Last year I reviewed the Concamo Ghosthood and some of the components in their Confusion Camouflage System. I was quite satisfied with the quality and performance of their products, and their camoflage which consists of 25 superimposed layers which create a “chaotic illusion”. They claim that the subconscious mind is overwhelmed by the camouflage pattern, and begins to discern natural shapes in it.
Concamo & Ghosthood @ TFB:
At EnforceTac last week, I had the pleasure to finally meet up with the team at Concamo and learn more about their products. They had a great sample of this to welcome any visitors to their stand.
At EnforceTac 2023 we took a closer look at what’s old and new from Concamo. Their products include everything from:
- Camouflage aids
- Bags, rucksacks
- Other textile products
- Gloves, belts, headwear, accessories
- Uniforms, incl. reflective clothing
- Personal equipment
Here are a few images from Concamo’s stand at EnforceTac 2023.
Winter is soon history here in Europe, but I’d love to try the winter Ghosthood next season.
The tripod and firearm in Conamo wrap. These things just disappear.
Here is a brief history of Concamo and their historic developments. They cooperate with various certified suppliers of the German Armed Forces. In March 2018, they premiered at the IWA trade show with their CONCAMO Green pattern. The first German federal government SF unit adopted Concamo Green even before the market launch. Since August 2018, it was available to the general public. Multiple government users have adopted Concamo Green for official use. In March 2019, CONCAMO Brown was released as the second pattern at IWA. In January 2021, Concamo Beige was launched.
Hopefully, we can return with a review of some of the new products later this year. I’m quite interested in doing tests with various night vision devices and thermals.
