“The View” co-host Ana Navarro is perpetually disgruntled.
During a segment on the happiness index in countries across the world, Navarro took time to complain about her home state of Florida while other hosts insulted America.
After co-hosts of The View discussed why people in Nordic countries rank so highly in research studies measuring happiness, Navarro slammed her home state as a place of misery on Friday.
The ladies of “The View” slammed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, R., and his policies.
Navarro claimed that “insanity” and “manic paranoia” are being promoted in Florida by DeSantis for “political purposes.”
They are banning absolutely everything that isn’t the kitchen sink, and tomorrow, I may wake up, and the kitchen sink has been banned,” she said. “They are terrifying teachers. People don’t want to be teachers in Florida.”
After the break, the co-hosts discussed Finland’s ranking as the world’s happiest country.
Navarro:So Sunny told me this morning that I need to find my happiness…she’s sending me to Finland.
Hostin:She was upset at like 8:30…I was like, you need to go to Finland.
Navarro:Maybe if you lived in Florida, you would be upset 24 hours a day too.
Hostin:That’s true.
Behar:Time to move.
Navarro:But I was noticing, the three top countries of happiness are Finland, Denmark, Iceland…que frio..I mean there’s got to be some sort of connection there because the average temperature is 19 degrees.
Hostin:Yay it was cold.
Navarro:In Miami, it’s 74. So I was looking at this application process, and you have to send evidence, a video with evidence, that you’re secretly an inner Finn. I was thinking of applying after you suggested it, but I’m not sure I could pass as an inner Finn. I went online to try to see, you know, Cuban restaurants in Finland. (Spanish) in Finland…best taco places…
Hostin:They’ve got good fish.
(Crosstalk)
Navarro:I’m telling you right now, pickled herring ain’t gonna do it for me.
Haines:I think the key there is what you said. They talk a lot about being one with nature…but it’s also about having less. I think specifically in this country being the wealthiest country on the globe…despite the poverty that we still experience, it’s a country of excess…
Behar:That’s right.
Haines:That’s a bucket you are filling with a hole in it, it will never be enough.
Behar:Keeping up with the Joneses they call that.
Haines:It’s never enough money. It’s never enough power.
What exactly does Vice President Kamala Harris do all day? Even Harris herself is baffled when asked to describe her job duties.
With Harris at the helm in her role as border czar, the border crisis has only gotten worse.
When Harris once accidentally went near the border, she travelled instead to a groundbreaking of a 125-mile-long transmission line that will transport wind and solar energy, not to the southern border where millions pour across trafficking drugs, weapons, and humans.
DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has repeated the claim that the “border is secure” despite the fact that 5 million illegals have flooded across the border in the first two years of the Biden administration.
TGP reported that US Border Patrol Chief Raúl Ortiz, testifying before congressional Republicans at the border in McAllen, Texas, defied DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and President Biden by saying the border is in “crisis” and the US does not have control of its border.
Now, Congressional Republicans have introduced a resolution calling for Harris to be removed from her position as border czar.
On Friday, Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) reintroduced the resolution which states:
Resolved, That the House of Representatives urges the Biden administration to:
(1) remove Vice President Kamala Harris as the head of any executive branch task force or strategy relating to immigration;
(2) appoint an experienced and competent leader to replace Vice President Kamala Harris as the head of the Biden administration’s strategy to address the root causes of migration;
(3) recognize that border security is national security;
(4) immediately provide U.S. Customs and Border Protection with the adequate support and resources to do their job effectively and adequately;
(5) immediately reinistate the Migrant Protection Protocols;
(6) take action to protect American communities from fentanyl; and
(7) stop allowing politics in Washington to cloud their judgment regarding policies implemented at the southern border.
Republican Texas Rep. Ronny Jackson on Friday reintroduced a resolution, first obtained by the Daily Caller, that calls for Vice President Kamala Harris to be removed from her position as border czar.
Friday marks two years since President Joe Biden appointed Harris as head of the border crisis, something Republicans are saying she and the president have completely failed to handle.
“Kamala Harris has done nothing to ‘address the root cause of migration’ or stop the influx of illegal immigrants coming across our border daily. She continues to sit by as the number of illegal immigrants coming across our border skyrockets, fentanyl deaths explode, and CBP officers are left to fend for themselves. She has completely betrayed the American people by blatantly disregarding her duties as Border Czar,” Jackson told the Caller before introducing the resolution.
“Enough is enough! President Biden must remove Kamala Harris and replace her with someone who will put Americans first and stop the crisis at our southern border. Politics should never compromise our national security. We need change now!,” Jackson added.
This week, House Republicans passed a bill that aims to give parents more control over the education of their children by increasing transparency.
Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer has called the bill Orwellian. Why must Democrats always engage in projection?
Parents have every right to know what their children are being exposed to in schools. Especially public schools which are built and run on tax dollars provided by parents!
House Republicans narrowly passed the Parents Bill of Rights Act on Friday, sending the proposal along to the Senate, where it is highly unlikely to receive a vote.
H.R. 5 passed in a 213-208 vote Friday morning, with five Republicans — Reps. Andy Biggs, Ken Buck, Matt Gaetz, Mike Lawler and Matt Rosendale — joining all Democrats to vote against the measure. Rep. Julia Letlow, R-La., the bill’s sponsor, shook hands and fist bumped rejoicing members upon the bill’s passage.
“Today was a win for every mother or father, but most importantly for every student in America,” Speaker Kevin McCarthy said at a press conference following the vote, noting thousands of parents supported the bill.
Backers of the bill say H.R. 5 has five core principles: Parents have the right to know what their children are being taught, to be heard, to see the school budget and spending, to protect their children’s privacy and to keep their children safe.
“It is not an attempt to have Congress dictate their [schools] curriculum, or determine the books in the library,” Letlow explained. “Instead, this bill aims to bring more transparency and accountability to education, allowing parents to be informed and when they have questions and concerns to lawfully bring to their local school board,” she said.
And here is Chuck Schumer:
This MAGA House Republican school control bill is Orwellian to the core.
When it comes to the Alvin Bragg prosecution, Trump has found an unlikely defender in former New York governor and Democrat, Andrew Cuomo.
Cuomo said that the case is all about politics, and obviously he is right. It’s just surprising to hear such a common sense opinion coming from someone who has been so openly critical of Trump.
It’s possible that there are lots of other Democrats who know this in their hearts, but can’t say it out loud.
Andrew Cuomo blasts Manhattan DA Bragg’s Trump probe: ‘I think it’s all politics’
Former Democratic New York Governor Andrew Cuomo criticized Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg over his focus on potentially prosecuting former President Donald Trump and suggested the move is politically motivated.
“I don’t understand why Bragg is putting such emphasis on this case,” the former governor told WABC Radio on Friday night.
“A person breaks the law I get it, but on the state side this is a misdemeanor case. It’s really a federal case because he needs it to be a campaign finance fraud case which is a federal case and that’s what Bragg is going to have to do to get a felony out of this.”
Cuomo said that the public is generally “cynical” and “when they see prosecutors bringing these political cases” it just “affirms everybody’s cynicism.”
“I think it’s all politics and that’s what I think the people of this country are saying,” Cuomo continued. “It just feeds that anger and that cynicism and the partisanship. It’s a coincidence that Bragg goes after Trump and Tish James goes after Trump and Georgia goes after Trump? That’s all a coincidence? I think it feeds the cynicism and that’s the cancer in our body politic right now.”
President Trump earlier this week said he would be arrested on Tuesday in a pair of Truth Social posts.
House Republicans immediately launched an investigation into DA Alvin Bragg, accusing him of abusing his power.
Trump has been accused of paying Daniels ‘hush payments’ through his then-attorney Michael Cohen in a scheme to silence her and stop the story about their alleged affair from being published in the National Enquirer.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg elevated the Stormy ‘hush payment’ case from a misdemeanor to a felony earlier this year in a effort to ‘get Trump.’
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer and House Administration Committee Chair Bryan Steil on Monday sent Bragg a letter demanding testimony and documents related to his investigation into the ‘hush payment’ after Trump said his arrest was imminent.
“Your letter … is an unprecedent inquiry into a pending local prosecution. The letter only came after Donald Trump created a false expectation that he would be arrested the next day and his lawyers reportedly urged you to intervene,” District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office wrote in the letter House Republicans Jordan, Comer and Steil.
Bragg, who is trying to prosecute a federal matter out of the state of New York, had the gall to claim the House GOP probe is an overreach into local matters.
“The letter’s requests are an unlawful incursion into New York’s sovereignty,” Bragg’s office said.
Reps. Jim Jordan, James Comer and Bryan Steil responded to Bragg in an eight page letter.
“Notably, your reply letter did not dispute the central allegations at issue—that you, under political pressure from left-wing activists and former prosecutors in your office, are reportedly planning to use an alleged federal campaign finance violation, previously declined by federal prosecutors, as a vehicle to extend the statute of limitations on an otherwise misdemeanor offense and indict for the first time in history a former President of the United States. Moreover, you are apparently attempting to upgrade a misdemeanor charge to a felony using an untested legal theory at the same time when you are simultaneously downgrading felony charges to misdemeanors in a majority of other cases in your jurisdiction.” the House Republicans wrote.
“Contrary to the central argument set forth in your letter, this matter does not simply involve local or state interests. Rather, the potential criminal indictment of a former President of the United States by an elected local prosecutor of the opposing political party (and who will face the prospect of re-election) implicates substantial federal interests, particularly in a jurisdiction where trial-level judges also are popularly elected,” they wrote.
Jordan, Comer and Steil told Alvin Bragg he has until March 31 to comply with their demands.
Mixed martial arts and UFC fighter Holly Holm used her post-fight moments tonight to call out the sexualization of children.
She said: “I feel like I have the platform to say it, I need to say it. I just feel it’s really sad, all the sexualization of our children right now and we need to protect them. Whatever that may be, let’s protect the children.”
Watch below:
Absolutely BASED!@HollyHolm calls out the sexualization of children after her UFC win tonight!
what a true champion I shared this on all 3 of my platforms I pray God elevates this womans skill to draw all attention to her example of how a true hero should act and how this WOMAN should be held as an example od HUMANITY AT ITS BEST!

Thank you @HollyHolm for not caving to the woke mob. Great performance tonight and you have supporters backing you.
👏🏼 A lot of respect for that… I know woke is coming for her. But she’s grounded and understands that this is ludicrous and sad times we live in. As a father, I applaud her and respect her 100%
UFC San Antonio results: Holly Holm dominates Yana Santos with her wrestling
Holly Holm and Yana Santos squared off in a women’s Bantamweight contest earlier tonight (Sat., March 25, 2023) at UFC San Antonio from inside AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. In a strong showing, Holm won every round.
It took less than 10 seconds for Santos to double up on the right hand and crash into the clinch. The two jockeyed for position along the fence, reversing back-and-forth for a couple of minutes. They broke apart, Santos threw just a couple kicks, and then Holm initiated the clinch.
Yup, it was going to be that kind of fight. There were a couple more occasions were the two separated, but the kickboxing exchanges never lasted for terribly long. In the final minute, Holm started landed some good shots, and a slip from Santos landed her in top position.
Wouldn’t it be nice if more athletes spoke out like she did tonight?
Fi Duong entered the US Capitol in a Joker mask on January 6. Later FBI agents tried to set him up with Molotov cocktails.
PURE EVIL.Never, ever trust a SINGLE FBI agent even if your lift depends on it.
The FBI under dirty Chris Wray even sent operatives to befriend Trump supporters and convince them to commit illegal acts of violence.
FBI agents befriended Fi Duong while working undercover in the Trump crowds on January 6.
Undercover FBI agents then targeted and befriended Trump supporter Fi Duong following the January 6 Fedsurrection.
The FBI agent Jason Jankovitch tried to convince Duong to make a molotov cocktail so they could blame Trump supporters for carrying explosives.
The undercover FBI agent failed despite his desperate attempts to set up Duong so that they could jail him for several years. So the FBI added a second agent to try to set Fuong up. Despite their planning, plotting, staging and urging, Fi Duong would not mess with the FBI’s Molotov cocktails.
So the FBI swept in and charged him for entering the US Capitol and committing no violence.
This is how the FBI rolls. NEVER trust the FBI with more than a hello.
The FBI undercover agent took a different approach with Fi Duong
After Duong allegedly brought up the topic of molotov cocktails in relation to the large number of glass bottles he had, the agent began pushing Duong to actually assemble and test an incendiary weapon
Video was released from an undercover police officer this past week. The police officer was illegally urging Trump supporters to move forward, climb scaffolding and break the law. This is more proof of the Fed-Surrection.
Yesterday, a video captured by an undercover police officer on J6 was leaked

A Spanish third-division match between Cordoba and Racing de Ferrol was suspended on Saturday after Serbian defender Dragisa Gudelj suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed on the pitch.
Dragisa Gudelj, the brother of Serbia midfielder Nemanja Gudelj who plays for Sevilla, suffered a cardiac arrest during the 11th minute of the first half.
An ambulance immediately responded and drove onto the field to assist Gudelj, and then transported him to a nearby hospital once his condition had stabilized.
Doctors performed CPR on the field and successfully revived Gudelj. They treated him for seven minutes, including cardiac massage, until the ambulance arrived, according to Marca.
The stars of Cordoba broke down in tears as they witnessed one of their own get medical attention.
The center-back was conscious when he was taken away in an ambulance, and the fans gave him a standing ovation as he left the stadium.
After he regained consciousness, the 25-year-old player seemed determined to continue despite the scary incident, but he was taken to Reina Sofia hospital for observation.
The club later said that Gudelj is “stable” but under “close surveillance” in the ICU.
WATCH:
Dragisa Gudelj collapsed on the pitch today in the 11th minute of the first half, and was taken by ambulance after collapsing in Córdoba.

Ford says EV unit losing billions, should be seen as startup
Ford Motor Co.’s electric vehicle business has lost $3 billion before taxes during the past two years and will lose a similar amount this year as the company invests heavily in the new technology.
The figures were released Thursday as Ford rolled out a new way of reporting financial results. The new business structure separates electric vehicles, the profitable internal combustion and commercial vehicle operations into three operating units.
Company officials said the electric vehicle unit, called “Ford Model e,” will be profitable before taxes by late 2026 with an 8% pretax profit margin. But they wouldn’t say exactly when it’s expected to start making money.
Chief Financial Officer John Lawler said Model e should be viewed as a startup company within Ford.
“As everyone knows, EV startups lose money while they invest in capability, develop knowledge, build (sales) volume and gain (market) share,” he said.
Model e, he said, is working on second- and even third-generation electric vehicles. It currently offers three EVs for sale in the U.S.: the Mustang Mach E SUV, the F-150 Lightning pickup and an electric Transit commercial van.
Why is everyone trying to reinvent the wheel?

Again, another excellent series of canvas tents made by Kodiak Canvas.
The Flex-Bow Tents are well-made, high-quality tents using the same Hydra-Shield cotton duck material as the previous 2 tents.
The Flew-Bow has 4-person, 6-person, and 8-person tent options. The only design difference between the three options is overall size and height.
For example, the 4-person tent is 9 ft by 8 ft and includes a nice tall ceiling at 6 foot 1 inch. The 6-person tent sports a 10 ft by 10 ft dimension with an impressive 6 foot 6 inches ceiling height. The 8-person tent is 10 ft by 14 ft with also a 6-foot 6-inch ceiling.

Large Cabin Canvas Tents
The next tents are the best options for larger excursions, adventures, events, or temporary housing.
These very large tents tend to be in the shape of a cabin and are big, strong, and durable. They are perfect for hunting outfitters and large group excursions in the cold outdoors.
These Elk Mountain Canvas Tents are well crafted and use synthetic polyester to reduce the negative issues associated with cotton canvas (such as weathering it and mildew problems).
This polyester canvas also makes Elk Mountain Tents stronger than the competition.
For example, Elk Mountain Tents use 11 oz canvas with a breaking strength of 449 lbs (warp direction) and 382 lbs (fill direction).
Making it significantly tougher than traditional canvas – which has a breaking strength of 382 (warp) and 241 (fill) for 12 oz canvas and about 210 (warp) and 140 (fill) for 10 oz canvas.
The tear strength is 67 lbs (warp) and 40 lbs (fill), roughlydouble that of the Sunforger canvas material used by other tent companies.
These large cabin-sized tents include 6 windows that provide as much openness or privacy as you desire.
These tents also have vent flaps at both ends of the tent to provide temperature and airflow control.
Each tent also has a built-in stove jack flap. This allows you to add a wood stove to the corner of your Elk Mountain Tent and provides a nice warm cabin feel even in the dead of winter.
I really like the quality construction of the materials for the Elk Mountain Tents.
They use steel poles for a strong internal frame that will withstand the most brutal wind and snow. And the canvas is both strong and durable polyester, which is stronger and more water-resistant than cotton canvas.
Plus, at Elk Mountain, you also get the best value for three reasons:
They don’t have retailers who take a cut of the profits, so there is no retail markup on their tents.
They don’t need to maintain a storefront (rent, utilities, displays, repairs, etc.) to lower prices.
3) They’ve streamlined the process – all three tent sizes include all the best features. This efficiency saves time and expenses, so they can focus on making more tents at affordable prices.
Simply put, low overhead = low prices.
So if you’re looking for a single-room, cabin-style tent, we highly recommend Elk Mountain Tents.
Speaking of Elk Mountain Tents, they were kind enough to send us a free 13 x 16 Wall Tent to build and review.

What Is A Canvas Tent?
To compare canvas tents to other tents, we first must understand what canvas is.
Canvas is an extremely durable plain-woven fabric used for making sails, tents, marquees, backpacks, and other items for which sturdiness is required.
Modern canvas is usually made from cotton or linen, although in the past, it was made from hemp, and now there are some polyester versions as well.
The root of the word canvas originated from the Greek word cannabis, meaning “made of hemp.” This makes sense since the earliest versions of canvas were made with hemp.
Fast forward to today’s tent industry, and you’ll find two main canvas fabric variations used – (however, there are more):
Linen Vs. Cotton Canvas
1. Cotton Canvas
Today, cotton is the most common fabric used for canvas tents.
It’s a medium-strength fabric that’s between 10 to 20 times stronger wet vs. dry. New cotton canvas will absorb water on first contact, and the cotton fibers will swell.
Cotton canvas is slower to dry and is somewhat susceptible to mildew or mold if not allowed to dry fully before storage. Cotton fabric is also flammable.
Additional chemicals and coatings are often used with cotton canvas tents to improve water resistance and reduce flammability.
2. Synthetic Fibers
A brand new type of canvas is now used for canvas tents – polyester canvas.
Polyester canvas reduces the initial water absorption, reduces the overall weight of the material, increases the strength, and lowers the mildew concerns.
Why Canvas Tents Are Better (pros/cons)
To understand why a canvas tent might be better for your needs, you first need to understand all the tent fabric options available to you.
Common tent fabric includes canvas, nylon, and polyester (plus many unique variations of these 3 options).
Now, nylon and polyesters are essential variations of plastic polymers. It’s the basic material you find in all the cheapest, lightweight tents on the market.
There are some differences between nylon and polyester, but for this article’s purpose, they are essentially the same – thin, lightweight, plastic fabrics.
On the other hand, Canvas is a heavy, plain-woven fabric typically made from cotton, hemp, or a blend (again, some newer ones are polyester-based).
So, you can break your tent material options into two categories: cotton vs. plastic.
So, let’s compare these two types of tents carefully, to understand the pros and cons of each.
Canvas Tent Pros and Cons
Canvas Tents Vs. “Plastic” Tents
Pros
Let’s begin with a few benefits of choosing a canvas tent over other types.
More Breathable
Canvas tents are more breathable than man-made nylon or polyester tents.
Remember, canvas is most often cotton based, and this cotton woven pattern, by design, has tiny holes in it.
Nylon is a man-made fabric based on polymers and thus provides essentially no natural air transfer through the material.
This means they will trap less moisture and have less condensation inside the tent. So you avoid the stuffy humidity you can get with plastic tents.
Quieter
Due to cotton’s properties and the canvas’s thickness and weight, canvas tent walls create a better sound barrier than other types of fabrics.
It naturally dampens outside sounds, and the canvas walls won’t flap as much in the breeze, and when they do, the flaps are quieter.
So, you’re more likely to sleep through windy conditions and hear less of your noisy neighbors in a busy campsite (especially in the early morning).
Better Insulators
Canvas is a much better insulator than nylon or polyester.
So they remain cooler for longer in the hot direct sunlight vs. man-made tent fabric. They also stay warmer longer in the cooler evenings.
Polymer tents don’t retain warmth or stay cool very well, so you end up with much larger, quicker temperature swings.
Have you ever tried taking an afternoon nap in a nylon or polyester tent? It can be sweltering with the sun beating down and the warmth getting trapped in the tent.
A canvas tent’s temperature swings are much smaller, making for a more comfortable camping experience.
Higher Durability
Canvas tents have two major durability advantages: UV rays and punctures.
First, man-made fabrics deteriorate in harmful UV rays. So, leaving your nylon or polyester tent in direct sunlight day after day will reduce its useful life.
This process weakens the fabric, which creates more sagging and becomes more susceptible to rips and tears.
Canvas can handle those harmful UV rays. Yes, over time, the sun’s rays will cause some slight discoloration of the canvas, but it won’t affect the durability and useful life of your tent compared to “plastic” tents.
While both canvas and nylon/polyester fabric will rip if met with a sharp object, canvas won’t rip or tear as easily.
This is where a canvas tent excels; if properly cared for, it can be a one-time, lifetime purchase.
I’ve never met anyone who’s still using the same plastic tent from 30 years ago…
Or many larger ones are designed to include a heating tent stove. This is due to the larger sizes of these tents overall.
You’ll find these large canvas tents include a stove jack vent flap in the tent’s roof. This allows you to generate and trap this heat inside the tent.
Of course, you must always follow the manufacturer’s specs carefully to avoid any mishaps, but it’s a nice bonus for those who like to camp, hunt, or fish in the winter.
You can even live comfortably in a tent with a stove in the dead of winter; the same cannot be said for nylon or polyester tents.
Cons
Of course, there are pluses and minuses, so let’s cover the minus.
Weathering
Brand-new cotton canvas tents must be weathered before they are completely leakproof. This is because of the small holes in the cotton weave pattern in the new “unweathered” canvas.
But this is normal and just a one-time concern.
You need to set it up in the rain (or hit it with a water hose) before you take it on its first adventure.
This process will force the cotton to absorb a small amount of water and swell the cotton fibers. This weathering process makes your new canvas watertight from now on.
It only needs to be weathered once, and you’ll be good to go from there.
Heavy
On a pound-per-square-inch basis, canvas is much heavier than plastic fabrics. And this weight difference gets more noticeable the bigger the tent.
For camping tents, as long as you can fit them in your car or truck, it’s no big deal. Yes, they can take a bit more time to set up, but it’s worth it for the benefits we discussed previously.
Mold / Mildew
Canvas is more susceptible to mold and mildew if not properly cared for.
This means you must take care and set it in the sunlight to dry before stuffing it back into its carrying case and into your gear storage closet at home.
If you do this, you won’t have any mildew, mold, or rot problems.
Upfront Cost
Canvas tents do cost more upfront.
The manufacturing process and material costs that go into a canvas tent are greater; thus, the tent itself costs more.
But if you take care of your tent, it can last a lifetime, often many decades longer than a cheaper plastic counterpart.
So if you’re looking for a tent you can enjoy for decades to come, invest in high quality, durable canvas tent!
Who Should Invest In A Canvas Tent (& Who Shouldn’t)
Avid Campers
If you go camping often or plan to in the future, you should upgrade to canvas. For all the reasons stated above, it just makes more sense.
It’s quieter, more durable, and a better insulator compared to cheap plastic tents.
It’s better to buy a high-quality tent once and use it for a lifetime than buy a cheap nylon tent every 2 or 3 years.
Fishing Expeditions
One of the great features of most canvas tents is their height.
Usually, you can stand up in them and store your fishing poles in the tent without breaking them down or storing them outside.
Plus, they’re the ideal shelter for ice fishing excursions. Canvas walls do a much better job of keeping you and your fishing mates warm while out on the lake.
Hunters
Serious hunters know multiday hunting excursions take a lot of gear, food, and supplies.
So, if you want to enjoy your downtime in camp after a long day of hunting, you’ll want a canvas tent.
It provides more room for all your gear and supplies, and you can add a stove for heat during cold weather hunts.
Expeditions / Rescue Operations
Canvas tents make the ideal home base for expeditions and rescue operations.
Like military operations outside the battlefield, they’re portable structures that can easily become remote command posts.
Special Events
Street fairs, farmers markets, backyard weddings, and small concerts are all great uses for a large tent. They will help keep guests warmer in the colder months and cooler in the hot months.
Most events only last for a short period (day, week, or month); once the event is over, you need to take down the structure.
This is where a canvas tent excels; portable and substantial.
Temporary Housing
Whether it’s a natural disaster or you are fumigating your home, you’ll need temporary shelter.
You may be able to move in with a friend or extended family for a few days, or you can break out your canvas tent and make it a cozy, comfortable adventure.
They are roomy, portable, and durable, making them an ideal backup option if you find yourself without a home for a while.
Final Thoughts
If you’ve made it to this point of the post, I know you’re seriously thinking about getting a canvas tent. And if you’ve read this site before, you know we focus on survival and preparedness.
Regarding survival and preparedness gear, it’s always better to invest in tools and supplies that will last in the harshest conditions.
And canvas tents are one smart upgrade that serious survivalists and avid campers should make.
Don’t be turned off by the slightly more upfront investment because the price is what you pay; value is what you get.
With canvas tents, you’re getting much more value for your dollars.
