‘Significant Evidence of Fraud’ – Stalinist New York Attorney General Says Trump Misled Banks, Tax Officials

President Trump

New York Attorney General Letitia James late Tuesday night told a court its investigators uncovered ‘significant evidence of fraud’ as part of a civil fraud probe into whether the Trump Organization inflated values of some of its properties.

Letitia James’ investigators claimed in the filing it had “developed significant additional evidence indicating that the Trump Organization used fraudulent or misleading asset valuations to obtain a host of economic benefits, including loans, insurance coverage, and tax deductions.”

Recall, Letitia James was seen on video cursing and threatening President Trump after she won her election in November 2018.

“Oh, we’re definitely going to sue him [Trump]. We’re going to be a real pain in the ass. He’s going to know my name personally.” Letitia James told a reporter.

James has followed through with her threat and now she’s gunning for Don Jr. and Ivanka as well.

According to court documents filed earlier this month, Donald Trump’s two children were subpoenaed on December 1.

Letitia James used her findings to force Trump, Don Jr., and Ivanka to comply with her subpoena seeking testimony (perjury trap).

AP reported:

The New York attorney general’s office late Tuesday told a court its investigators have uncovered evidence that former President Donald Trump’s company used “fraudulent or misleading” asset valuations to get loans and tax benefits.

The court filing said state authorities haven’t yet decided whether to bring a lawsuit in connection with the allegations, but that investigators need to question Trump and his two eldest children as part of the probe.

In the court documents, Attorney General Letitia James’ office gave its most detailed accounting yet of a long-running investigation of allegations that Trump’s company exaggerated the value of assets to get favorable loan terms, or misstated what land was worth to slash its tax burden.

The Trump Organization, it said, had overstated the value of land donations made in New York and California on paperwork submitted to the IRS to justify several million dollars in tax deductions.

When giving estimates of Trump’s wealth, the company misreported the size of his Manhattan penthouse, saying it was nearly three times its actual size — a difference in value of about $200 million, James’ office said, citing deposition testimony from Trump’s longtime financial chief Allen Weisselberg, who was charged last year with tax fraud in a parallel criminal investigation.

“She defrauded New Yorkers by basing her entire candidacy on a promise to get Trump at all costs without having seen a shred of evidence and in violation of every conceivable ethical rule,” the Trump Organization wrote in a statement on Wednesday. “Three years later she is now faced with the stark reality that she has no case.”

The Trump Organization, which is currently under indictment in Manhattan, is also facing a criminal investigation by Mimi Rocah, the Trump-hating Democrat DA in Westchester County, New York.

The DA’s office is probing to see if the Trump Organization misled the town of Ossining about the golf course’s property value to pay less taxes.

Rochah, who has repeatedly attacked Trump publicly, is on a fishing expedition looking for a crime.
