POTD: Green Berets in Republic of Korea

Ever since photography was invented in the early 1800s, it has been a medium of limitless possibilities Today most people have at least a smartphone to capture what’s going on around, and professionals use even more advanced cameras and optics. At TFB we’ve been running our Photo Of The Day for years, where we share the best photos with “firearms” as the lowest common denominator. Today we visit the Rodrigues Live Fire Complex in the Republic of Korea. We see Green Berets with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) and Tactical Air Control Party specialists from 604th ASOS (Air Support Squadron) train in combat marksmanship and close-quarters battle.

This training affords 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) the ability to increase capabilities to accurately engage targets in a dynamic and stressful environment alongside conventional partners.

The paper targets just keep on coming.

Note the Glock with red dot, compensator and flashlight.
