Viktos Operatus XP Jeans Review: A Kick in the Pants

0

The world we live in seems to be crumbling around us these days. I want a pair of jeans that allows me to carry everything I need to deal with unforeseen events, without advertising my preparedness to every passerby. I need to wear these jeans for work and chores. They need to be functional. They need to last. They need to perform. Too tall an order? Nah. I spent the last 45 days wearing the Viktos Operatus XP jeans. For me, finding a set of durable work jeans was like Ahab hunting his white whale. It haunted me. I tried other brands of tactical jeans to no avail. They were made of paper-thin denim that decayed into tissue paper from the constant wear-and-tear of a large man doing ill-advised things in them.

Levi’s or Wranglers are fine, but don’t come with the extras some of us want and need in a do-everything jean. Some heavy-duty jeans, like those by Carhartt, are great if it’s 30 degrees outside. They won’t wear out, but you’ll be sweating balls in them until you dehydrate in anything but winter conditions. What I needed was a bit of a hybrid — something durable enough to survive the stresses placed upon it, yet light enough to wear in the summertime when I should be wearing shorts but can’t.

Above: The Operatus XP jeans are available in blue denim and black denim, aka “Nightfjall” if you prefer.

I also needed real pockets that you can, like, actually put stuff in. Too many jeans out there implement pockets as a design aesthetic rather than a functional feature. Pockets become decorative iPhone holders with gaudy stitching and — Odin help me — pocket flaps. I feel dirty even writing it. People who do stuff need pockets that hold stuff. Ever have a grenade and no place to put it? I know I’m not the only one.

How about belt loops that don’t shear off when I run a rigid nylon inner-belt through them? Durable zipper? Gusseted crotch? Yep. I need the things that make jeans more than a fashion statement. Jeans are a tool for me, just like my knife, my phone, or my pistol. They have to work when called on and make my job easier.

Enter the Operatus. No, it’s not a part of your anatomy or a poorly titled James Bond film. It’s the one jean I’ve found so far that meets or exceeds all of the above requirements. Let’s examine Operatus’ DNA and find out if these jeans might be a good fit for you, too.

Survival Traits

Some of us work for a living and can’t afford seven $100 pairs of jeans for every day of the week. Some of us also don’t like doing laundry and end up wearing our pants until they don’t need us inside them to stand up. I end up running my pants to an early death because I’m either too cheap or too busy. So, I need quality, and I need durability.

The Operatus uses a stretch denim blend that I’ve punished lately by wearing them daily without rotating them. I built a shed in them over the summer, which, in retrospect, makes little sense, but I did it. I also installed a lightbar on my wife’s truck wearing them. I thought for sure I’d scuff up the knees as I knelt on the driveway to route the switch wiring through the firewall, but Operatus held up. Viktos’ Attackposture fit also allowed me to squat and contort as needed, whether I was kitted up with rifle and armor running some drills or digging under my wife’s dashboard to figure out where the hell I was routing my wires.

Above: Details include a bidirectional zipper, gusseted crotch, and Viktos’ typical-style accents.

I kept Sharpies and pocket levels in the mag pockets as easily as I did mags. There are four extra pockets like this embedded in the Operatus chassis in addition to the traditional five-pocket jean design. If you’re running extended pistol mags like me, they’ll poke out a bit, but not enough to draw anyone’s attention. Standard mags will sink into the pocket, but that also has merit for concealment and you can just slide your finger up your leg until the bottom of the mag pokes up over the pocket opening for grasping.

You can also run AR mags, or a combination square, in several of these pockets. What I really like about this configuration is it allows me to drop some of the bulky Kydex mag holders, should I choose to. I was running two AR mags, two pistol mags, a flashlight, and a knife all in the pants pockets.

What really appeals to me here is the jeans are multi-purpose. They’re very low-vis and appear as everyday jeans, save for some subtle detailing like the Viktos sword and shield logo. This allows me to go into the big-box store without looking like a gun nerd. When I get home from the store, I can just as easily load my pockets with tools as weapons and ammo. So, whatever my mission profile is for that day: Honey-do or SHTF, Operatus has me covered.

I’ll break down my testdrive into some relevant categories.

Fit

I got the 36×36. The waist is fair and true to size with a little breathing room for gaining and losing pounds depending on what I’m doing for PT. The length is perhaps a bit longer than I’m used to, but their site mentions their sizes running a size larger than standard. As mentioned earlier, Viktos is calling the fit of this pant Attackposture.

The design here has the rear of the jean riding higher on your lower back. Plumber’s crack is thus eliminated. Sorry, plumbers. Intent here seems to be preventing the waist from riding down when squatting, kneeling, or otherwise getting your tactical on. For those of us wearing holsters and kit, if the waist doesn’t shift our gear doesn’t shift with it. It’s reminiscent of the fit you get with a Crye Precision combat pant, but in a jean.

viktos operatus xp

Part of this proprietary crotch-tech also comes with a looser overall fit. No skinny jeans here. By design, the freer fit allows for less restriction while doing actual work versus holding up the bar at your favorite watering hole. The gusset is well-placed and tacked with heavy-duty stitching. If there’s one thing that gives me the ass about my ass is when the gusset fails from being weak, thin, or ill-placed. So far, that doesn’t seem to be a problem here.

Finally, the denim has a little stretch to it. I’ve worn tactical jeans before that did the same thing. There apparently seems to be an inverse relationship between stretch and strength. The more flex it has, the thinner it is and sooner it will wear out. I hate that. Fortunately, Viktos seems to choose strength over stretch here, so high-fives are authorized.

Function

Now that it fits, it has to work. I mentioned the pockets. I love the pockets. There are nine of them in these suckers if I’m counting right. Standard five-pocket design, plus four built-in mag pouches. It’s great. I immediately stopped carrying my Kydex pistol mag holder and just rocked my 9mm mags in the provided pockets. Using the AR mag pockets will impede your movements some, but if we’re loading 5.56 into our pants, we’re probably going to be OK with the trade-off.

viktos jeans

Above: The pockets on the Operatus XP aren’t obnoxious, but provide substantial load carriage.

Notably, for those who have trouble employing the old trouser snake while wearing a gun-belt, Operatus features a dual-fly zipper. That’s right, Rangers. When trying to release the Kraken, forget hunting for that zipper way up under your gun belt or front dump pouch. The garage door on these jeans goes down and up. Just reach for the other slider at the bottom of the fly and pull up to hydrate the earth.

Durability

Forty-five days and counting. So far, so good. I haven’t noticed any premature wear thus far — and believe me, I’ve been looking. When my last pair of so-called “tactical jeans” started to wear into Kleenex at the seat, I couldn’t friggin’ believe it. Now I have premature pant failure disorder, or PPFD, and am constantly checking them to see if they’ve let me down. Nothing to report yet.

The stitching and hardware are premium; solid riveting throughout and no sign of thread-fray. They look to be as well-constructed as can be for a relatively lightweight pant. Again, if it’s the dead of winter, you can rock those heavy construction pants where the denim is like an inch thick, but if there’s no snow, I’m wearing the Operatus.

Comfort

Pfft. Whatever. Let’s pretend comfort matters to someone. Not me, of course. Way too hard for that. What I wanted was Viktos to line the inside of my pants with 220-grit sandpaper, but they wouldn’t do it. Oh, OK, guys. You’ll come around. In the meantime, yeah, the jeans are “comfortable.”

Gripes

The one thing I didn’t like was the angle of the opening of the hip pockets. I found when carrying my pistol in an outside-the-waistband holster and my pocket knife at the same time, the holster prevented me from accessing my knife. Partly, this is on me because I like to carry at the 2:45-ish
position when running OWB holsters. Carrying a full-size Glock 17 with light pretty much occludes access to the right-side hip pocket where I’d normally clip my knife. The geometry forced me to move the knife to the pistol mag pocket on that side, which isn’t a deal-breaker, but I’d rather not do it.

viktos jeans operatus xp

I think the easy fix would be to simply lower the attachment point where the pocket meets the outside seam of the pant. This would allow more clearance to run a pocket knife or light in that go-to position of our jeans while still maintaining its cover as a run-of-the-mill pant.

Verdict

Easy. Get these. I plan to endurance test these things even more over the coming months. If they hold up to what I throw at them, I’ll be buying several more pairs. If they don’t hold up long-term, I’ll report back and let everyone know what I experienced, and my hunt will go on.

In the meantime, if you’re like me and want to be ready without looking ready, these might just be the jeans you’ve been looking for.

Family Fined, Kicked Off Their Own Property While Trying to Live Sustainably

0

This article was originally published by Matt Agorist at The Free Thought Project.

There is no question that 2020 was one of the most difficult years in American history. As the government shut down the economy, driving unemployment to record levels and forcing businesses to close their doors forever, tens of millions of Americans found themselves in dire straits.

To deal with the unprecedented hard times, some folks like Tim Leslie and his family began to get creative, buying property and homesteading. However, because the land of the free is is but a fleeting myth in this country, government officials did all they could to thwart it.

Last year, Leslie lost his job. With no other options in mind, he bought a plot of land in Polk County, parked an RV on it, and began to live off the land. On the property, Leslie has chickens, goats, and a vegetable garden for his wife and their two kids, 9-year-old Knox and 18-month-old Daisy.

“We plan on building a forever home here and, you know, growing old and giving it to our kids,” Leslie told WSB-TV.

After he was fired, Leslie took his life savings — draining his pension and 401(k) — and bought the property in Polk County. The purchase took place in November of 2020.

The family’s dreams of homesteading on their own property came to a grinding halt, however, and has morphed into a nightmare thanks to the intrusive and utterly cruel nature of the state.

Leslie and his family are no longer living on their own property and are instead living in an RV park because county officials forced them to move. The county issued the family a steep fine and then ordered them to move or face arrest and have his property stolen — because living on your own property in an RV is “illegal.”

“Before I could go to court, they showed up at my property, the building inspector and the code enforcement officer, and told me that I had to be off my land or they were going to seize my vehicles and my assets,” Leslie told Choi.

This move is especially insidious for two reasons. The first reason is obvious; Leslie and his family own the property and no one should be able to tell him what to do on it — especially due to the fact they are a struggling family during unprecedented times in a pandemic.

The second reason is that Leslie checked the law before making these moves and he is following it.

According to WSB-TV, Leslie says he checked the county codes before buying the land. He showed them the section that allows for “single-family dwellings” in an agricultural district, under which his property is designated. Under the county’s definition for “dwellings”, it specifically includes “manufactured homes, mobile homes, industrialized buildings, and recreational vehicles.”

“It showed that we could have our animals here and be in our camper temporarily. So that’s the reason we moved out,” Leslie said.

Despite following the law as stated above, Leslie’s citation is for “living in campers/RV.”

“This is a question about property rights,” said attorney Ari Bargil with the Institute for Justice. “Mr. Leslie owns the property on which he situated his camper. And as a result, he has the right to live there, as long as he’s not harming anybody through his use.”

One would think that the media coverage on the case, coupled with the egregious nature of kicking a family off their own property for trying to survive during a pandemic, would make officials rethink their move. However, one would be wrong.

According to WSB-TV, the county manager, the police chief, and the county commission chair all refused to comment on the case but Polk County police chief Kenny Dodd had no problem standing behind the move.

In an email to the news station, Dodd cited several codes for kicking the family off their own property, extorting them, and threatening to steal their property.

According to WSB-TV, one states, “temporary buildings and trailers shall not be allowed in any district except when utilized for construction site contracting work.”

Another requires that “single-family dwellings contain 12-hundred square feet minimum.”

Chief Dodd also referenced section 700.03, which lists the purpose of the codes to include “aesthetic values of land and property,” WSB-TV reported.

But constitutional experts disagree. Bargil pointed out that there is no legitimate basis for them to kick the family from their property.

“There is nothing that says that he can or cannot have a camper on his property,” Bargil said. “They’re trying to compile this mishmash of ordinance applications in order to be able to say you can’t do this. But the reality is that this is a unique use of property. It’s one that’s not contemplated by the city’s ordinances. And for that reason alone, it should be allowed, at least temporarily.”

Now, the family’s move to become more sustainable is costing them money and livestock. Since they are not there to look after the land at night, coyotes are poaching their animals.

The fact that the government is doing this to an innocent family for attempting to live a sustainable life on their own property is tyrannical. However, the fact that they are doing it when millions of people are unemployed and on the verge of starvation, makes this especially insidious.

“People are struggling financially. I think it’s important that cities allow people some leeway so that they can figure out creative ways for them to be able to make ends meet, and to get by until they’re able to get back up on their feet,” Bargil said.

We agree.

For now, the Leslie family is waiting for a court date to appeal their case and attempt to get back their property. Hopefully, they are successful as anything else would be sheer despotism.

It Is ALL BY DESIGN: The Great Reset Is Coming, Prepare For Digital Currency

0

If you think you have no liberty or freedom now, just wait until the Great Reset, and the elitists and ruling class demand you use their digital dollar.  This is all by design and everything will be tracked, traced, surveilled, monitored, and shut off if you don’t agree to willingly enslave yourself to these psychopaths.

Supporters of the World Economic Forum’s all-encompassing Great Reset agenda are eyeing BIG changes for the global monetary system.

Plans that might once have been dismissed as pure speculation or conspiracy theories are now being openly pushed by people who occupy the highest levels of power. -Stefan Gleason, Money Metals Exchange

If people allow a digital dollar to become a part of their lives, we will end up completely and wholly enslaved. Not that we aren’t now, but there will be no escape. Comply, or be shut off from buying food.

If the Federal Reserve, perhaps in coordination with the IMF, attains the ability to inject stimulus directly into digital wallets, then Quantitative Easing could take a whole new meaning. Central bankers could bypass Congress and distribute their own aid as they see fit – and dole out their own punishments as well.

Medical Journal: Get The COVID-19 Vaccine, Or Be Punished HARSHLY

Treasury Secretary Yellen recently told the New York Times, “Too many Americans really don’t have access to easy payment systems and to banking accounts, and I think this is something that a digital dollar — a central bank digital currency — could help with. I think it could result in faster, safer, and cheaper payments.”

But ankers and politicians do not work in our favor and any still believing they work for us, is delusional. A central bank digital currency might also result in the imposition of negative interest rates or the automatic deduction of taxes with no way for holders to escape. If you are guilty of “wrongthink,” expect to be punished for it monetarily. We have got to wake up and stop allowing other human beings to have any power or control over our lives. Stop the talk of transferring power and just cease to be a slave. This world is going down a dark path if we cannot realize we have no obligation to be slaves for any reason, whether the masters call it government or democracy or republic.

Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell told Congress last week that the Fed is indeed “looking carefully” at issuing a digital dollar, calling it “a high priority project for us.”

The best way to protect yourself is to own physical gold and silver. YOu can also work with your neighbors more locally and take to a barter system that could be mutually beneficial for all. Both will help remove power from the system and in the end, free you and your family from the permanent enslavement these people want to force on us all.

TX Governor Now “Allowing” Texans To Be “Free”

0

The governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, has announced that Texans, are now “allowed” to be freer.  He ended the lockdowns and mask mandates to the delight of the slaves, with not many questioning if he should even have the authority to strip them of their freedom in the first place.

We had better wake up.  This guy is going to now “allow” people to lie their lives, not freely, but almost as free as they were before COVID. Which wasn’t that free anyway considering that government is slavery. Why do so many people need the permission of the ruling class to be free, when it’s our birthright.  We had all better figure this out soon.

“People are cemented in their own cognitive dissonance and really, Stockholm syndrome. This is a solidification of Stockholm syndrome, writ large, ” says Brian of High Impact Flix, a YouTube creator. “We can all go back to business because King Abbott said so!” Brian says mockingly.

Some tell those of us who wish for the complete abolition of all slavery to “take what we can get.” Nope. I want it all. I want all of my freedom to live my life not under the thumb of any other human who I know I have no obligation to obey or be enslaved to. We should all understand that by now.

The fact that Abbott became a domestic enemy and then decides to give the people a few more links in their chains doesn’t make him any less a tyrant. “Am I saying I WANT the mandates to be there? That’s not what I’m saying at all. No man, on this earth can grant you or take away your freedom legitimately. It’s not a construct of ‘belief,’ it’s just true.  Does anybody have a higher claim over your life and property than you? The answer is ‘no!’” Brian says.

We need to stop celebrating our rulers who “allow” us to have some freedom that they had no legitimate right to take from us in the first place. This is the first step to waking up and realizing we don’t need these tyrants. It’s obvious. They need us and they need our compliance and obedience to their slave system.  It’s past time we figure this out if we ever expect to be truly free.

HALF Of French Home Health Workers Say They’ll “Resist the Vaccine”

0

While the COVID-19 vaccine isn’t the only problem facing humanity, it is a big one.  But people are finally standing up to it.  About half of French home health workers say that they won’t only deny taking the vaccine, but that they will resist it

Reuters, when covering the country’s vaccine rollout finds that only around “half of health workers in French care homes do not want to be vaccinated.”  Even after many of these workers routinely witness the ravages of COVID-19 on the elderly and infirm. Does that mean they’ve witnessed the vaccine doing more damage than the disease it’s supposed to present? We’ll let you ponder that one.

“There’s a complete loss of trust,” one home health care worker and trade union representative was cited in the report as saying, reflecting resistance to the growing pressure put on often underpaid staff in difficult working conditions who are being ordered to get vaccinated lest they risk the safety of the elderly patients. And another reflected a common answer of “I’m going to wait a bit.”

The intense skepticism and pushback stems from the fact that it’s both the government that’s reportedly underpaying them, while also demanding they get the jab, reported ZeroHedge.

Reuters presents a common refrain among the frontline care-givers as follows:

Marie-France Boudret, who works in a French home for the elderly, watched a patient suffocate to death in front of her because COVID-19 had infected his lungs. But when her employer offered her a vaccine against the virus, the nurse hesitated.

“I have some doubts,” said Boudret, 48. “I prefer to wait.”

More COIVD-19 Vax Deaths: Think They’ll Blame This On COVID-21?

This isn’t promising news for the ruling class, who desperately needs us all to take this vaccine, for one reason or another. The report offers both Germany and Switzerland as examples, where resistance to the vaccine among home healthcare staff could be even greater than in France. “In Germany, care home operator BeneVit Group surveyed staff in November and found only 30% wanted to get vaccinated, writes Reuters.

The United States has taken to enlisting the military to help distribute the vaccine. We have yet to see the extremes of terrorism but make no mistake, it will not end here.

LA Schools To Launch Microsoft COVID-Tracking App So Children Can Attend Classes

0

This article was originally published by Tyler Durden at ZeroHedge.

The Los Angeles school district is launching a Microsoft-developed a COVID-tracking app for children, which allows students to schedule and view the results of COVID tests, post the results of off-campus COVID tests, and schedule vaccinations.

According to a promotional video, however, “the real magic is your daily health check,” where students answer a questionnaire about whether they have any symptoms – after which the “Daily Pass” app will issue the child a scannable QR code to be scanned by a staff member, who will also take the child’s temperature.

Your entrance ticket appears!” exclaims the narrator.

Given the incredibly low transmission rate of COVID transmission at schools – just 0.08% among more than 90,000 students in North Carolina school districts according to the University of Minnesota’s Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy – one can’t help but question whether Microsoft’s app will actually improve the COVID situation, or simply collect data and habituate children to being tracked. Of note, all data will be reported as required to health authorities, according to the LA Times.

The app, first announced in August, will be ‘instrumental in coordinating student and employee health checks, coronavirus tests and vaccinations.’

The software associated with the app is already being used to schedule and track district-managed coronavirus tests and vaccinations — the district began a pilot vaccination effort last week.

In Monday’s announcement, Beutner touted the app’s ability to generate a unique QR code for each student and staff member authorizing entry to a specific L.A. Unified location for that day.

A person will receive that code based on a negative coronavirus test or by self-reporting that they are free of symptoms. When those individuals arrive at a campus, their QR code, a type of barcode, is scanned by a staff member, who also takes the individual’s temperature. Besides helping to keep people safe, the goal is to prevent logjams at the entrance to school at the beginning of the day. –LA Times

Sort of like the golden ticket in ‘Willy Wonka,’ everyone with this pass can easily get into a school building,” said Superintendent Austin Beutner in a Monday statement.

The Times notes that this process “will not catch people who are asymptomatic carriers of the infection” (16% of children who contract COVID), but the school district hopes to “address that shortcoming through the weekly coronavirus testing of students and staff.”

“We’ll know the status of everyone on the building,” said Buetner, who added that it’s unclear when elementary schools will return to in-person instruction, but that day-care and small-group in-person learning will begin this week for a limited number of children.

United Teachers Los Angeles, meanwhile, says their district’s teachers, counselors, nurses, and librarians should not return to work until they are fully immunized.

Home Invasions: All the Ways the Government Can Lay Siege to Your Property

0

This article was originally published by John W. Whitehead at The Rutherford Institute.

EDITOR’S NOTE: It’s time to wake up and stand for the abolishment of the last form of slavery on the planet. Just because it’s “legal” doesn’t make the government anything less than slavery.  No one has a higher claim over your life and property than you do, and we all need to figure that out. The only solution is to abolish slavery. We don’t want to minimize slavery or reduce it. Fewer chains don’t make us any less slaves.  We should all want control and power over people abolished permanently. Period.

How ‘secure’ do our homes remain if police, armed with no warrant, can pound on doors at will and … forcibly enter?”—Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the lone dissenter in Kentucky v. King

Americans are not safe in their homes.

Not anymore, at least.

This present menace comes from the government and its army of bureaucratized, corporatized, militarized mercenaries who are waging war on the last stronghold left to us as a free people: the sanctity of our homes.

The weapons of this particular war on our personal security and our freedoms include an abundance of laws that criminalize almost everything we do, a government that views our private property as its own, militarized police who have been brainwashed into believing that they operate above the law, courts that insulate police from charges of wrongdoing, legislatures that legitimize the government’s usurpations of our rights, and a populace that is so ignorant of their rights and distracted by partisan politics as to be utterly incapable of standing up to the government’s overreaches, incursions, and power grabs.

This is how far the mighty have fallen.

Government agents—with or without a warrant, with or without probable cause that criminal activity is afoot, and with or without the consent of the homeowner—are now justified in mounting home invasions in order to pursue traffic violators, seize lawfully-owned weapons, carry out knock-and-talk “chats” with homeowners in the dead of night, “prevent” individuals from harming themselves, provide emergency aid, intervene in the face of imminent danger, serve as community caretakers, chase down individuals suspected of committing misdemeanor crimes, and anything else they can get away with.

This doesn’t even begin to touch on the many ways the government and its corporate partners-in-crime may be using surveillance technology—with or without the blessing of the courts—to invade one’s home: with wiretaps, thermal imaging, surveillance cameras, and other monitoring devices.

However, while the courts and legislatures have yet to fully address the implications of such virtual intrusions on our Fourth Amendment, there is no mistaking the physical intrusions by police into the privacy of one’s home: the toehold entry, the battering ram, the SWAT raid, the knock-and-talk conversation, etc.

Whether such intrusions, warranted or otherwise, are unconstitutional continues to be litigated, legislated and debated.

The spirit of the Constitution, drafted by men who chafed against the heavy-handed tyranny of an imperial ruler, would suggest that one’s home is a fortress, safe from almost every kind of intrusion. Unfortunately, a collective assault by the government’s cabal of legislators, litigators, judges and militarized police has all but succeeded in reducing that fortress—and the Fourth Amendment alongside it—to a crumbling pile of rubble.

Two cases before the U.S. Supreme Court this term, Caniglia v. Strom and Lange v. California, are particularly noteworthy.

In Caniglia v. Strompolice want to be able to carry out warrantless home invasions in order to seize lawfully-owned guns under the pretext of their so-called “community caretaking” duties. Under the “community caretaking” exception to the Fourth Amendment, police can conduct warrantless searches of vehicles relating to accident investigations and provide aid to “citizens who are ill or in distress.”

At a time when red flag gun laws are gaining traction as a legislative means by which to allow police to remove guns from people suspected of being threats, it wouldn’t take much to expand the Fourth Amendment’s “community caretaking” exception to allow police to enter a home without a warrant and seize lawfully-possessed firearms based on concerns that the guns might pose a danger.

What we do not need is yet another pretext by which government officials can violate the Fourth Amendment at will under the pretext of public health and safety.

In Lange v. Californiapolice want to be able to enter homes without warrants as long as they can claim to be in pursuit of someone they suspect may have committed a crime. Yet as Justice Neil Gorsuch points out, in an age in which everything has been criminalized, that leaves the door wide open for police to enter one’s home in pursuit of any and all misdemeanor crimes.

At issue in Lange is whether police can justify entering homes without a warrant under the “hot pursuit” exception to the Fourth Amendment.

The case arose after a California cop followed a driver, Arthur Lange, who was honking his horn while listening to music. The officer followed Lange, supposedly to cite him for violating a local noise ordinance, but didn’t actually activate the police cruiser’s emergency lights until Lange had already arrived home and entered his garage. Sticking his foot under the garage door just as it was about to close, the cop confronted Lange, smelled alcohol on his breath, ordered him to take a sobriety test, and then charged him with a DUI and a noise infraction.

Lange is just chock full of troubling indicators of a greater tyranny at work.

Overcriminalization: That you can now get pulled over and cited for honking your horn while driving and listening to music illustrates just how uptight and over-regulated life in the American police state has become.

Make-work policing: At a time when crime remains at an all-time low, it’s telling that a police officer has nothing better to do than follow a driver seemingly guilty of nothing more than enjoying loud music.

Warrantless entry: That foot in the door is a tactic that, while technically illegal, is used frequently by police attempting to finagle their way into a home and sidestep the Fourth Amendment’s warrant requirement.

The definition of reasonable: Although the Fourth Amendment prohibits warrantless and unreasonable searches and seizures of “persons, houses, papers, and effects,” where we run into real trouble is when the government starts dancing around what constitutes a “reasonable” search. Of course, that all depends on who gets to decide what is reasonable. There’s even a balancing test that weighs the intrusion on a person’s right to privacy against the government’s interests, which include public safety.

Too often, the scales weigh in the government’s favor.

End runs around the law: The courts, seemingly more concerned with marching in lockstep with the police state than upholding the rights of the people, have provided police with a long list of exceptions that have gutted the Fourth Amendment’s once-robust privacy protections.

Exceptions to the Fourth Amendment’s warrant requirement allow the police to carry out warrantless searches: if someone agrees to the search; in order to ferret out weapons or evidence during the course of an arrest; if the police think someone is acting suspiciously and may be armed; during a brief investigatory stop; if a cop sees something connected to a crime in plain view; if police are in hot pursuit of a suspect who flees into a building; if they believe a vehicle has contraband; in an emergency where there may not be time to procure a warrant; and at national borders and in airports.

In other words, almost anything goes when it comes to all the ways in which the government can now invade your home and lay siege to your property.

Thus we tumble down that slippery slope which might have started out with a genuine concern for public safety and the well-being of the citizenry only to end up as a self-serving expansion of the government’s powers that makes a mockery of the Fourth Amendment while utterly disregarding the rights of “we the people.”

Frankly, it’s a wonder we have any property interests, let alone property rights, left to protect.

Think about it.

That house you live in, the car you drive, the small (or not so small) acreage of land that has been passed down through your family or that you scrimped and saved to acquire, whatever money you manage to keep in your bank account after the government and its cronies have taken their first and second and third cut…none of it is safe from the government’s greedy grasp.

At no point do you ever have any real ownership in anything other than the clothes on your back.

Everything else can be seized by the government under one pretext or another (civil asset forfeiture, unpaid taxes, eminent domain, public interest, etc.).

The American Dream has been reduced to a lease arrangement in which we are granted the privilege of endlessly paying out the nose for assets that are only ours so long as it suits the government’s purposes.

And when it doesn’t suit the government’s purposes? Watch out.

This is not a government that respects the rights of its citizenry or the law. Rather, this is a government that sells its citizens to the highest bidder and speaks to them in a language of force.

Under such a fascist regime, the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which declares that no person shall “be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation,” has become yet another broken shield, incapable of rendering any protection against corporate greed while allowing the government to justify all manner of “takings” in the name of the public good.

What we are grappling with is a government that has forfeited its purpose for existing.

Philosophers dating back to John Locke have long asserted that the true purpose of government is to protect our rights, not just our collective rights as a people, but our individual rights, specifically our rights to life, liberty, and property. As James Madison concluded in the Federalist Papers, “Government is instituted no less for the protection of the property than of the persons of individuals.”

What we have been saddled with is a government that has not only lost sight of its primary reason for being—to protect the people’s rights—but has also re-written the script and cast itself as an imperial overlord with all of the neo-feudal authority such a position entails.

Let me put it another way.

If the government can tell you what you can and cannot do within the privacy of your home, whether it relates to what you eat, what you smoke, or whom you love, you no longer have any rights whatsoever within your home.

If government officials can fine and arrest you for growing vegetables in your front yard, gathering with friends to worship in your living room, installing solar panels on your roof, and raising chickens in your backyard, you’re no longer the owner of your property.

If school officials can punish your children for what they do or say while at home or in your care, your children are not your own—they are the property of the state.

If government agents can invade your home, break down your doors, kill your dog, damage your furnishings and terrorize your family, your property is no longer private and secure—it belongs to the government.

If police can forcefully draw your blood, strip search you, probe you intimately or force you to submit to vaccinations or lose your so-called “privileges” to move about and interact freely with your fellow citizens, your body is no longer your own—it is the government’s to do with as it deems best.

Likewise, if the government can lockdown whole communities and by extension, the nation, quarantine whole segments of the population, outlaw religious gatherings, and assemblies of more than a few people, shut down entire industries and manipulate the economy, muzzle dissidents, and “stop and seize any plane, train or automobile to stymie the spread of contagious disease,” then you no longer have a property interest as master of your own life, either.

This is what a world without the Fourth Amendment looks like, where the lines between private and public property have been so blurred that private property is reduced to little more than something the government can use to control, manipulate and harass you to suit its own purposes, and you the homeowner and citizen have been reduced to little more than a tenant or serf in bondage to an inflexible landlord.

If we continue down this road, the analogy shifts from property owners to prisoners in a government-run prison with local and federal police acting as prison guards. In such an environment, you have no rights.

So what can we do, short of scrapping this whole experiment in self-government and starting over?

At a minimum, we need to rebuild the foundations of our freedoms.

What this will mean is adopting an apolitical, nonpartisan, zero-tolerance attitude towards the government when it oversteps its bounds and infringes on our rights.

We need courts that prioritize the rights of the citizenry over the government’s insatiable hunger for power at all costs.

We need people in the government—representatives, bureaucrats, etc.—who honor the public service oath to uphold and defend the Constitution.

Most of all, we need to reclaim control over our runaway government and restore our freedoms.

After all, we are the government. As I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, “we the people” are supposed to be the ones calling the shots. As John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the United States, rightly observed: “No power on earth has a right to take our property from us without our consent.”

New York Rolls Out “COVID Passport”

New York state has launched a new Covid-19 “passport” program at major event venues. This means spectators will be asked to use a phone app to prove they’ve been vaccinated, as mandated under state guidelines, or be banned from the event.

Tyranny is here, and no one seems to notice or even care that much. The “Excelsior Pass,” as it is dubbed, was tested for a second time at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday during a New York Rangers game. This “pass” functions like a mobile boarding pass that conveys attendees’ vaccine and testing status. While it made its debut at the Barclays Center late last month, Governor Andrew Cuomo unveiled the project in an announcement this week, insisting the data on the pass would be kept “completely confidential,” according to reports by RT.

This could not only be an attempt by Cuomo to not only expand his power over the ignorant willful slaves in New York but also a distraction from his numerous scandals such as “unwanted sexual advancesand the murder of the elderly to boost the COVID-19 numbers last spring.

Cuomo’s tyranny has far surpassed most other governors’, except for perhaps Gavin Newsome in California. This all a ploy to distract, deceive, and divide.  It’s also a test to see just how many of the slaves Cuomo can get to willingly participate in their own enslavement.

The tyrant even said the “COIVD pass” is “voluntary” for now. “The Excelsior Pass will play a critical role in getting information to venues and sites in a secure and streamlined way, allowing us to fast-track the reopening of these businesses and getting us one step closer to reaching a new normal,” Cuomo said.

This “new normal” is looking a lot like slavery and yet, people cannot be bothered to even ask the questions.

As of February 23, New York’s pandemic restrictions require venues with more than 10,000 seats to ensure all staff and spectators receive either a negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours of an event, or to prove they’ve been fully vaccinated against the illness. The guidelines also force organizers to collect contact information from all those in attendance to help inform contact tracing efforts,” though that is done separately from the new Excelsior Pass. -RT

Wake up. It’s here.  This has been the goal from the beginning of this scamdemic.  It’s never been about health.  It’s been about power and control. It’ll get worse from here, as not nearly enough human beings have figured it out yet.

Price of Food & Gasoline Goes Higher: The Trend Will Continue

0

The price of food and gasoline will continue to creep higher as inflation has an effect on the costs of necessities. Those who are already living paycheck to paycheck will not be able to escape the effects of the government’s response to the scamdemic.

Since the goal is impoverishment, the government knew exactly what they were doing when they shut down small businesses and allowed the big box stores to stay open as “essential.”

The reasons behind the increases are myriad but generally can be traced back to one or more consequences of the pandemic: Logjams in the world’s supply chain are one culprit. The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development found that global shipping dropped last year, the first decrease since 2009. “The short-term outlook for maritime trade is grim. Predicting the pandemic’s longer-term impact as well as the timing and scale of the industry’s recovery is fraught with uncertainty,” the organization warned. –NBC News

Phil Lempert, the founder of SupermarketGuru.com, warned that shoppers shouldn’t expect any relief on their wallets any time soon. “I think food prices are going to continue to increase for probably a good year, year and a half,” he predicted. “Our costs are going to go up for food production,” he said.

Another contributor to escalating food costs is the rising price of oil and gasoline. In order to supply grocery stores with food, suppliers must truck it in. That means there’s a higher demand for the current supply of gasoline. Once the scamdemic restrictions began to ease, the demand for gasoline bounced back more quickly than oil producers could increase production, leading to an upward march for prices, even with millions of people still not taking business trips or commuting to work.

TX Governor Now “Allowing” Texans To Be “Free”

Await the preplanned solution. It will be a digital dollar linked to a universal basic income in exchange for your total enslavement to the state. Does anyone still wonder why people all over the globe are realizing government is slavery?

World Health Organization Claims There’s A COVID “Resurgence” In Europe

0

The World Health Organization unsurprisingly is claiming that there has been a COVID-19 “resurgence” in Europe.  Perfect timing as people all over reject the vaccine and wake up to the whole scamdemic hoax.

The ruling class will not give this up.  We need to make sure we are educated and use discernment because we know they need our fear in order to enslave us.  Without fear, people won’t willingly fasten the chains of their own oppression around their necks and the necks of their neighbors.

According to mainstream media propaganda outlets, we all need to cower in fear as the common cold makes a comeback. The World Health Organization (WHO) is seeing a resurgence of COVID-19 cases in central and eastern Europe, as well as a rise of new cases in several western European countries, the head of its European office, said on Thursday, reported Reuters

“Continued strain on our hospitals and health workers is being met with acts of medical solidarity between European neighbors. Nonetheless, over a year into the pandemic our health systems should not be in this situation,” Hans Kluge told reporters.

“Medical solidarity” can obviously be translated to “medical slavery.” Just wait until they announce which new variant is “attacking” the public.

More COIVD-19 Vax Deaths: Think They’ll Blame This On COVID-21?

While it is very positive that vaccinations continue at a steady pace, “we are denying the gravity of the situation before us,” particularly concerning the more-transmissible variant first identified in the United Kingdom, said Michael Osterholm on CNN’s “New Day.”   Osterholm is the director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota.

And then the tyrants actually have the guts to tell us the truth. “It’s not going to be good,” Osterholm says “with certainty.” He said that the number of people currently vaccinated and those previously infected who have immunity add up to about 35 to 40% of the population protected.  “For the whole last year — for all the pain, suffering and death and illness — we still are only at about 40%. … So add that together with the following: more infectious, more severe illness, and we’re loosening up everything. You put those two together and I think the question is, what is going to happen? None of us can say with certainty other than to say it’s not going to be good,” he said.

When will humanity wake up? The evidence is there. They are telling us they already know what’s going to happen because it’s planed in advance like this entire scamdemic hoax.
