Welcome to TFB’s Concealed Carry Corner, where we cover all sorts of topics on carrying firearms in every way as it pertains to everyday life. A few years ago, I covered the broad topic of concealed carrying while running, what sorts of dangers runners (and pedestrians, regardless of speed) could face, as well as various […]
A leaked Zoom conference reveals a doctor questioning how to increase the count of COVID-19 patient numbers on the hospital’s dashboard report.
The media outlet National File said it obtained the recording from an “internal source” at the Novant Health System that includes New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina.
National File posted the video on its Twitter feed on Sept. 10.
National File and other local media outlets that reported on the leak identified the people in the video as Mary Kathryn Rudyk, a physician at the medical center, who is asking Carolyn Fisher, the hospital’s director of marketing, how to inflate the number of people classified as COVID-19 patients for the purpose of generating fear in the unvaccinated.
“I think we have to be more blunt, we have to be more forceful—we have to say something coming out—if you don’t get vaccinated, you know you are going to die,” Rudyk said in the video. “Let’s just be really blunt to these people.”
The video begins with Fisher explaining how her department is communicating “meaningful numbers”—the percentage of the unvaccinated, vaccinated, and percentage of deaths in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)—to the public.
Rudyk then asked how post-COVID cases can be included in the number of people hospitalized for COVID-19.
“My feeling at this point in time is that maybe we need to be completely a little bit more scary for the public,” Rudyk said. “There are many people still hospitalized that we’re considering post-COVID, but we are not counting in those numbers, so how do we include those post-COVID people in the numbers of patients we have in the hospital?”
Fisher asked if she meant every patient who has been in the hospital “since the beginning of COVID?”
Rudyk answered, “Well, that are still in, and that’s something I can take to someone else, but I think those are important numbers: the patients that are still in the hospital, that are off the COVID floor but still are occupying the hospital for a variety of reasons.”
Also on the Zoom conference call was Shelbourn Stevens, president of New Hanover Regional Medical Center, who said those patients are classified as “recovered.”
“But I do think, from our standpoint, we would still consider them a COVID patient because they’re still healing,” Stevens said.
Rudyk said she thinks those patients need to be “highlighted as well, because once they’re off isolation, they drop from the COVID numbers,” prompting Stevens to say that they can later talk offline about “how we can run that up to marketing.”
Novant Health Response
In response to questions asking for confirmation on if people in the video were employees of New Hanover Regional Medical Center and what the context of the video was, a spokesperson for Novant Health told The Epoch Times that staff involved in the excerpt of the video are seeing the “highest levels of COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths so far in this pandemic, despite having safe and effective vaccines widely available.”
“This was a frank discussion among medical and communications professionals on how we can more accurately convey the severity and seriousness of what’s happening inside of our hospitals and throughout our communities,” the spokesperson said. “Specifically, the data we have been sharing does not include patients who remain hospitalized for COVID-19 complications even though they are no longer on COVID-19 isolation, so it does not provide a complete picture of the total impact of COVID-19 on our patients and on our hospitals.”
The hospital continues to be concerned with misinformation, the spokesperson said, and that it strives “to be transparent and tell the whole story.”
Newsmax host Grant Stinchfield became irate and cut the feed of U.S. Army veteran, Joe Saboe, last night after Saboe explained that multiple presidents, including Trump, made mistakes throughout the duration of the conflict in Afghanistan.
Biden stranded hundreds if not thousands of Americans and US allies in Afghanistan and armed the Taliban with $85 billion in arms as he pulled out.
It was a historic surrender.
Good for Stinchfield for not allowing that nonsense on his show.

Liz Harris recently revealed the earth-shattering findings from her citizen-led canvassing efforts throughout Maricopa County.
After knocking on the doors of tens of thousands of registered voters, citizen volunteers discovered that many people cast ballots that weren’t counted (lost votes) and many others did not cast a ballot but had a vote counted in their name (ghost votes).
Liz Harris said that they potentially found 173,104 lost votes and 96,389 ghost votes.
Maricopa County immediately attempted to discredit the findings and the team of volunteers.
On September 10, Maricopa County released a statement titled “Maricopa County Recorder and Assessor Respond to Partisan Canvass Report”.
In this report, the Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer and the County Assessor Eddie Cook claimed that the address at 2058 E. Wildermuth Ave. in Tempe was not a vacant lot.
They used a five-year-old photo of the lot, when it had homes on it, to say “This property was a mobile home property through 2020″.
They failed to mention that the property was demolished prior to October 22, 2020, and the 2020 election.
Liz Harris responded to the county’s absolute bogus report on Monday.
Harris obtained images from the Maricopa County Assessor’s page dated October 22, 2020, which prove that the County is spewing falsehoods.
The demolition permit for this property was issued on 1/13/2020.
Harris: Additional photographic evidence, eyewitness testimony and public records confirm that the mobile home park owners sold this property on February 19, 2020, to an investment/development company and the property along with all the surrounding structures were subsequently completely leveled in the first half of 2020.
Why did the County Recorder and Assessor intentionally choose an image from more than 5 years ago to discredit our report?
County officials also misled the public on their social media pages.
Cook: this address was a legitimate address to receive mail before ownership changed in 2021.
The image above proves that this statement is completely false.
Cook: Again, I met with the County Recorders office to verify this voter. The voter registered in 2016. Then in 2019 this voter moved and request his all his mail including his ballot be forward to another address. This is allowed by State Law.
Assessor cook now claims that the ballot was legally forwarded to this voter after he moved from this address in 2019.
Recorder Richer concurred.
In case you are not aware: Per law (A.R.S. 16-558.01), official election materials, such as ballots CANNOT be forwarded.
5. Will my ballot be sent to my forwarding address on file with the Post Office?
No. As required by law, all official election materials, such as ballots, are marked “Do Not Forward – Return Service Requested”. If the early ballot is returned to us indicating you are no longer at the residential address on file or that a forwarding order is on file, this will then begin the process of deactivating your voter
Why are the Maricopa County Recorder and Assessor stating that the former resident’s ballot was forwarded when A.R.S. 16-558.01 states official ballots are NONFORWARDABLE?
The two officials flip-flopped their story in their joint official statement, saying “The “ghost vote” in question by this report turned out to be a former resident of the mobile home park and requested their ballot at a temporary address.”
6. How can I have my ballot mailed to a temporary mailing address?
If you are a voter not already on the Permanent Early Voting List, you can submit your temporary mailing address to Request.Maricopa.Vote or by submitting a written request through one of the options listed below.
Temporary mailing address requests can be submitted between 93 and 11 days prior to Election Day.
“Temporarily away” orders are for those who will be temporarily away from their address at the time of the election, for example, if they were out of town at the time of the election.
This resident moved away permanently from 2058 E. Wildermuth Ave. and a demo permit was issued by the City of Tempe on January 13, 2020.
County Recorder Richer and Assessor Cook also acknowledged on social media that this voter permanently moved from this address in 2019.
Although Recorder Richer and Assessor Cook now assert that the former resident requested a “temporarily away” address 330+ days before ballots were to be mailed out, the County’s EV32 official record of all sent ballots for the 2020 General Election indicate that on 10/23/2020, a ballot bearing the name of the former resident (VoterID 4830013) was mailed to the vacant lot at 2058 E Wildermuth Ave Tempe. As you can see from the picture taken directly from the County Assessors website, dated 10/22/2020, this address, along with all the surrounding lots were completely leveled in preparation for the Eastline Village Culdesac mixed use complex under development. It is clear from the photo dated 10/22/2020 that the residence and its mailbox were no longer there for a ballot mailed on 10/23/30 to be received.
County records confirm a General Election 2020 ballot for the former resident was mailed to the vacant lot.
The County recorded the mail-in ballot for the above address and VoterID 4830013 as being received back by the Elections Department on 11/01/2020, nine days later. This return receipt is officially recorded by the County in its EV33 files which are an official record of returned ballots. A mail in vote from this address is in the Final Voted VM55 file.
County records confirm a ballot for the former resident was returned from the vacant lot.
Who cast the vote from the vacant lot?
It is deeply troubling that Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer and Assessor Eddie Cook responded to our Grassroots Canvass Report with false information in an apparent attempt to mislead the public. Except for speaking with eyewitnesses, all the information we gathered was from researching Maricopa County and city public records. Through publicly available photographic documentation, public records, and eyewitness testimony the following is clear:
The property at 2058 E. Wildermuth Ave Tempe was a vacant lot prior to and at the time of the election.
The former resident moved from the property in 2019.
The City of Tempe issued a demolition permit on January 13, 2020.
The mobile home park was sold to an investment/development LLC on February 19, 2020.
The County mailed a ballot to the vacant lot address on October 23, 2020.
The County recorded a ballot as received from the vacant lot address on November 1, 2020.
The County recorded a vote for the 2020 General Election from the vacant lot address.
Why are the Maricopa County Recorder and the Maricopa County Assessor misleading the public about this vacant lot?

The Arizona audit report will be released to the public next Friday, September 24. All criminal wrongdoing will be referred to Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich who may open a criminal investigation.
Most people who get involved with the Clintons either end up dead or indicted.
Hillary Clinton-linked Perkins Coie lawyer Michael Sussmann was indicted on Thursday for lying to the FBI about not representing “any client” when he acted as a running dog and tipped off the bureau about the Trump Organization secretly communicating with Russian Alfa Bank.
The FBI began investigating the Trump Organization’s “back-channel” with the Russian-owned bank after Sussmann ran to the FBI and presented data files to back up the claims.
It was all a lie but Hillary promoted the lie anyway.
Recall, Hillary Clinton was the first to promote the bogus Russian Alfa Bank story with just days to go until the 2016 election
On October 31st Hillary tweeted, “It’s time for Trump to answer serious questions about his ties to Russia.” and she linked to a far-left Slate article claiming computer scientists discovered Trump’s secret server to be communicating with a Putin-tied bank called Alfa Bank. Excerpt from the Slate article:
“I have an outlier here that connects to Russia in a strange way,” he wrote in his notes. He couldn’t quite figure it out at first. But what he saw was a bank in Moscow that kept irregularly pinging a server registered to the Trump Organization on Fifth Avenue.
A federal grand jury has returned an indictment against cybersecurity attorney Michael Sussmann, who represented the Democratic National Committee in connection with the 2016 Russia hack, accusing him of lying to the FBI about who he was representing.
The grand jury indictment accuses Sussmann of lying when he “stated to the General Counsel of the FBI that he was not acting on behalf of any client in conveying particular allegations concerning a Presidential candidate, when in truth, and in fact, as the defendant well knew, he was acting on behalf of specific clients, namely, Tech Executive-1 and the Clinton Campaign.”
We learned of another occasion where either Susman or former FBI Director Jim Comey was guilty of lying under oath in when transcripts of Sussman’s testimony to the Mueller gang were finally released.
During his testimony before the House Intelligence Committee Sussmann told the House Intelligence Committee that the FBI had access to the DNC servers.
The problem is Jim Comey claimed that the FBI never had access to the servers.
This was a key point in the Russia collusion sham and it was a lie. We found out that regardless of whether the FBI inspected the DNC servers in 2016 or not, the fact was that Russia never hacked the DNC and never handed over hacked emails to Wikileaks before the 2016 election. It was all a lie. There was no such evidence to support this claim at all.
Comey and Sussman got in trouble when their testimonies contradicted. We still don’t know if the FBI ever had access to or inspected the DNC servers after emails were transferred to WikiLeaks. After millions of dollars we don’t know this key point.
Regardless, today Hillary connected attorney Sussman was thrown under the bus and will apparently be the fall guy in the case for lying to the FBI. The contradiction with Comey may never be addressed by Durham.
Last week, President Joe Biden made one of the most dictatorial and unilaterally tyrannical moves in the history of the country. Reading from his teleprompter on Thursday, Biden imposed stringent new vaccine mandates on federal employees and all companies in the U.S. with over 100 employees. Companies who do not comply will be fined over $10,000 per instance.
In the wake of this move, the Los Angeles Unified school district unanimously voted to require COVID-19 vaccines for all students 12 and older who attend school in person. The district consists of over 600,000 children who will now be required to take the jab to go to school. This move certainly isn’t based in science given the fact that in the last 19 months, just 138 kids, aged 5-14 years have died from COVID-19 in the entire country, according to the Centers for Disease Control’s own data.
In the last 19 months, 55,352 children from the ages of 0-17 have died from various causes. Just 412 of them have died from or with COVID-19. So, while this new vaccine mandate for children may ease the nerves of the Branch Covidians and Team Doom, to claim that it is for the benefit of children is baseless, and given the results of a recent study, outright insidious.
Research conducted by a team at the University of California has found that teenage boys are six times more likely to suffer from heart problems caused by the COVID-19 vaccine than to be hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 itself.
Read that again.
The team of researchers led by Dr. Tracy Høeg, analyzed data reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) and looked specifically at reports filed between January 1, 2021, and June 18, 2021, among adolescents ages 12-17 who received mRNA vaccination against COVID-19.
Researchers identified 257 stratified cardiac adverse events (CAEs) within the data. As the Telegraph reports, they “found that the risk of heart complications for boys aged 12-15 following the vaccine was 162.2 per million, which was the highest out of all the groups they looked at.”
Conversely, according to the study, “this incidence exceeds their expected 120-day COVID-19 hospitalization rate at both moderate (August 21, 2021 rates) and high COVID-19 hospitalization incidence.”
Examining both current and historical rates of hospitalization for COVID-19 for the age groups, the researchers found that (emphasis added) “for boys 12-15 without medical comorbidities receiving their second mRNA vaccination dose, the rate of CAE is 3.7 to 6.1 times higher than their 120-day COVID-19 hospitalization risk as of August 21, 2021 (7-day hospitalizations 1.5/100k population) and 2.6-4.3-fold higher at times of high weekly hospitalization risk (7-day hospitalizations 2.1/100k), such as during January 2021.”
In conclusion, the study’s authors called for further research into the indication of vaccination of this age group given the risk of post-vaccination CAE.
Further research into the severity and long-term sequelae of post-vaccination CAE is warranted. Quantification of the benefits of the second vaccination dose and vaccination in addition to natural immunity in this demographic may be indicated to minimize harm.
According to the study, it has not yet been peer-reviewed. However, given the nature of the raw data, it should have no problem undergoing this process.
Experts in the field are already urging caution, despite the lack of peer review.
Prof Adam Finn, a member of the UK’s Joint Committee on Vaccines and Immunisation at the University of Bristol, told The Guardian, “I stand by the JCVI advice, which is not to go ahead at this time with vaccinating healthy 12 to 15-year-olds on health outcome risk-benefit grounds given the current uncertainty – as there is a small but plausible risk that rare harms could turn out to outweigh modest benefits.”
At the very least, mandates like the one in Los Angeles should be put on pause as others take a closer look at the data. Unfortunately, this is not likely to happen. Even before the FDA had approved Pfizer’s experimental COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 12-15 back in May, San Francisco issued a health order allowing children to receive the shot without parental consent, known as ORDER OF THE HEALTH OFFICER No. C19-19.
Hopefully logic prevails and we don’t end up sacrificing the health of children to have a perception of safety for the elderly.
Why would Pennsylvania’s Senate vote to subpoena some items related to the 2020 Election but ignore other items requested from another Senate Committee?
The Pennsylvania Senate Intergovernment Operations Committee voted yesterday to subpoena a number of items related to the 2020 Election in their state. This list was robust and included emails related to the Secretary of State’s office and a number of inventories of Pennsylvanians who voted or were registered in the 2020 Election.
A Pennsylvania Senate committee is meeting this morning to vote on subpoenas for their 2020 election review.
The problem some are pointing out with yesterday’s subpoenas is that they omit the key elements from the Arizona audit – the ballots and the voting machines.
If yesterday’s vote in the Pennsylvania Senate was a legitimate attempt to get to the truth, why did they not ask for the supporting evidence (the ballots) that were counted in the 2020 Election? This omission needs to be corrected.
