKING: January 6 Committee Unanimously Votes to Subpoena Trump

But woke reporters wanted to talk about race.

Bowles was asked about his relationship with Steelers coach Tomlin and being one of four Black head coaches in the NFL, “You and Mike Tomlin are two of the few Black head coaches in the league. I wonder what your relationship is like with him.”

Bowles responded to the woke question perfectly. “I have a very good relationship with Tomlin. We don’t look at what color we are when we coach against each other. We just know each other. I have a lot of very good white friends that coach in this league as well. I don’t think it’s a big deal as far as us coaching against each other. I think it’s normal.”

Bowles added, “We coach ball.  We don’t look at color.”

Helpful white ESPN reporter Jenna Laine race-splained to Bowles about the significance of his race saying, “But you also understand that representation matters too, right? And that when aspiring coaches or even football players they see you guys, you know they see someone who looks like them, that grew up like them, that has to mean something.”

The exasperation on Bowles face during the lecture on race said everything and Bowles’ response was fire. “Well, when you say ‘see you guys’ and look like them and grew up like them, means that we are oddballs to begin with. And I think the minute you guys stop making a big deal about it, everybody else will.”

Ouch.

Clay Travis nailed it on Twitter.

Others weighed in on Twitter praising the coach for his responses.

The woke-fest appears in the below press conference at the 7:36 mark.

Go Bucs!

The A2 Sight: How It Works, And How To Use It

0

A2 sights were a controversial design choice when they replaced the old A1 versions. They added complexity and made it possible to change the sight setting without a tool. While some users have maligned the A2, it is a very capable sight for the average civilian shooter.

More AR-15 Articles @ TFB:

Nomenclature

Before we dig into the details, let’s discuss the design of the A2 sight and its components. Generally speaking, the sight adjustment that handles the up-and-down movement of the impact point is called elevation. The Left and right movement is called windage. Rather than some sort of diagonal movement, changes are made along the X- and Y- axis. The elevation knob of the A2 sight sits inside the carry handle below the aperture. The windage knob is on the right side of the carry handle.

The A2 Sight: How It Works, And How To Use It

Windage knob (top) and elevation knob (bottom)

The elevation and windage knobs have click adjustments. As they are moved, there are audible and tactile clicks that can be counted. The amount of movement on the target produced by each click can vary based on the specific model of sight being used and the distance between the front and rear sights. A2 sights on a 20″ barrel with a rifle gas system will be smaller per click than A2 sights on a 16″ barrel with a carbine gas system.

One final sight adjustment is located in the front sight. The front sight post itself moves up and down as another method to change elevation. This change requires a small tool to depress a detent before the sights post turns. The sight tower reminds the shooter how to move the zero with a small “UP” engraving and an arrow to the left.

The other major component in the A2 sight system is the aperture. This is the hole in the rear sight that the shooter looks through. The aperture has two settings, the large “0-2” side which is for close range and night shooting, and the much smaller standard aperture. I almost never use the 0-2 side. Some competition-oriented sights will have an even smaller aperture than standard, as well.

Battle Zero

There are dozens of methods for zeroing an A2 sight. We will stick to two basic methods, the battle zero and competition zero. The battle zero is a method that reduces the amount of dialing. Its goal is hitting man-sized targets at as many ranges as possible, with the fewest adjustments possible. This procedure is detailed in military field manuals such as Army TM 9-1005-319-10. A target is placed at 300 meters (or 25 meters) and the rear sight is adjusted to the “3/8” (or “3/6” setting for detachable carry handles). The front sight is used to adjust elevation until the group sits in the center of the target. Windage is adjusted on the rear sight. Once this process is complete, the elevation knob can be adjusted without losing the zero. Simply return the sight to the bottom of its travel range, which should be at or near the “3/8” setting. Other variations of the battle zero exist, generally with changes to the zeroing distance. That is a topic for another day, though.

Another sight setting is the “z” found on some detachable carry handles, which is used when sighting in at 25 meters for a battle zero. The rear sight is turned to “z” before shooting. Impacts on paper are then adjusted for elevation with the front sight as would be done with other A2 sights.

The “z” setting on the elevation drum is used for zeroing, shown here on a Palmetto State Armory upper

Competition Zero

A competition zero, in contrast, is intended to be dialed. The elevation knob should be bottomed out, and the rear sight moved to its mechanical middle. To find the middle of the rear sight, dial all the way to one side then count the clicks until the sight maxes out on the opposite side. Simply divide that number by two, then return the sight to its mechanical center. Marking that setting on the windage with a paint pen is a good idea. A target is then placed at the desired distance, generally 100 or 200 yards. As groups are shot and the zero is refined, the shooter writes down the number of clicks of windage and elevation that are needed at that range. Witness marks with a paint pen are a good idea for this zero, too.

Shooters should note that most competition-oriented A2 sights have clicks that are finer than the military sights. Most military sights have 1 MOA clicks on a rifle-length gas system. Competition sights often have 1/2 MOA or 1/4 MOA clicks. Some of those competition sights will not have numeric markings on the elevation knob either.

On The Range – Battle Zero

The “3/8″ elevation setting on a properly-zeroed gun will be a 300-meter zero with military ammo. The 5.56×45 is a fast round that has little drop out to 300 meters. For all shots inside 300, simply place align the sights and put the front post on or below the target. As long as the target is larger than about a 6” circle, it will be a hit. As distances increase the rear sight can be dialed up. Each number represents how many hundred meters that setting corresponds to. One full revolution of the elevation knob returns to “3/8” which is the 800-meter setting.

The A2 Sight: How It Works, And How To Use It

Rear sight dialed up to 400 meters

This style of zero is ideal for more real-world use. The sight is generally left on the 300-meter setting, but it is possible to dial up if the need arises. How useful in combat is an iron sight dialed up to 800 meters? I am not the right person to ask, but it does seem rather optimistic. But having the ability to dial in 400 or 500 meters and maintain a good sight picture without holding over does not hurt the odds of hitting at those ranges when compared to a more basic sight. The elevation returns to its zero easily after being dialed because it hits a hard stop at the bottom of its range.

Windage can still be dialed if desired, but holding off is usually the better idea. The windage knob does not have a solid mechanical stop when returned to the zero position, so it requires a little more effort to keep track of the setting.

The A2 Sight: How It Works, And How To Use It

Elevation settings are marked on the top and sides of the knob

On The Range – Competition Zero

Simply hitting a torso-size target is not good enough for this intended use. The goal of this zero is precision, so the appropriate correction is dialed in for each range, as well as for the wind condition. This is not meant for rapid adjustments that are just “good enough” to score hits. When firing is finished, the sights are returned to their mechanical zero points so they are ready for future use.

A competition zero relies heavily on a data book. It is the only authoritative source for that particular gun with its load of choice. The advantage of this style of zeroing is precision. A well-loved log book with information on drop and windage with specific ammunition at different ranges in different weather conditions can produce very accurate fire. A log book can also track different types of ammunition, should the need arise to change loads.

Conclusion

Almost any quality optic is more functional than iron sights. But among the iron sights fielded on American rifles, the A2 sights are among the best. The A2 sight is still very capable, whether you want to LARP with an M-16A2 clone or compete in rifle matches. If you want to try your hand at shooting with irons, these are the ones to get.

COVID Vaccines Are The Biggest Corruption Scandal In The History Of The World, Says MEP

0

This article was originally published by Rhoda Wilson at The Daily Exposé.

“The purchase of 4.5 billion doses of the Covid-19 vaccine for 450 million EU residents is the biggest corruption scandal in the history of mankind,” Mislav Kolakusic, a Member of the European Parliament (“MEP”), said.  That’s 10 doses for every man, woman, and child in Europe – including newborn babies – for an injection that no one knows the ingredients of.

Yesterday, 10 MEPs asked Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission – also known as “Mrs. 4.5 billion doses” – when she would make communications she had with Pfizer regarding the procurement of the “vaccines” publicly available.  Mislav Kolakusic was one of those MEPS and he tweeted the video below.

Mislav Kolakusic on Twitter, 12 October 2022 (2 mins)

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla refused to participate in the European Parliament’s special committee on Covid-19 (“COVI”) to answer questions.  In his stead, Janine Small, President of International Developed Markets, faced the committee. MEP Rob Roos asked her whether Pfizer had tested if their “vaccine” stopped transmission of the virus before the product entered the market.  Small said “no.” “Get vaccinated for others” was always a lie, tweeted Roos.

You can watch MEPs question Janine Small and her answers during COVI’s hearing on 10 October 2022 HERE (1 hr 49 mins).

MEPs Hold a Press Conference

On Tuesday, the day after the COVI hearing, six MEPs held a press conference in the European Parliament exposing what happened. #PhizerLiedPeopleDied, MEP Cristian Terhes tweeted.

The six MEPs were: Francesca Donato (Italy), Cristian Terhes (Romania), Virginie Jeron (France), Sylvia Limmer (Germany), Ivan Sincic (Croatia), Christine Anderson (Germany)

Albert Bourla’s representative “was unable, incapable, or unwilling to answer many of the questions asked by my colleagues,” said Terhes. “What has Pfizer got to hide? … [When we asked] when are they going to fully release these [heavily redacted] contracts the representative of Pfizer, who was sent to replace the CEO of Pfizer, said that they can’t fully disclose these contracts because they have some commercial secrets … and they have to protect their interests.  What about the interests of our people?”

“The conduct of Pfizer-Biotech, the biggest pharmaceutical company involved in the covid-19 vaccine production, is deplorable and unacceptable in a democratic framework such as the European Union one,” Donato said. Adding:

“Yesterday … Albert Bourla refused to appear to answer our legitimate questions about his private text messages with the president of EU commission, Ursula von der Leyen, that have already been considered to be irregular … refusal by President von der Leyen to disclose the content of their text messages … the denial by Mr. Bourla to appear in front of the parliament [ ] followed by the reticent behavior of Mrs. Small yesterday casts concerning shadows on the legitimacy of the entire contract award process leaving suspicion of corruption to emerge.”

“It is a scandal that Mr. Bourla is shirking his duty to speak and answer questions after having made the deal of his life,” Limmer said. “[Yesterday] Mrs. Small … either pretended to be ignorant or was unwilling to address any of my questions.”

“A mandatory study on safety for pregnant women was quietly discontinued by Pfizer. Preliminary data from v-safe, a program of the US Authority CDC, seems to show a devastating rate of spontaneous abortions in pregnant women. Mrs. Small declined to comment.”

“It is a major disgrace that the Pfizer CEO, Albert Bourla, failed to present himself before our committee. And it is an even bigger disgrace that he has no real intention of appearing, ever,” Sincic said. “So, I will suggest to the Secretariat that invites our guests … that he should be invited using a text message and not an email next time, perhaps he will appear in that way.”

Sincic reminded us of a huge Pfizer scandal 10 years ago where Pfizer was penalized $60 million for bribing Croatian doctors responsible for the registration of medicines and evaluating clinical trials.  And that this is not the only scandal involving Pfizer. “So, when you have a company like that, using text messages to communicate with the head of the [European] Commission, [then we must ask] what is happening here?  Is this a conflict of interest? Yes of course it is. And a conflict of interest is the first step towards corruption … We were discussing these text messages some time ago and we called upon the President of the Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, to resign and I will repeat my demand for her to resign.”

“Yesterday’s session of the Covid committee showed, yet again, that the EU Parliament is nothing but a gigantic show of democracy illusion to fool the peoples of Europe into thinking their interests were represented in Parliament. It is not,” Anderson said.

“Not only do the invited panelists… or Ministers of Health from the member states not answer any of our questions. No, they continue to spread disinformation about the safety and efficacy of mRNA injections. They continue to lie about and downplay, outright deny, the harmful effects of these injections … In short, they continue to demonstrate their utter contempt for the peoples of the EU.”  Anderson has called for a formal committee of inquiry that would “get to the bottom of things and would put an end to their plot of stripping the people of freedom, democracy and the rule of law.”

FBI Was Court Ordered to Turn Over Documents on Seth Rich 14 Days Ago – For Some Reason They Are Refusing the Request… Why Is That?

0

In September US District Judge for the Eastern District of Texas ordered the FBI to “produce the information it possesses related to Seth Rich’s laptop.”

In our previous reporting The Gateway Pundit’s Joe Hoft reported on the FBI’s refusal to release documents on Seth Rich. To this day we still don’t have good information on Seth Rich’s murder. He was shot in the back twice in the early morning near his home. He died later in the hospital. The police recorded the event as a robbery and yet Rich’s phone, wallet, and personal items were with him when the police arrived.

Some people suspect Rich was the source of the emails that went to WikiLeaks before the 2016 Election related to Hillary and her corrupt actions over many years. These emails were ignored by the corrupt mainstream media but were shared by Wikileaks and on social media at that time.

A short time after Seth Rich’s death, the Russia collusion story was created. It’s also suspected in certain circles that the Russia collusion story was created to keep eyes off of Seth Rich’s murder.

TRENDING: BREAKING: January 6 Committee Unanimously Votes to Subpoena Trump

The FBI denied possessing any information or files related to the Seth Rich murder. But that was not true and eventually, the information was discovered.

Attorney Ty Clevenger brought the government to court and last month the FBI was ordered to turn over information on Seth Rich’s computer that they possessed, and documents pertaining to Crowdstrike and the purported hack of the DNC in 2016.

And now, once again, the FBI is stalling!

What are they hiding? Why won’t they turn the information over?

Ty Clevenger at Lawflog reported:

Yesterday the government asked for more time to respond to U.S. District Judge Amos Mazzant’s September 29, 2022 order directing the FBI to produce all records related to Seth Rich’s laptop. Somewhat relatedly, the FBI is withholding three reports produced by CrowdStrike in August of 2016 regarding the purported hack of the Democratic National Committee.

First the laptop. The FBI wants two more weeks so it can prepare a motion for reconsideration. As a courtesy, we have not objected to the request. According to the government’s motion, “the FBI is uncertain how to comply with the Court’s order as written, and the FBI is seeking input from a pending appellate consultation regarding the order to properly address this issue.”

The order itself is pretty straightforward, at least with respect to Seth’s personal laptop, because it directs the FBI to “produce the information it possesses related to Seth Rich’s laptop and responsive to Plaintiff’s FOIA requests within 14 days of this Order.” On the other hand, the order does not discuss Seth’s work laptop, which is also in the possession of the FBI.

I’m waiting for the FBI to explain what it thinks needs to be clarified, then I may be filing my own motion for clarification. Meanwhile, the FBI has cited only one narrow basis for withholding the records related to Seth’s laptop, namely his privacy. I’m not sure why it takes four weeks and an appellate lawyer to figure out why the judge did or didn’t get that issue right.

In any event, I’m reminded of something that I learned almost thirty years ago when I was a newspaper reporter: people with nothing to hide don’t try to hide nothing.

President Trump Loves the Idea of Testifying Before Sham Jan 6 Committee Per Source Close to the President

0

A source close to President Trump says that he would love to speak before the sham Jan 6 committee.

Earlier today President Trump released the following truths. In the first truth, the President asked why corrupt Speaker Nancy Pelosi didn’t call in troops before Jan 6?

He also asks why the Jan 6 committee never looked into voter fraud. This is why Americans were protesting the 2020 Election in the first place.

TRENDING: BREAKING: January 6 Committee Unanimously Votes to Subpoena Trump

The President also asks why the Jan 6 committee waited until now to call him in to testify.

All of America knows the Jan 6 committee is a corrupt group of DC gangsters out to get President Trump because he stands with the American people.

FOX News reports that a source close to the President says that he would love to speak before the corrupt committee.

Former President Donald Trump “loves the idea of testifying” before the House select committee investigating January 6th, a source close to Trump told Fox News Digital just after the panel unanimously voted to subpoena him.

The source said that if Trump complied with the subpoena and testified, he would “talk about how corrupt the election was, how corrupt the committee was, and how Nancy Pelosi did not call up the National Guard that Trump strongly recommended for her to do three days earlier on January 3, 2021.”

The source told Fox News Digital that it is unclear at this point if Trump actually will testify before the committee, but stressed that Trump “loves the idea.”

That would be good TV – finally something to watch.

Lapdog Reporters Slobber All Over Joe Biden For Leaving Extra $60 to Los Angeles Taqueria Worker

0

For four years Donald Trump donated his presidential salary of $400,000 to charitable causes and the media totally ignored his generosity.

However, the same media sycophants who ignored Trump’s generosity are now slobbering all over Joe Biden for tipping a taqueria worker $60.

Joe Biden gave $60 of taxpayer-funded money to a taco shop worker and the media thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Biden has never earned an honest dollar in his life.

TRENDING: BREAKING: January 6 Committee Unanimously Votes to Subpoena Trump

He has spent decades feeding at the trough of the hardworking American taxpayer and sold out his public office to the highest bidder.

Biden is a lifelong grifter and criminal career politician.

Joe Biden visited Tacos 1986 near UCLA with Democrat Mayoral candidate Karen Bass.

“Biden ordered a quesadilla asada and a quesadilla de pollo – giving him an option of steak or chicken, along with four tacos de pollo that were offered on the mixed English and Spanish menu of the Tijuana-style establishment.” The Daily Mail reported.

Biden gave a little extra money to the worker for the next customers.

Big deal.

The media was impressed with Joe Biden.

Reporters slobbered all over Joe Biden for spending $16 at the taco shop and leaving a little extra cash.

Concealed Carry Corner: Importance of Quality Holsters

0

Welcome back to another edition of Concealed Carry Corner. Last week, we discussed the struggles of carrying larger handguns and the fight against carrying fatigue. If you happened to miss that article be sure to check it out here. Earlier this week, I started talking to a group of friends which were made up of experienced as well as new shooters. The new shooters were talking about the struggle of finding the right holster for them. It’s a journey we all end up going through when we first start out but it’s never a bad thing to look at some of the options available on the market today. Holster selection can be tricky so let’s look at some things to consider as well as avoid when looking at the importance of quality holsters.

Concealed Carry Corner: Importance of Quality Holsters

Styles Of Holsters

Finding the right style of holster for you will be 90% of your success or misery when it comes to carrying a concealed firearm. Depending on your preferences, there are countless different options including single-clip holsters, double-clip holsters, hybrid holsters, or single clips with a claw attachment. When you’re trying to decipher everything it’s always helpful to look at your options to see what style is best for your everyday carry. Once you get the overall style down, the next big decision will be holster material.

Whether it’s all Kydex, leather holsters, or hybrid systems, there are countless options. I’ve written a number of various articles about Kydex vs leather in terms of comfort and reliability. Depending on the amount of accessories you decide to put on your handgun, you may have to go with a Kydex holster since leather holsters don’t do well with weapon mounted lights. While I enjoy both, the overall longevity and durability has sold me for Kydex holsters when it comes to everyday carry.

My Personal Choice

Throughout all my gun choices and countless holster purchases, I finally found the best holster fit for my daily carry life but it was no easy task. I started out with a ton of belt mounted outside the waistband holsters before finally trying to switch over to inside the waistband style holsters. Once I decided to stick with IWB holsters, I started playing around with various attachments to give me the best concealablity without adding a ton of bulk. After 6-8 months, I added a secondary claw to help conceal larger handguns and never looked back. Finding the correct style of holster isn’t an overnight process but takes time as well as experience to decide on the right model for you. I’ve even branched out and tried more leather options but my absolute go-to holsters are still Kydex holsters.

Things To Avoid

While I was sitting around the table talking to my friends who are new to carrying concealed, one said he was just tucking his handgun in his waistband with no holster or support at all. In the beginning, this may not seem like all that bad of an idea. You can carry whatever gun you want without even having to worry about a specific holster for your gun. What most people don’t see is the fact the trigger is completely exposed to be snagged accidentally. There’s no protection from accidents or getting snagged on something and having the firearm discharge accidentally. The risk of accidentally dropping your firearm drastically goes up without a holster whether its bending over and picking up the dropped change or pen.

Cloth holsters that are a quick fix at most of the big box stores is definitely something you should avoid at all costs. The cloth universal holsters not only offer zero support but they are bulky and just don’t carry like a quality holster. If you decide to use a cloth universal holster, the cloth can break down over time making the structure compromised. There are a few cases online of people carrying in a worn-out cloth holster and as a result, the holster ended up engaging the trigger shooting the carrier either in the hip or right through the meat portion of a man’s rump. It may not happen often but these things do occur so it’s important to take everything into consideration.

Alterate Holster Options

The vast majority of people who carry concealed firearms will either choose outside or inside the waistband holsters, but not everyone sticks to that method. Whether it’s shoulder holsters, ankle holsters or off-body carrying, there are plenty of other options and each has its own benefits. I absolutely love carrying with a shoulder holster during those long cross country road trips.

If you want to carry a backup gun along with the main firearm like most police officers do, having an ankle holster is another great option as well. Neither of these is a great option for daily carry every day but do not sleep on these carry methods for specific circumstances for carrying a concealed firearm. I’ve written complete articles on every single topic I’ve just spoke about but looking at the big picture it’s important to have an understanding of your needs and what tools are neccassiry to fulfill those needs.

Overall Thoughts

Holsters can be a tricky learning curve when it comes to learning how to carry a concealed firearm. It’s always a good idea to not cheap out but rather buy quality items. Sifting through the variety of holsters can be challenging but working the endless options to find that perfect holster is truly rewarding. There are plenty of options that are easy to purchase such as cloth holsters or not using a holster at all. It may seem like an easy fix but in the long run, it will make you waste money where you could have put it towards something quality. It’s always worth taking the long road to do it right rather than the easy road to fill a void quickly.

What do you guys think are some of the best holster methods for you? Was it a long process or did you just pick a style and work through it until you became comfortable?
